The system says this:

[Side mission: Death Collector

Current progress: (5/7)

Mission reward: Medal ‘Eternal Tranquility’ x1]

But it was impossible for Hercule to tell Argos the specific number. He said: "Death cannot be measured in numbers."

Got a sneer:

"It's all empty words." Argos looked down at the chessboard, "Continue?"

The current situation is that Hercule knows that the energy that makes up this body will soon be exhausted, but Argos is worried that he will not be killed like before. Both of them want to delay time and find The other party's flaw made the atmosphere become harmonious again after the moment of crisis.

"Of course." Hercule said while holding his pipe, "I think playing chess is a good form of entertainment, and Batman in the conscious world also thinks so. When the two of us use it to kill time, I always have the higher winning rate—— He liked to carve his horses' ears into bat-ear shapes and use them to attack every time."

If you ask how he knew, it must have been leaked by another person in the conscious world.

Argos reflexively looked at the white knight on the chessboard, and then at his own black piece on the bottom line. According to the rules, when the pawn reaches the opponent's bottom line, it needs to be promoted to a 'Knight', 'Bishop', 'Rook' or 'Queen', so he stopped and thought for a moment.

But in fact, for a few seconds, when he saw the smile on Hercule's face, he felt hatred and anger burning from his non-existent heart to his throat, and he almost said "change a horse" without thinking, and this The pause is spent fighting against instinctive impulses.

After calming down for a while, he said: "After the change."

The Queen's chess piece can be moved horizontally, straight, or diagonally, and there is no limit on the number of squares. It is the most practical chess piece on the chessboard.

"What a pity." Hercule said with a smile, "I thought you were going to inherit his mantle."

He moved his soldiers forward one space.

"The Batman you created in the world of meaning can be regarded as a peer of the parallel universe." Argos said coldly, "He just experienced the same past as the person who died in the strange universe, but he is not the same person. It means they are the same person.”

Hercule shook his head: "If they are all exactly the same from name, appearance, DNA to experience, memory, personality, how can you determine that they are two different individuals?"

"The Batman of the Lostverse is dead."

"You don't even remember it," Hercule pointed out.

His green eyes flashed with a strange light, and he said to Argos in a comforting tone: "Maybe Batman's death is a hoax, and he just went to a very far away place. You see, there are all the people on earth in the 22nd century. There are 3 billion registered people, how many of them can tell how the golden age ended? ... Maybe the golden age did not end at all."

Argos looked at him steadily and asked: "Then who is lying?"

"It's history."

The chess piece landed in the center of the chessboard, and there was a crisp knocking sound. "As long as an erroneous record is eliminated, history will get back on track."

Argos laughed suddenly. He half-tilted his head and shoulders, and laughed harder and harder. He had to hold the edge of the table with his hands to stabilize his body. After a while, he finally controlled his laughter and said: "Are you crazy, friend, listen to what you are saying? You Encourage me to destroy the Yiwen universe, just for the sake of bullshit correctness! Before, you said that death cannot be measured by numbers, can it be judged by right and wrong? "

Hercule closed his eyes.

He took advantage of the fact that Argos was extremely angry and tried his best to control himself, and came to the mental world through the power of the pipe. To be honest, the process of the fight between Corgi and Maltese is not something ordinary people can imagine and understand. When his soul's feet stepped on the beach where the Sea Monkey was parked, there were only tornadoes, heavy rain and hurricanes all around. Nothing can be seen beyond the water dragon.

But he didn't need to do anything.

Hercule picked up the compass used to drive the Sea Monkey from the beach and approached the planet-disintegrating spacecraft shrouded in thick fog in the distance. He did not encounter any obstruction during this process. Those violent forces were unable to land on land, but were blocked by invisible barriers on the dark sea level. Hercule took the time to look into the depths of the ocean and felt that the water level in the 'Black Apple' had dropped a lot, as if it had been drained dry.

He climbed aboard the ship with perfect ease and placed the compass where it should be.

Then he did not stay and returned to the land decisively, wanting to watch around for a while in a safe area. But at this moment, a majestic voice came from behind him: "It's time for you to leave, Hercule Hugo."

Hercule turned around.

He raised his head, then raised his head again, and when he almost reached a 90-degree angle, he finally saw the face of the speaker. His tall and strong body was covered by a dark green cloak, and the hem was flying in the air, like a ghost magnified countless times.

In other words, he is the spokesperson of God codenamed 'Ghost'.

"Hello." Hercule greeted.

"Hello." The ghost responded to him without a smile, "Thank you for your help, but right now this is probably the most dangerous place in the universe. You should go back as soon as possible."

Hercule thought it was very strange, and said as if he was interviewing on the street: "Allow me to ask two questions and then leave. Does my death here mean that I am really dead?"

"uncertain."

The ghost answered him dryly, but had no intention of explaining in detail.

"The two sides fighting are the clones of two gods. Which side are you helping?"

"I am a neutral person," the ghost said, "responsible for preventing their battles from having an impact on the human world."

"You were here when I came last time?"

"No, I am here on earth to carry out the work entrusted to me by God." The ghost no longer cooperated, "Do you have any other questions?"

Hercule felt that he was facing the customer service of Heaven again: "Sorry, sir, this is the last question, 'Sea Monkey'... what role will the 'Ark to Heaven' spacecraft play on the battlefield between them? ?

The original spaceship has been destroyed by the Black Sun, and this one is actually my ship. When the Chairman met with me at that time, he mentioned Noah's Ark. I guess it was hinting that I was going to launch the ship. I hope I didn't misunderstand its riddle. Otherwise, how could Argos, the former colleague of the Chairman? It's not that I made you angry for no reason. "

"..." the ghost said, "First, we know this is your ship. Second, God usually does not use 'it' to refer to it. Third, what He does not say directly is not called a riddle. Fourth, you should not There is a strange feeling in front of me. Next is the answer to your question: No matter which side wins, the ship will come back to you with the loser's legacy, and it will be your business how you want to deal with it. "

Hercule was a little surprised.

The ghost asked: "It's time for you to leave. Do you have any other questions?"

"Yes." Hercule said as the other party felt increasingly intimidated. "That's right. As far as I know, the person who left the message on the Ark was Superman's son, Jonathan Kent Jr., but the following response ( 'Shit') and who wrote it?"

"Batman's biological son Damian Wayne, who spent his whole life fighting the League of Assassins, died in the year you came to the Strange Universe. Do you have any other questions?"

Hercule was shocked by the idea that Batman actually had a biological son, and then said: "No, thank you."

The ghost shut his mouth. He opened his dark green cloak. The cloak looked like a mountain from a distance in the continuous rain. The mountain collapsed towards Hercule. When he blinked again, he found that he was back in the pyramid.

——Argos took another pistol from nowhere, and now he was pressing the muzzle of the gun against Hercule's forehead.

"You're awake." After Hercule opened his eyes, he did not stop, but kept holding the trigger and said, "I think you are a little unscrupulous and don't seem to respect what I said."

Hercule: "You responded very well to my words."

Argos was not angry, but showed a look of pity again. He bent down and opened the safety, approached Hercule and whispered softly: "Morgan Stark is dead."

"Look, no matter how well you plan, there will always be victims."

After saying that, he looked carefully into the detective's eyes, and saw a flash of disbelief and pain in them with almost pleasure.

"She was going to die, so you don't have to be too sad."

He said hypocritically, "You gave her the core of the black apple, right? It is not something that humans can use in the first place. Just like the pipe in your hand, it carries the mark of death from the strange universe. Virginia· Ms. Potts... you prefer to call her Peppa. Ms. Peppa wanted to go with her, but Morgan did not agree. She embarked on the journey to the upside-down world planned by you alone, but the negative power of the mechanical heart was It tortures the user's spirit and takes away the last bit of life."

Hulk was expressionless inside.

Argos continued: "Of course, there was a lot of movement when the Black Apple Core 'opened', and Tony Stark, another genius of the 21st century, naturally noticed it. He opened it with Stark Industries' arc reactor. Xiaomen wanted to be a hero and help his family. I stopped him a little bit, but he didn't have time to arrive, so he could only watch his daughter with his own eyes..."

Hercule stood up suddenly, ignored the muzzle of the gun and punched Argos in the face. His face was crooked, his cheeks swollen quickly, he turned around and spat out blood.

Argos did not hesitate. Before he could stand still, he fired two shots at Hercule, once in the right arm and once in the right leg.

The pipe has bonuses to physical strength and agility. Hercule barely dodged the attack aimed at his knees, knocked it away while being shot in the arm, and punched Argos twice.

Argos was beaten a little dazed. Hercule quickly picked up the pistol and wanted to shoot, but found that there was no bullet in it. After a few silent breaths, Hercule threw the gun aside and said, "You make me sick."

Argos came back to his senses, distanced himself, and said something irrelevant: "Sure enough, as long as the wound is not fatal, it will be a hit."

Hercule stood up straight with his arms on the table, looking down at his opponent, and the blood running down his sleeves stained the white chess pieces next to him red.

Argos stood up and said indifferently: "This is the first time I see such a look on your face, my friend, it seems that you really regard Morgan Stark as a companion. But you want to destroy my world , I only killed one person you valued, so it’s still a loss for me.”

He glanced sideways at the chessboard and casually captured one of the opponent's pawns.

There are very few chess pieces left on the field.

Hercule said: "The power of the explosion of the Mechanical Heart is enough to shake the upside-down world away from the wall of origin, and when the 'sea' is evaporated from the mental world, you will no longer be able to find the binding of the embryo of the dark multiverse. The special energy that came back. The Black Sun and the Wind of the Void are hiding in the upside-down world, and the source of the power of stillness (the golden hourglass) is also in the upside-down world. I only have a little bit left in my hand, and I used it just now.

The Sixth Note is sealed in Arizona. Without Starro's cooperation, no one can get close. The whereabouts of the remaining two forces are unknown. "

In fact, Tears of Extinction is also turning the world upside down, and corresponds to Gotham, which also contains the corpse of the Joker, but Hercule is betting that Argos doesn't know this.

"The strange universe is bound to negative forces, and in the 21st century there are at most three of the seven left. After the cornerstone of ensuring coverage collapses, what do you rely on to turn the situation around?" Hercule moved the white chess on the chessboard to The previous one sent, "The king's chariot changes position, general."

To put it simply, the sixth note that was guarded by the Jarlo Starfish in Arizona in the past can give a relatively accurate indication of the overlap between the two timelines, and the Strange Universe relied on it to determine when to take action. However, after Constantine destroyed the ceremony and took Canluo away, both the Strange Universe and the 21st century could only rely on blindness to make decisions.

——What Hercule did was to pull out all the stops and solve the problem of the Dark Multiverse embryo once and for all.

Argos bowed his head.

He pointed at the white rook and said slowly: "This chess piece of yours is the result of promotion. The castling of the king's rook was canceled from the rules of chess in the 1970s."

He added: "You may not know, detective, over the years I have not only been making the 21st century cater to the Strange Universe, but I have also been making the Strange Universe become more like the 21st century. Otherwise, you would think that the world would be like those old people who are half buried in the earth." Why did this guy stay? Why did Asgard make a deal with the Earth and sign the Fire Bearer Pact? What else did the Fire Bearer Pact say besides the 'Doomsday' that cannot be leaked?"

"..."

"On the other hand, while Darkseid, Doomsday and other symbolic cosmic powerhouses died, some small characters moved forward with the same fate. For example, superheroes: we all know who Batman is. He became Batman will die one day in the future, and the time of death does not even have to be within a few years, because a hundred years is too insignificant for a universe. Batman can die today, die tomorrow, and die decades later. We are certain of death, so it is also a kind of overlap and coverage.”

Argos picked up the white piece on the chessboard and said with emotion: "Compared with the fate of the entire universe, individual human beings are so insignificant."

——Argos believed that macroscopic overlap was more important than microscopic details, so he killed the Dark Lord Darkseid at all costs, and other work was taken over by the Legend Society and Ark Pharmaceuticals.

It is difficult to say who is right and who is wrong. Unless someone compares the decimal point given by the sixth note, who knows whether his life or death will affect the rotation of the earth ten thousand years from now?

People always talk about the butterfly effect. How long will it take for the wind brought up by the butterfly's wings to start to show signs of it? How can the person who sees it connect the cause and effect between them?

Hercule was not sure either. He only said: "Since you believe you have a chance to win, why not start the last step immediately?"

Argos glanced at the time. The timer on the table kept moving forward during their conversation: "It's time. You can imagine the replacement between the two universes as a huge machine standing there. , we pull the lever... If the tram continues to move forward, then it means that I have failed, and the Strange Universe will die silently and coldly. But if the tram changes along with the track - "

He smiled, and he couldn't say how happy or proud he was, "Then we will survive, and the 21st century will come to an end in a few years without any solution."

Hercule said nothing.

Ever since he heard the news of Morgan's death, he had always had the same expression of disgust mixed with tiredness.

Argos pondered for a moment and added: "Neither you nor I have won this game of chess. Time is limited. Let me tell you one more thing. Among the seven negative forces, there is one that the Strange Universe has never come into contact with and used. But it's here in the 21st century and I'd better get rid of it."

Hercule looked up.

Argos: "'Faithlessness' symbolizes the evil, selfish and cruel nature in people's hearts. This power will be inspired when a person loses what he loves."

"It makes up your body, detective, so it's hard for me to imagine that you can restrain the violence, sexual and criminal instincts in your heart to this day. Have you ever thought about killing someone? Have you ever planned to destroy everything in front of you? Or is your spirit already in danger? What kind of horrible and abominable thing am I talking to today?"

His tone became extremely fierce as he spoke, and he rushed over and pushed Hercule to the ground, grabbing the detective's throat fiercely with both hands. Hercule did not give up resistance, and the two of them struggled on the ground. At the same time, Hibida, who was wrapped in chains, also struggled, and violent vibrations were heard in the pyramid.

A few minutes later, Argos pulled out a dagger and thrust it into Hercule's chest: "I could have killed you in another way. But, ahem, let's be more direct like this."

He held the handle of the dagger, pulled it out, and stabbed it hard again.

Hercule kicked over the table behind them, and the chessboard and chess pieces crashed onto Argos' back. Argos staggered, and Hercule raised the chessboard and slammed it on his head, directly breaking the solid board several centimeters thick into two pieces.

Argos, with blood on his head and face, knelt there and laughed loudly.

Hibida let out a high-pitched meow similar to the one he made when he saw Hercule beating his own body. It could only send small gadgets such as pipes out of the gaps in the chains, but it couldn't even extend its thicker tentacles. When it fought against the chains, the entire pyramid wall behind it shook.

Hercule heard the system's endless beeps.

He guessed that Batman and Iron Man in the conscious world were busy around the whiteboard, but he really didn't have time to see what they said through the system. In addition, the influence of the Egyptian gods and the curse of the apocalypse caused his inspiration to explode and his sanity to drop rapidly. The pain in his body and the loss of physical strength also made his consciousness gradually blur. He saw Argos's mouth moving, But it took a while to realize what he said through lip reading:

"See you in hell, detective."

Hercule suddenly woke up.

He took a deep breath and made sure he was still alive before looking around and finding that he was back in the conscious world. The light of Yggdrasil, the World Tree, covered his face, somewhat like the starlight at night.

Not sure if it was his illusion, Hercule felt that the luminous vortex representing the universe on the tree was larger than what he had seen before, like a ripe fruit, with a coveted vitality.

Sure enough, Batman and Iron Man were huddled around the whiteboard. After he woke up Tony asked: "How does it feel to die?"

Hercule touched his neck and chest: "It's very worth recalling."

Maybe Argos was right. His human body was really made of 'unbelief'. After leaving the physical body, Hercule's mind became much clearer. His inspiration was still active, but he didn't want to catch it. The urge to hit one's own head or someone else's head on the ground.

He went over the whole experience from the beginning and asked, "Excuse me, who can tell me who won?"

Batman didn't answer, which was normal, he wasn't a man of many words. However, Iron Man did not speak immediately, which was a bit unusual for Hercule. He thought about it for a while, apologized and said, "I'm very sorry about Morgan."

Talking about the subject brought an unfamiliar pang to him. Hercule is a person who is very good at reconciling with sorrow and pain, otherwise he would not have been able to live in the Strange Universe for so many years. He quickly rescued himself from the drowning-like feeling of suffocation and said to the relatives of the victim:

"Morgan and I just want to be an insurance policy. If I don't have the chance to go to the Upside Down, someone has to be able to get the mechanical heart and activate it."

Tony's eyes were unpredictable and he was silent for a while before saying, "Have you ever thought about this outcome?"

Hercule wanted to deny it, but before he could say anything, he changed to: "You know Morgan also agrees with my plan."

"What if she fails?"

"There's nothing we can do about it," Hercule said. "Success is originally made up of many coincidences. I'm sorry. I hope it's me who holds the Heart of Machinery."

Batman finally said the first sentence, and it was a long one: "After losing your anchor point, I'm afraid it will be difficult for you to return to the 21st century. Your body is not in the 21st century, nor is it in the Strange Universe. When you travel to the 21st century You use your excess energy to send it to a place where no one can find it. This means that others cannot save you, and you cannot take the initiative to escape. You will not die, but it is difficult to say that you are alive. You will become. Become a ghost floating in the world of consciousness. This is your imagination space and your dream, but you can never wake up from the dream.”

Eternal tranquility...

Hercule thought of the names of medals awarded by the system without physical objects, and felt a sense of emptiness in his heart. He felt that living like this (and being forced to live indefinitely) was worse than death, but he couldn't say it in front of his two friends, so he had to pretend it didn't matter: "I accept this result."

"Really?" Tony asked him, "Are you someone who succumbs to reality so easily?"

Hercule was a little frightened when facing him because of Morgan's death. He hesitated but did not dare to speak. As a result, Tony came over and hugged him, clenched his hands into fists and hammered his back hard and said: "Success is made up of many coincidences. Even if you and Argos take one step, it counts as a hundred steps." There are many things that people can’t expect.”

He couldn't help but laugh under Hercule's bewildered gaze, and his expression grew more cheerful as the detective grew increasingly annoyed:

"Morgan is not dead, Loki saved her!"

"Do you remember that Loki from the Lost Universe and Loki from the 21st century exchanged identities once? Loki from the Lost Universe has been imprisoned in Asgard, and Loki from the 21st century ran away to the Lost Universe, and then two times The connection between the lines has been severed, and no one can travel back and forth until the decisive battle..."

"What do you think Loki has in mind?"

Hercule said: "He never planned to go back. If Argos failed, he could replace his other self and stay in the 21st century."

"That's right." Tony sat back on the chair leisurely, handed over the goblet on the table, and said, "This is some wine I brewed, with ice cubes added, would you like to try it... 21 Of course Loki in the century did not want Argos to win, and he was more proactive than Loki in the alien universe. He told Odin in the 21st century that if the local Loki could not come back. Well, it’s best to let him die in the Strange Universe before the decisive battle, so as to reduce the coverage and thwart Argos’ conspiracy.”

Hercule was lost in emotion and cursed.

"It's despicable, but also very effective. The choices Odin can make are limited - if he kills Loki, Loki will also die with the end of the world in the Lost Universe in the 21st century. On the contrary, if he leaves behind Loki, Loki, find a way to kill the one he raised by his own hands, but you can use multiple sources of intelligence while reducing the overlap rate. "

Hercule asked: "But Loki in the 21st century is not dead?"

Tony: "This is one of the coincidences that you didn't expect. The God of Conspiracy in the 21st century used his silver tongue to trick Ark Pharmaceutical into trusting him. I heard that Loki had already cooperated with Chairman Dog. Rocky continued the partnership, resulting in the Maltese taking him with him to heaven."

Hercule never thought about it. He sighed: "I thought Loki only liked to use mischief magic and daggers."

"We all think so." Tony shrugged. "Maybe the greater the pressure, the greater the potential."

"Then what? When the directors were fighting in the mental world, he smuggled back into the 21st century?"

"Yes." Tony continued, "He originally wanted to go back to Asgard directly, but as you know, there was something wrong with the Rainbow Bridge. In the 21st century, Loki had to figure out the situation first, so he was stranded on Earth for a few hours.

During this time he met Morgan, who managed to convince her not to use the Heart of the Machine immediately until he could send a letter to Asgard in the name of his brother Thor. "

"The letter mentioned the importance of the mechanical heart."

Hercule realized something: "Is it strange that Loki was inspired so easily?"

Tony said: "If Loki wants to live in the 21st century for a long time, his background must be cleared. The Machine Heart is a good opportunity: he has magic and is not afraid of mental harm like ordinary people. On the other hand, being able to solve the Upside Down Universe is a huge achievement.”

After success, even if Loki admitted that he had used himself in the 21st century, Asgardians and Thor would not be able to condemn him for this.

In the eyes of the God of Conspiracy, this should be a very proud thing, worthy of careful planning and a small price.

But he also didn't expect that he would be the one who saw through his psychology and plotted his return.

Hercule was relieved - no matter what, hearing that Morgan was still alive and not dead in front of the Iron Man in the 21st century was something worth celebrating. He took some wine from Tony and asked, "How is Loki?"

"I don't know." Tony replied, "Loki in the 21st century waited for him to reach the depths of the Upside Down World and detonated the mechanical heart. Since then, the Upside Down World has been disconnected from here. Asgard may send people Let’s go find it, but we’ll have to wait until after the war.”

"After the war." Hercule pondered the word, "So the 21st century has won? Argos pulled the lever of the trolley problem, but the direction of the trolley did not change?"

Tony laughed sincerely again, and Hercule came to the conclusion without him opening his mouth: Argos had failed.

Batman came over and held down Hercule's shoulder, holding a goblet filled with water, and clinked glasses with the two of them one by one.

An atmosphere that couldn't be described as cheerful but very gratifying lingered in the dim room, as if people who had traveled a long distance crowded into a wooden house that was heated by firewood after a snowstorm and got a long-lost rest. The ground outside the house was still frosty and the sky was already dark. It's getting sunny.

After Batman drank all the water, he said: "A slight mistake can lead to a huge mistake. Argos thought that the macroscopic world line was still moving forward as he imagined, but in fact the fate of countless people has changed."

Only the names that impressed him: Harley Quinn, Riddler, Two-Face...

Or even a 21st century Batman.

Perhaps Argos thought that human life was fleeting and that even unbearable tragedies were not worth mentioning. He ignored the struggles and struggles of ordinary people and could only see those things that threatened him.

But that’s not how the universe works.

It takes 400 billion tiny stars to light up one Milky Way.

Hercule drank the wine in one gulp and breathed another sigh of relief. He couldn't guarantee that he was right until the last moment, and Argos was even more so. The two of them just forced themselves out of their fearless shells to confront each other in the pyramid.

But speaking of Argos.

Hercule said: "Argos has another lie. In that chess game, he never thought of letting any side survive. I guess the base station of Brother Eye in the Strange Universe has been destroyed, and he is not going to do it in the chess game." Rebuilding for the 21st Century.”

Tony asked strangely: "How do you know?"

"There is more or less a useless tacit understanding between us."

Hercule twitched the corner of his mouth, "He came to the 21st century as a desperate effort to drain the resources of the Strange Universe. The Brother Eye of the 21st century was destroyed by Superman a long time ago, and this time Argos smashed it with his own hands. Coming down most of the satellite - he left no way out."

Hercules had a feeling that Argos was much less confident than he seemed.

Perhaps the detective was on the opposite side of him, and he knew his former companion.

Perhaps in the last few years, the Paranormal Universe had become seriously ill and difficult to heal.

Or perhaps the rules of the world were actually like this: people who acted against morality, ethics, humanity, and laws were somehow perceived as the opposite of the public. It was not Hercules Hugo who betrayed the Paranormal Universe, but Argos.

In short, he said that no matter what happened in the outside world or whoever won on the chessboard would survive, he was actually ready to kill Hercules and then guard the Paranormal Universe until it lost its last bit of warmth.

For an artificial AI, was there anything worth caring about in that wrong world?

Perhaps there was, but it just didn't conform to the common sense.

So this is the ending--

Hercules leaned back in his chair and closed his eyes, recalling the past few decades that he had a vague impression of. It seemed as if he saw him and several non-human guys in the Universe playing cards around a stone table on a cliff. The game of cards was endless and lasted for more than half a century.

Finally, the robot ran out of cards.

He looked at his empty palms and sighed, saying: "It seems that I lost. Today's card game ends here. It's nice to meet you."

The dog next to the stone table seemed very happy. It said: "I tried my best, friends. If we have the opportunity to meet again many years later, you must remember that we have fought for the same goal. This is rare, and it makes our connection closer than that of relatives and lovers. In addition, there is a saying that people often say that makes sense: it is not the result that is important, but the process of hard work."

The clown on the other side wanted to say something.

Hercule spoke first:

"I don't think there is a winner among us."

The dog and the robot looked at him gently and encouragingly. The space above the waves was so quiet, as if all the great achievements in the world were stranded here.

Hercule continued: "But I have always believed that I am on the right path. This is the only thing I can do."

The robot said: "That's enough."

The dog also said: "It's enough and fair."

Hercule looked at them: "So, is it over?"

"It's over." The robot stood up with the table and said, "Goodbye, everyone, we will have a chance to get together again in the future."

"Goodbye." The dog shook his tail and straightened up, "Companions are rare, I hope we will have a chance to meet again."

Hercule followed and stood up, saying only a short sentence: "Goodbye."

Then they bathed in the same sunshine, walked from the majestic cliff to the green hillside. The stormy waves were left behind, and everyone left in completely different directions.

I hope that the end of the road will be filled with what they want.
