The Urban Dao Child

After the sound echoed throughout the immortal plane, the spiritual avatar of Yang Dao's soul opened its eyes and smiled in the direction of the demon realm.

While in the sky above the red moon sect, Dao Yin's soul avatar opened its eyes and smiled while looking in the direction of the sovereign sect.

The two dao children now had a connection that was stronger than ever. After a few seconds, the avatars vanished and the clouds in the sky also began to scatter, leaving the elders confused.

Yang Dao took a deep breath and after exhaling it he stood up from the ground and mumbled, "The whole body is numb, how long have I been sitting for."

He circulated the spiritual energy to regain his senses and shake off the dust on his body and walked out of the room. The peak of the nascent soul realm allowed him to be able to sense everyone on the whole planet. He was like a network of satellites. That said, the boy had already come to the gates of the Cloud Palace.

He could sense everyone looking at him with curious gazes. He asked in a calm voice, "Why are you all gazing at me like I am some wicked animal?"

Sun Eckhart and the elders appeared beside him and asked, "Dao, what about the tribulation?"

Yang Dao was surprised, and then he cast his gaze on the sky and found the dark clouds dispersing away. He said, "Master if I remember correctly, tribulation arrives when someone steps into the Ascended mortal realm, correct?"

The sect master nodded and Yang Dao said, "Then I have only stepped at the peak of Nascent soul realm. I have yet to break through to another realm."

Sun Eckhart nodded and put his beating heart back inside his stomach. He had panicked at the sudden change in the surroundings. That said, Sun Eckhart recalled something and said, "Happy birthday."

Yang Dao was surprised and then he sighed, "I fell into that state for a year."

Sun Eckhart nodded, he said, "Your sister is here."

Yang Dao replied, "I know, I would like to be with her."

Then he vanished from his spot and appeared behind Yue Jing. He was now as tall as her shoulders. He gently placed his palms to cover her eyes and asked, "Who am I?"

His voice surprised everyone standing around the two cousins, however, they settled down quickly as well. Yue Jing sighed and said, "Dao."

Yang Dao took away his palms and smiled as he came to stand in front of her. Yue Jing hugged him tightly and whispered, "Heavens I missed you cheeky brat."

Yang Dao smiled and said, "I was lost in contemplation so could not miss you, but I never forgot you."

Yue Jing shook her head at his remark. The two parted the hug and the girl wished him a happy birthday. After almost a year, Yue Jing had stepped into the peak of the golden core realm. The other people also followed her lead and wished Yang Dao a happy birthday.

Yang Dao held Yue Jing's hand and said, "I will treat you all later, for now, I want to spend time with my sister. Is that okay?"

Who was going to say no to him when he asked them so politely. The two people came back to the cloud palace and Yue Jing said, "Dao, you seem somewhat different."

Yang Dao just smiled and asked, "How do you mean?"

Yue Jing fell into thought when Alisha said, "She means your temperament, Young Master. You give off a vibe as if you are disconnected from the world."

Yang Dao smiled and said, "It is just you all who are not yet connected to the truth. However, the truth of cultivation is for you to discover on your own. Many people mean many truths."

The two girls were surprised and nodded. Just the demeanor of talking had undergone such a change. Yue Jing suddenly asked, "Why did you not call everyone else?"

Yang Dao replied, "Because I cannot yet take them all back home with my current power."

The two ladies were surprised and confused when the Dao Child said, "Can you help me now, Zenyin."

The bracelet on his hand shivered and a gentle spiritual essence covered them all, then Yang Dao thought about the scene and location of his home and they vanished.

Yue Ling was sitting inside her room with a sullen face, today was her son's birthday, but she had not heard anything from him in one year. She did not wish for him to be there for the birthday of the old people, and ever herself, but she wanted him to have a birthday for him.

The whole family was like this, sullen and gloomy. Suddenly a hoarse voice sounded, "Who dares to trespass in the domain of the Yang Family."

This sentence alerted the whole family. A calm voice replied, "Big gramps, is that how are you gonna welcome me? Shall I go back to the sect?"

The voice echoed throughout the mansion, and Yue Ling stood up from her chair in a shock. The face she has been waiting to see for so long was finally in her sight. Yang Dao was standing at the door of her gate with Yue Jing and Alisha.

The two girls were shocked, to see that the boy was able to teleport through stars on his own. Yue Ling was about to say something when Yang Dao walked closer to her and pecked her cheek, and said, "I am back mum."

Yue Ling hugged him tight in her embrace. Yang Dao also enjoyed this warmth from her. By the time the two separated, the whole family was standing outside Yue Ling's room, Mulan walked over with her cane, it was just a symbolic thing she did not need it.

She caressed Yang Dao's face and said, "Happy birthday my treasure."

The boy hugged her as well. The family reunited in joy and relish. They feasted. While back on the Sovereign sect, Sun Eckhart was getting fidgety to find his disciple missing.

Red Moon Sect was the same, Dao Yin was attending to a personage higher than anyone in the demon realm. Elmo, the demon supreme. This guy was here for the birthday of his darling niece. Dao Yin had also turned twelve, and he would never miss her birthday.

He sat in front of the girl, who practiced sword, with great joy. As the sword dance came to an end, he clapped his hands. He said, "Yin, you have grown up so much, even the sword skills have reached the pinnacle."

Dao Yin smiled faintly and said, "It is because I met Yang. He is such a wonderful wielder, his movements, his wits, everything is a notch higher than the rest. Tato materialized behind him in a blink. He has been Dao Yin's guardian, but never did he come forward. He was not needed to. Tato said, "Elmo, that young man is as if the counterpart of our princess. His skills are on par with the princess. He is a genius loved by the heavens, just like the princess."

Elmo was shocked to the point where he became numb. He asked, "What do you think, will he be a hindrance to Dao Yin's growth?"

Tato sighed and said, "They both support each other in such a manner that despite being the opposite, they grow, and they have a good relationship. That child surely is not your ordinary person."

Elmo nodded and said, "Then we shall go meet him. What do you think?"

Tato nodded, "I do not mind meeting him officially. I have always had a hunch that he can perceive my presence."

Elmo nodded and said, "Go prepare decent gifts for this Yang. I want to see what big thing he is to charm my niece like this."

Tato shook his head as he knew, this will only lead to Elmo ending up with a frown. Elmo was jumping into a tribulation at this moment.
