The Wind and the Eagle Wings at Hogwarts
Chapter 112 112. The Founder's Ancient Music Room
"Sorry to bother you."
Scott said politely to Ms. Grey.
"I want to ask you if you know about the oath that is hidden and running in Hogwarts Castle now."
"Oath?"
Ms. Grey's eyes flashed, as if she remembered something.
But she quickly shook her head, "Sorry, I don't know, what oath do you mean?"
Scott quickly recounted what happened to the Classical Music Club and Milton from last semester to now.
"So many things happened?"
From Ms. Grey's reaction, she did not seem to know what happened.
But Scott could understand that this ghost lady usually looked immersed in her own thoughts and rarely paid attention to things in the school.
"Organ..." Ms. Grey pondered for a few seconds, "I know where it is."
Scott quickly asked her, "Please tell me."
Ms. Grey's eyes became indifferent again, she looked at Scott, "You want to help your friend?"
"Yes." Scott nodded.
"I didn't expect you to be willing to do this." Ms. Grey seemed a little surprised.
Scott felt a little strange, Ms. Grey said as if she knew him very well.
"I've observed you, Trollope." Ms. Grey said directly, "I often observe Ravenclaw students."
Scott smiled helplessly, "Well, generally speaking, I really don't want to meddle in other people's affairs."
Ms. Grey asked again: "Because Graves is your best friend?"
"One of the best friends." Scott said with a smile.
"I understand." Ms. Grey nodded gently.
Scott didn't know what she understood, but continued to look at her with a pleading look.
"That's an old music room." Ms. Grey said, "It is said that it existed before Hogwarts Castle became a school, and the four founders had used that music room."
She turned and looked out the window again.
"They used to play their favorite music together when they were happy, and the organ is Slytherin's favorite instrument."
Is it related to Slytherin again?
Scott suddenly felt that this matter might be more troublesome than he thought.
"Did you back off?" Ms. Grey didn't turn around, but asked coldly, "After hearing that the sound of the organ might be related to Slytherin."
"That's not the case. Professor Flitwick told me that the oath was signed by Ms. Ravenclaw and someone." Scott replied.
"Yes." Ms. Grey's voice became a little ethereal, "You can be afraid of Slytherin, but you should trust Ravenclaw."
Scott said, "So I will go to the music room to have a look, and please tell me its entrance."
Ms. Grey was silent for a while, and said softly, "Its entrance is not inside the castle."
Not inside? Scott raised his eyebrows slightly.
"The big rock that grows on the cliff under the viaduct leading to the hall." Ms. Grey continued, "Maybe you can find the entrance there."
"Thank you."
Scott hurriedly thanked him.
Although he couldn't understand, it was just a music room, what was the point of making it so mysterious.
"No need to thank me, because I don't know if there is a secret order or mechanism at the entrance, so you may not be able to get in at all." Ms. Grey poured a basin of cold water on him.
"..."
The smile on Scott's face became a little forced, but he thanked her again.
Then, he asked about Peeves' disappearance.
"The last time I saw Peeves was at Sir Nicholas's death anniversary dinner." Ms. Grey said coldly, "It's a good thing that he disappeared. No one likes him."
"... I just wonder if there is a connection between these two things." Scott said softly.
"Maybe." Ms. Grey turned her head and looked at him again, "I wish you good luck."
After that, she put on a posture of not wanting to communicate anymore.
Scott always felt that she might have known something, but he couldn't force her to communicate again.
So, he thanked her again and left.
Pushing open the door of the common room, Scott found Jacob standing by the wall on one side of the door.
"You seem to be troubled again." Jacob turned his head and looked at him.
"Indeed." Scott nodded.
During the new semester, he had not talked to Jacob privately.
As for Travers, both of them tacitly kept silent.
Scott knew that Jacob must have some guesses about Travers' death.
But he was not worried about what the smart Jacob would say.
This was not because Scott believed this kid, but because he knew that this kid was just guessing and he had no evidence.
Scott was also confident that he would not dare to offend himself.
At least not now.
"Is it because of Graves?" Jacob asked, "I heard that he fainted yesterday."
Scott nodded again, Milton's fainting was not a secret.
Jacob asked again: "Is there anything I can help with?"
"No, thank you." Scott looked at him a few more times.
Jacob smiled, "If you need it, I'm happy to help."
Scott could see that this kid was trying to show his goodwill.
So he looked at Jacob again and finally nodded, "Okay."
A day passed, and Scott and his friends returned to the dormitory and began to talk about their gains.
"Sorry, I didn't get anything here." Roger shrugged his shoulders, "Nick, who is almost headless, and the fat monk have no idea about this matter."
Eddie said a little unhappy: "The Bloody Baron should know something, but he always refuses to reveal it."
This is probably one of the rare failures he encountered in getting information, which made him look a little frustrated and depressed.
The two looked at Scott.
Scott told all the information he got from Ms. Grey.
"As for Peeves," he said, "Fred and George don't know more than us."
"That's good!"
Eddie was a little excited.
"At least we already know the location of the entrance to the music room...although it's a little weird..."
"It's weird!" Roger emphasized.
Obviously, the two of them also felt that the location of the entrance was too weird.
After all, it was just a music room, not a secret room that needed to be hidden.
"When are we going there to take a look?" Roger asked.
Eddie looked a little worried, "...are we really going?"
"What are you talking about?" Roger looked at him, "Didn't we agree to help Milton find his music together?"
"I just think...we should be more careful." Eddie said, "Maybe we should find more helpers, or ask the professor for help."
"Don't worry, there won't be any danger."
Scott explained.
"Since Ms. Grey didn't stop us and even took the initiative to provide clues, the worst result of our action is nothing."
"Okay."
Eddie agreed.
After all, Ms. Grey has always been very caring towards Ravenclaw students.
"In that case, it's decided."
Scott made the final decision.
"We will act together this Sunday."
