Warhammer: My Mother Sanguinius
Chapter 3 Desperate Situation and Angel's Prophecy
Sanguinius opened his eyes.
She was not in a hurry to answer the huntress's question, but used her pale golden eyes to vaguely and quickly pass over the people around her.
This is a valley formed by dark red steep rock walls. There are several heavily modified sand vehicles parked at the entrance, and inside is a simple camp formed by a combination of tents and iron sheets.
There were about a hundred people in the camp, including men, women, old and young.
People's faces covered with scars and tumors were reflected in the red firelight, and their supposed beauty was destroyed by the ubiquitous radiation on Baobab. Like a rotten fruit, the sweet flesh disappears without a trace, leaving only the rugged soul that has been tortured and difficult inside——
But even so, there was still a certain light shining in those bright eyes.
With his heightened senses, Sanguinius could detect those eyes falling on him, which were mixed with curiosity, love, adoration, and subtle uneasiness and distrust.
They crave hope - Sanguinius thought to himself, then added, "And power."
"I'm crying for the pain people are going through."
Sanguinius raised her head, she looked into the Huntress's eyes, her voice was as soft as the feathers on an angel's white wings.
"Will you save us as the prophecy said?" The huntress knelt beside her, with hope on her cat-like cheeks.
"I will."
Sanguinius said, "I was created for this purpose, but I alone cannot accomplish such a great deed. To defeat them, those mutants who eat the living, it will take all the pure-blooded tribesmen." We are united."
"I understand that the greatest human wisdom lies in hope and waiting." O'Kelly said with a smile, "This is a sentence my father told me. Now, I think I somewhat understand the meaning of this sentence."
The dinner party ended quickly.
People dispersed and returned to their tents or tin houses to rest and wait for the next day.
But some people were left behind, including the huntress O'Kelly, the mechanic Kano, an old woman with clusters of tumors on her face like grapes, and a man with scars on his face, a stern appearance, and short silver hair like steel needles. young man.
"Angel--"
The young man with short silver hair thought for a while and added the word "adult" as an embellishment at the end. He then said, "I am Radolon, the leader of the tribe. First of all, I want to thank you for saving O'Kelly and Kano from those abominable mutant creatures. They are both precious members of the tribe."
"I just did what I was supposed to do," Sanguinius said softly.
"To be honest, when I first saw you, I couldn't fully trust you." Amidst the displeased looks of Kano and O'Kelly, Radolon looked directly into the angel's eyes and continued. , "But now, my tribe has been forced into a desperate situation, so I can only pray for your help."
Ladoron pursed his lips. He could praise the girl in front of him in a thousand words as sweet as mead, and it would not be an exaggeration. It was not even enough to describe some of the qualities the girl showed.
But when he looked into those pale golden eyes, his lips were dry and he could not hide his true inner thoughts in front of the angel.
He thought his words would cause the angel to be angry.
Doubt is always unpleasant for anyone. What's more, the other party rescued two of his tribe members not long ago and brought a large amount of food to the tribe - those Baal fire scorpions are a rare delicacy for the indigenous people on Baal.
But, this didn't happen.
"I appreciate your sincerity." The angel tilted her head. The expression on her face did not contain any expected sullenness, and was as calm as the rose-red sky at dawn on Baal. It looked like everything was as it should be, and she should be doubted by the person she saved without making any excuses.
After realizing this, Radolon suddenly felt a sense of guilt in his heart.
He lowered his head slightly, and his eyes met the angel's eyes without any trace, hiding his weak emotions under the surface.
He drew on the ground with his fingers.
First, I drew a few undulating fold lines on the soft sand. These lines represent the nearby Bloodwise Mounts, while the rough and straight lines below represent the harsh environment of the Demitian Badlands.
He drew a circle on the broken line representing the Blood Mountains and said: "This is the fortress where the Brass Brotherhood of the mutant tribe lives. They have many soldiers, their tongues are like swords, they are cruel and ruthless."
Then he drew two more dots on the line that represented the Wasteland of Pain.
One of the points is where Kano and others encountered the Footbinding Jaws and were attacked. The other point is the stronghold where the tribe is currently stationed. The three are almost connected in a straight line, and the place where Kano and others were attacked is less than thirty kilometers away from the camp.
"One thing that's almost certain."
Radolon frowned deeply, his face pierced by scars was full of solemn expression, "Our tribe has been found by the Brass Brotherhood!"
"They are a group of greedy hounds." Huntress O'Kelly said with uncontrollable fear on her face, "They will never stop hunting until they kill every prey they can find." All torn into pieces."
"Can we find a way to get out of here early?" Cano said.

"I'm afraid that won't work."
The old woman named Eugene who remained silent shook her head: "Thank you to the angels for bringing us enough food, but we no longer have enough vehicles and fuel to support us for another long-distance migration. And the long days are coming, and the heat, radiation, red mist—every curse in the wilderness is enough to easily take away the lives of the best warriors."
silence!
The only sound in the air was the grinding sound of gravel as the wind blew through it.
Kano heard the clicking sound of Radolon's teeth. Whenever the tribe encounters difficulties, he will do this, as if he wants to tear something alive and smash it into pieces. But Radolon could control his emotions very well every time. Kano had never seen the leader look like when he was angry.
"All the roads are blocked. This time it seems that we are really going to be in dire straits." Kano thought, he had expected such a day, but...
laugh!
Her delicate, green-white fingers traced lightly on the sand.
A straight line runs through the Wasteland of Pain, connecting the bloody mountains and the camps of pure-blood tribes. People focused their attention on the angel's delicate and flawless face, and the sweet voice sounded again.
"Their vehicles will pass by here tomorrow, when the red mist rises. Lay traps in the sand, the vehicles break down, kill the mutants inside, and we will get enough vehicles and fuel - this is me A sight to witness with your own eyes.”
——
Radolon is one of the three heroes of the Great Crusade. Unfortunately, compared to the other two Sigismund and Abaddon, the HH series does not depict Radolon much. In most cases, he follows the angels. The pendant is really a pity. Furthermore, for some details in Fear and Tread, Radolon should have become a Space Marine after unifying Baal. In order to facilitate the characterization, some additions and modifications have been added to Radolon’s background.
