Warhammer 40,000: Mortal Gods

Chapter 871 The Skinless One

"You actually live in something built by the Iron Warriors?"

Guilliman, who is good at management, is not interested in the information provided by the human slaves in front of him, but is more interested in why they are here.

So Guilliman directly asked the slave leader who was trembling with fear.

He got a response too.

"Why do you think the iron ring was made by the Iron Warriors?"

"No, they just hired people. We slaves were originally sent to build the iron ring."

"I won't ask carefully about the origins of the people who came to me for survival. Anyway, I ran out at the risk of my life, and then settled down where no one noticed."

The slave leader glanced back at the settlement.

"They won't take you back?" Ryan asked, "This is the core of the iron ring!"

"Core? A sewer in the core you mentioned is thousands of kilometers long, and the overall length is about the same as the equator of a planet!" The slave leader spread his hands, "I heard that when the construction first started, they would come to catch the escaped slaves, but Then it got bigger and bigger, and no one came to arrest it.”

Guilliman fell silent.

The slave leader in front of him did not expect that he could do things that all the people killed by these superhuman warriors could not do in just a few words.

That is to throw them into worry.

Guilliman could easily imagine that the iron ring, not counting the seven planets, was extremely large, and the strength of the Iron Warriors could not be filled even by the Space Marines and the mortal servants.

Everyone has gone so deep that they can actually find the living quarters of escaped slaves hiding in the ditch nearby.

Looking back at Locke's previous deal, it is obvious that the judges and other personnel who came here to perform covert operations also asked these slaves to lead the way.

War blacksmith, these people in front of me, these are not important things.

The Golden Expedition was the most important thing, and at first everyone thought that they would only face the Iron Warriors next, but it was obvious that the Iron Warriors would not actively place the Iron Ring in front of the expedition fleet when their forces were so dispersed.

By now, even mortals can realize that the next war will not be Expedition Fleet VS Iron Warriors.

It's the Expedition Fleet vs. the Iron Ring. All the people on the Iron Ring are already here, and all the traitors or other enemies of humanity who will be here soon.

"It seems that the next war will be a lot of trouble." Horus sighed. He had just thought of the same thing as Guilliman.

Guilliman had the calmness of having soldiers to cover up the water and the earth. He did not think about the grand strategy that he should not think about as a clone. Instead, he stretched out his hand to the slaves in front: "Leave with us, maybe soon." There are a lot of human enemies occupying this place, and they will fill every vacancy in the iron ring, and sooner or later you will be swept away."

The slaves were completely unaware of Guilliman's words that "there will soon be very many enemies of humanity occupying this place", and they felt that this situation would last forever.

It is nothing more than that when the Iron Warriors gather their forces in the future, everyone will migrate to a certain sewer in the outer area.

So no one responded to Guilliman, but they thought that these guys were really crazy. The slaves wanted to leave the Eye of Terror, but the people outside sharpened their heads and rushed into the Eye of Terror and into the iron ring. I really don't know how to evaluate it.

"They have their own destiny." Horus turned and left.

Locke quickly followed and asked Horus: "Captain of the Thunder Warriors, should we continue to move towards the Skinless Ones now, or should we stop and return to our lives?"

"Forward." Horus replied without hesitation.

Of all the people present, only Horus and Magnus were the most aware of the current situation.

Both men knew very well that this operation, which was more of a wonderful journey than a sneak decapitation operation, was all arranged by the Emperor.

The psychic beacon that entered the iron ring was given by the Emperor, and he must have his reasons for arranging it this way.

It doesn't matter if you can't kill the War Blacksmith and the apparent mission failed.

As long as the emperor is satisfied.

Horus was thinking this, his eyes quietly falling on Perturabo.

"Sorry, brother."

After an unknown amount of time that was unique to the Eye of Terror, everyone arrived at the residence of the skinless monsters mentioned by the mortal slave leader.

The terrain environment here is relatively simple.

An endless plain of steel.

Above the head is an endless darkness, and the shadows of a large number of useless steel buildings crisscrossing the darkness like clouds.

"The skinless ones look very scary and weird, but they are not necessarily enemies, and they are not necessarily aggressive."

"If you can trust me, the next command will be handed over to me. Until we learn from the Skinless Ones that a certain position is the position of the unlucky war blacksmith, or if we can't get it, the plan will have to be scrapped."

Locke was as knowledgeable as Horus expected about all things related to the Chaos Fetal Sac.

Horus nodded and acquiesced to Locke's request.

Following the loyal Iron Warriors, the clone masters and the Dark Eldar walked towards the gloomy-looking settlement ahead.

What surprised the original clones was that in this eerie ghost place there was a throne made of armor fragments and scrap metal. On top of it was a throne made of iron blocks and steel bars. It could be seen that it was Personal stuff.

After seeing this thing, Locke walked into the settlement with confidence.

Seeing the appearance of this steel warrior, the ferocious things lurking in the shadows gradually emerged.

It was a large group of monsters that looked like skinned mutant space warriors, and the mutations were indescribably weird.

Facing these hostile monsters, Locke calmly took out an iron plate with the emperor's face from his storage backpack, and then the monsters gradually dropped their hostility and gathered around Locke and others.

"Skinless people." Locke said in the communication channel, "Every person who comes out of the Chaos fetal sac has no skin, and there are many failures among them. The failures will be discarded directly. These people we see are The losers who almost became part of the traitors.”

Horus looked at the rough statue: "The statue they built..."

"Yes, it is the Lord of Humanity." Locke nodded.

Horus was shocked by this response.

A group of ugly creatures, mutants, born from the twisted and vicious creation of the Chaos Womb, they actually have the same beliefs as the human empire.

It is impossible to imagine where these guys learned about the existence of the Emperor, and how they actually believed in the Emperor.

While others were in shock, Locke took off his storage backpack and shook out all the food, supplies, weapons and ammunition boxes inside to the Skinless Men.

"Why do you sympathize with these mutants so much?" Horus walked up to Locke and looked down at him.

Locke, after giving all the supplies he brought to the Skinless Men, raised his hand and took off his helmet.

A hideous, skinless face appears in front of others.
