The Wind and the Eagle Wings at Hogwarts

Chapter 8 008. Invitation to Adventure Birthday Gift

"Why did you two get up so early today?" Scott looked at Fred and George inquiringly, "Unless... you didn't sleep last night?"

"We have slept enough during the summer vacation! And the great adventure is calling us!" Fred saluted strangely.

George raised his head "proudly", "Mr. Trollope, who has been absent from adventure activities for a whole year, will not understand this truth."

"But I support you, don't I?" Scott pointed to the brass monocular telescope in Fred's hand.

"This is just your Christmas gift last year!" Fred shortened the telescope and put it in the pocket of his robe.

"It can't let us see the annoying old Filch in advance when we wander around the castle at night." George also took out an identical telescope from his pocket and shook it, "We can only use it to observe what Percy is doing secretly."

"Maybe he wants to ambush under the Ravenclaw Tower and kill a few competitors unexpectedly." Fred guessed.

George's eyes widened in horror, "This way he can ensure that he will become the head of the student union smoothly in the seventh grade!"

Scott couldn't help laughing when he heard it.

"Maybe he will choose to kill you two annoying brothers first." He said.

"Oh, Percy must have thought so more than once." George blinked.

Fred continued: "He wants to be the Minister of Magic, and we may become his future stain."

"He thinks that as long as the stain is removed..."

"...he can become a pure and flawless Minister of Magic!"

The two talked about strange things and laughed again.

After laughing, Fred suddenly said with a serious face: "We want to tell you, Scott."

"Welcome to join us again in the new school year." George also put on a serious look.

Scott was a little surprised. He only met the twins in a few night outings in the first and second grades, and they hid from the pursuit of the janitor Filch together. And last school year he was immersed in research and did not go out at night.

Unexpectedly, the twins regarded him as a night outing partner.

"Maybe?" Scott smiled and said uncertainly.

"Let's just say it. If you have any new discoveries, you must tell us."

"Goodbye!"

The twins thought that he had agreed to it, and ran away with a smile.

Scott shook his head and walked through the foyer into the auditorium.

He sat at the long table and read a book for a while, and then food appeared on the table.

It was time for breakfast.

He put the book aside, took a glass of milk, some sausages and bacon, a sunny-side-up egg, and a soda bread. Then he began to enjoy his breakfast slowly.

When Scott was about to finish eating, his three roommates appeared at the long table.

"Scott, why did you get up so early?" Roger yawned and sat next to Scott.

"Maybe I got used to it during the summer vacation." Scott said, "I followed my parents' schedule during the summer vacation."

"You know, Scott, something big happened last night when we didn't know." Eddie tore the bread into pieces and put it into his mouth, while lowering his voice and mumbling.

"What's the matter?"

Scott drank the milk in the cup in one breath and put down the cup in his hand.

"You know, at the beginning of the school year, freshmen always go back later than us because they have to learn to recognize the way. So we missed this incident last night!"

Eddie was obviously very sorry that he didn't get the first-hand news, but he still told Scott excitedly: "Last night, when Cooper and Taylor led the freshmen to climb the spiral staircase of Ravenclaw Tower, a freshman boy pushed a girl down the stairs."

When Scott heard this, he immediately thought of something, so he asked him: "Is the girl okay?"

"It's okay, Cooper used the levitation spell on her in time." Eddie said with a smile, "Anyway, the boy who pushed people caused public outrage. He was kicked out of the dormitory by his roommates and slept in the common room for a night. He was sent back by Penelope in the morning."

So that's it.

Scott understood that the boy was Jacob Kent.

But...he always felt that the boy's behavior didn't seem to be courageous enough to push his classmates down the stairs.

But Penelope had already handled the matter. Scott thought she would handle it better than Cooper and Taylor.

So he quickly dropped the matter.

"I need to talk to Professor Flitwick, so I'll go to the Charms classroom first." Scott picked up the book on the table and stood up. "See you in class later, Roger, Milton."

"I'll go with you, Scott!"

Roger stood up with a book in his arms and a sandwich in his hand.

"I need to ask the professor to cancel my divination class."

"Then let's go together." Scott had no objection.

The two of them walked against the flow of students who entered the auditorium one after another, all the way to the Charms classroom on the fourth floor of the main castle.

Scott pushed open the door of the classroom, and sure enough, Professor Flitwick was already standing on the pile of books next to the podium.

Professor Flitwick always came to the classroom in advance to watch every student arrive.

"Good morning, Professor Flitwick."

Scott and Roger greeted respectfully.

"Good morning! Scott, Roger!" Professor Flitwick responded cordially. He has part of the goblin blood, which makes him very short and his voice is very sharp.

"Professor..."

Roger stepped forward first and explained his request to Professor Flitwick.

Professor Flitwick did not object after hearing what Roger said. He smiled and said, "This is normal, Roger. I think students can allocate their time reasonably, and it is also a good idea to rationally give up some topics that are destined to be fruitless. The embodiment of wisdom.”

"Thank you, Professor!"

Roger was delighted that he had been recognized by Professor Flitwick.

"Then your Divination class will be canceled this school year. I will explain it to Professor Trelawney."

Professor Flitwick nodded and looked at Scott again.

"Do you have something to tell me too? Scott."

"Of course." Scott stepped forward and smiled confidently, "I can't wait to show you a result, so I came to the classroom early. This is also an early birthday gift to you."

"birthday present?"

Professor Flitwick screamed excitedly. Although his birthday on October 17th is still more than a month away, but what the heck!

"Oh! I love birthday gifts! What are you waiting for? Mr. Trollope!" He couldn't help but look forward to it.

"I'll show you right now!"

Scott reached into the deformed lizard skin bag on his waist and took out an oil painting that was almost as tall as him.

Professor Flitwick smiled. He could see that Scott's deformed lizard pocket was just a disguise. It was clearly blessed with a traceless stretching spell to hold such a large thing, but he did not expose it.

He just looked expectantly at the oil painting covered by a white cloth in front of him.

"Could it be that... Mr. Trollope, you taught yourself magic painting?" Professor Flitwick rubbed his hands.

"It's not a magic painting."

Scott reached out and pulled the white cloth.

"Although I only used Muggle painting techniques, I feel that this painting can better demonstrate my achievements than magic paintings."

After saying that, he pulled off the white cloth.

"oh!!!"

Looking at the oil painting suddenly displayed in front of him, Professor Flitwick's eyes widened for a moment, and he suddenly let out a high-pitched scream and fell off the stack of books.

Roger quickly went to help him, but Professor Flitwick didn't care about it. He climbed up from the ground and walked quickly to the painting, raising his head and watching obsessively.

"Oh...it's true...it's incredible..."

He kept exclamating from his mouth.

Scott looked at Professor Flitwick's reaction and couldn't help but smile smugly, "Professor, are you satisfied with this birthday gift?"

"Satisfied, so satisfied!"

Professor Flitwick nodded repeatedly, with a smile on his face.
