'Whoosh'

I fired my arrow at that moment as the Kobold leader raised his head and let out a deep laugh.

'Plop' 'Puff'

The arrow hit the chest of the Kobold leader accurately, and it howled in pain. However, even though I hit its vital point and my arrow was full of powerful magic, I still couldn't kill it with one shot. This was expected, after all, it was a boss monster, and the distance between me and it was quite far.

'Ouch!'

The other kobolds turned their heads in confusion, trying to figure out what had just happened.

I was also confused for a moment. For some reason, this kobold glowed green, as if it was marked by something.

A thin green line connects me to the kobold, as if guiding its location. But now is not the time to stop. I must continue to attack before they react.

'Whoosh'

Before they could raise their guard, I fired another arrow, this time hitting the kobold leader in the shoulder.

'Ouch!'

Then I shot three arrows in succession.

'Swoosh, swoosh, swoosh'

The leader roared in pain, and the other kobolds fell into panic. Yet the arrows I shot seemed to follow the path of the green line, as if my body instinctively knew where to aim.

"What on earth is this?"

Many questions came to my mind, but now is not the time to think, but the time to fight.

Taking advantage of the surprise attack, I continued to rain arrows on the kobold leader, aiming specifically at its vital points. With each arrow hit, its health points gradually decreased. In just ten seconds, I fired five arrows, three of which hit the target.

The other two were deflected from their target as their leader leapt from his throne and instinctively sought cover.

The other kobolds began to scatter, confusion turning to fear. They looked for the source of the attack, but could not locate me.

After all, I was hiding in the shadows, so they couldn't see me at all. Every time I fired an arrow, I had to temporarily expose myself, which made it difficult for me to launch consecutive attacks without being detected.

“Ouch!”

"roar!"

"hiss!"

The roars and howls of the ogres filled the entire stronghold, and those ogres who were busy with glue training were also alarmed.

'Rustle'

They began searching the forest for their attacker, trying to find my scent with their noses. But their efforts were completely in vain. I had prepared for this situation by using perfume that would eliminate odors.

However, there was another interesting phenomenon that caught my attention. The kobold leader was hiding behind the hut, and my view was blocked.

But, after the last arrow hit, the little green lines connected again.

"Now I know for sure, I can mark the monster with an arrow."

I didn't have time to think about the reason for this phenomenon, because the kobolds were looking for me everywhere. Moreover, those green lines kept showing me the location of the kobold leader.

It remains where it is, probably trying to heal its wounds.

[Sprint]

I wasted no time and quickly found a position where I could clearly aim at the Kobold leader while activating my skills.

Under the protection of the shadows, my speed increased greatly. I found a place where my vision was not blocked by the hut, and the green lines connected me and the monster leader again.

At this moment, the injured Kobold leader fell to the ground, and I took out the last arrow from the quiver and put it on the bowstring. The green line still guided my target, and I concentrated all my magic power on this last arrow.

I catch my breath and keep my aim steady. The kobold leader's panting fills the air as it struggles to stay alive.

'Whoosh'

With a deep breath, I released the bowstring, and the arrow cut through the night sky, hitting the target accurately.

'Plop' 'Puff'

The arrow hit its target and pierced the head of the kobold leader, making a sickening sound.

'roar'

The leader monster let out a choking cry, and then fell silent. I could clearly see that the monster was dead and no longer had any life.

Seeing their leader fall, the other kobolds froze in fear. They saw their once powerful leader fall under my continuous attacks, and fear seized them.

What is the most primitive emotion for any living thing?

That is fear.

And at that moment, all the kobolds felt a fear they had never experienced before.

“Gurgle…” “Hiss…” “Ouch…”

After making terrified noises, the Kobolds tried to flee, running in all directions. But I couldn't let these monsters, who were about to become the source of my wealth, get away.

'Bang! Bang! Bang!'

I quickly drew my pistol and shot the remaining kobolds. The sound of the gunshot echoed through the forest, announcing the end of their lives and the beginning of mine.

At this point, there was no need to hide my whereabouts, because the first phase of the battle was over. Unless a stronger monster appeared in the depths of the forest, there would be no enemy that could threaten me.

'Bang! Bang! Bang!'

One by one, the kobolds fell to my gun. Soon, the forest returned to silence again, with only the sound of gunfire echoing in the air.

As the gunshots gradually faded, the forest fell into an eerie silence. The air was filled with a strong smell of blood, and the remaining kobolds realized that they had no way to escape.

Their once fearless leader now lay on the ground, and their fear turned to madness. The kobolds' roars and howls became louder, a madness filled with rage and despair that echoed throughout the camp.

Although this is a camp, not all kobolds live here. I noticed another group of kobolds came to join the battle.

I watched them bare their fangs, their eyes filled with anger. They knew they couldn't defeat me, but it was a life-or-death situation, and their survival instinct took over. They were willing to fight to the death, trying to overwhelm me with numbers.

"You are really good parents." I sneered. Some of the kobolds were standing in the back, trying to protect their cubs.

But this is just a futile act based on their instinct. Even if I don't kill them, sooner or later another hunter will come and finish my job.

"Then, if you have the guts, come on," I said. Somehow, my voice was even colder than usual, with a kind of frightening confidence and majesty that seemed to intimidate them for a brief moment.

'Whoosh! Whoosh!'

This brief pause was exactly what I needed. With a dagger in hand, I pounced on the nearest kobold. I activated the [Sprint] skill, greatly enhancing my speed and reaction.

The kobold lunged at me, but its attacks were clumsy and haphazard. I dodged its blows easily and swiftly stabbed my dagger into its chest, instantly killing it.

The other kobolds roared and charged at me. But I moved as fast as a shadow, deftly dodging their attacks and dispatching them one by one. My enhanced agility and reaction speed allowed me to easily predict their movements and strike back with deadly precision.

Their desperation only made me more determined. I was ready for this fight and would not be overwhelmed by a group of insane monsters.

My body completely obeyed my instincts. The battle at that moment seemed to put me into some strange state. My movements were swift and accurate, like a natural hunter born to kill.

'Bang! Bang!'

In close combat, I expertly switched between dagger and pistol, slaying the kobolds that charged at me with deadly accuracy. The sound of gunfire echoed through the camp, blending in with their desperate howls.

With each companion falling, the madness in their eyes became stronger and more ferocious. But it was all in vain. I am a hunter, born to hunt.

I am revenge born under the moon. The meaning of my existence is to destroy all the demons in this world. The reason for my survival is killing and revenge.

In the future, I will face increasingly powerful demons... There is no way I will be overwhelmed by such a group of insignificant monsters.

"Plop... plop... plop..."

One by one, the kobolds fell, until finally there was only silence. The once bustling camp was now a deadly graveyard filled with the corpses of defeated monsters.

"Ouch..."

'Scream!'

As the last kobold fell to the ground, a strong wind blew, bringing the smell of blood and corpses into the air... The moon seemed to be dyed red at that moment, as if it was stained with blood on the forest land.

Then the moon was obscured by a thick cloud, and my vision was obscured by shadows.

'Da Da Da'

Then, heavy rain began to pour down, soaking my clothes. This was a magic rain, and you can't stay in this rain for too long. Magic rain is a poisonous rainfall, and you must take protective measures in this weather.

“Hoo…Hoo…”

I stood among the fallen kobolds, gasping for air, my heart pounding from the battle. It had been a fierce and brutal fight, but in the end, I had emerged victorious.

"I'm so tired..." I murmured, and my heartbeat gradually calmed down.

With the threat gone, I took a moment to look around. The forest was silent again, but the air still smelled of blood and death. The battle was over.

However, my work is not yet done.

I put on the cloak I had prepared for just such a situation, listened to the sound of raindrops hitting the cloak, and began to gather up my spoils.

As I retrieved the arrows and wiped the blood off my dagger, I couldn't help but think of the strange green lines that connected me to the kobold leader. It was a mysterious power that I had never experienced before, but at the same time, I seemed to know how to use it instinctively, as if someone was guiding me.

"This should be related to the color of my magic. Is it because it is green?" I asked myself. But I couldn't get a definite answer, and at this moment I didn't want to delve into it any further. I needed to rest, not because of physical fatigue, but because of mental fatigue.

Of course, I was physically exhausted, but physical strength potions could cure that. But mental fatigue was another matter entirely.

Walking through the forest, I collected the bodies of the kobolds one by one, until only the corpse of the leader was left.

The Kobold Leader is taller and stronger than the other Kobolds, and his sharp claws and teeth show his status in the Kobold tribe. His body is covered with scars and marks of battle, which show the countless battles he has experienced in order to maintain his dominance and his multiple evolutions.

Its fur was dark brown, and its eyes, once filled with arrogance and cruelty, now stared blankly at the dark sky. I studied its body carefully, noting the differences between it and the other kobolds.

After completing this difficult task, I retreated to a dry area and set up a makeshift camp under a large tree. I sat by the campfire, the rain still pouring around me, and I finally had a chance to breathe.

The adrenaline from the battle had worn off and now exhaustion sat heavy on my shoulders. My muscles ached from the intense battle and my mind was filled with memories of the battle.

Normally in this situation I would drink a recovery potion, but now that all the monsters here have been cleared, I can try to restore myself with another thing.

I pulled out a small bottle from my backpack, which contained a potion I mixed myself to improve the efficiency of training.

'Gulu'

I drank the potion in one gulp, then sat on the ground, curled up, enduring the severe pain coming from all over my body.

"Well......"

After a few seconds, the effect of the potion gradually took effect and the pain began to ease.

I pulled some dry food from my backpack and began to eat to replenish my energy. The sound of raindrops hitting the leaves provided a relaxing rhythm, and even though I had just been through a carnage, I still felt a sense of calm.

I decided to take a short break before going deeper into the dungeon. The rain didn't seem to be stopping, and it was not wise to take risks in such weather. I crawled into the tent and tried to make myself comfortable.

Lying on the wet ground, I closed my eyes and let my body and brain rest. Just like that, the first day in the dungeon came to an end.
