The Urban Dao Child

Yang Dao moved up from the front, while Dao Yin moved to the back of the silhouette. However, they could not get to their goal so easily. The human and demon geniuses had all gathered up. They were going to be the obstacles in the way.

Yang Dao had expected this and so did Dao Yin, the two did not waste their time and began to fight these people. These people were slower and weaker than the two of them. While Yang Dao was facing the demon geniuses, Dao Yin faced the humans.

They were unstoppable. Their swords moved in tandem as if a painter used a brush to cast strokes and create a masterpiece. They only attacked the people with the intent to knock them out. The efficiency was scary fast.

They took a couple of hours to reach the front and the back wall of the city in just a few minutes. Yang Dao looked behind him to check if someone was still left. He found no one and condensing his azure wings the boy flew up in the sky, facing the hazy silhouette. Dao Yin was standing behind the silhouette.

Yang Dao spoke first, "Who are you?"

The silhouette replied in a monotonous voice, "I am Zen. The spirit of The Heavenly Dao Palace, and the Guardian of the City Of Zen."

Dao Yin asked, "What do you want from all of us?"

"Nothing, all I seek is the return of my master." replied the shadow.

"Who is your master?" asked Yang Dao. They did not sense any intent to kill from the shadow thus they did not mind asking her things as long as she was willing to talk.

Zen replied after her silhouette shook, "My masters are those who can control the elements on their fingers. They can change the ways of the world on a whim. They are opposite to each other yet they are meant to stay together forever. They always grow and improve, they know that change is the only constant but they adapt without ever changing their roots. Do you know who is my master?"

Dao Yin and Yang Dao replied, "Yin and Yang."

Zen's silhouette shook and Yang Dao continued speaking, "The dao is ever-changing but it never changes."

"The Dao always grows yet it stays the same," said Dao Yin.

The two people gradually lost themselves in preaching the Dao. Zen heard them speaking and did not interrupt. Slowly the haze condensed around her body and began to clear up. The process was slow but it seemed as if time outside the walls of the city of zen had come to a stop. Yang Dao and Dao Yin were reciting whatever came to their minds, however, it was enough to create the Dao Resonance.

This resonance was enough to cure Zen of her hysteria that the Dao Children did not exist. What they did not know was that inside the city a lot of stone statues began to wake up. The people inside the city were asleep, they were covered with millennium thick layers of dust, almost becoming stones. The Dao resonance broke that dust and woke them awake.

Soon they all began to gather in the center of the city where Zen had been resting ever since the city was divided from the Heavenly Dao Palace. As the people began to wake up, Zen also began to heal.

Inside the Heavenly Dao Palace, the four familiars stood up and Feng Yun said, "To think they found such an easy solution."

Ryu Jinshi smiled and said, "It is good that they found such a chance, otherwise, Zen might have been their end."

Laohu Bai nodded and said, "It is time we go and help them."

Atsuji Kurogame said, "Girls, you all clean this place or we will be in trouble."

Kiya, Mika, Lisa, and Athena did not understand what they meant but nodded regardless.

Atsuji Kurogame waved his hand and the four people vanished from their spots.

In the sky above the City Of Zen. Yang Dao and Dao Yin were preaching Dao when four portals appeared around them. The people in the city below could see the movement in the sky. They looked at each other and could tell that someone really powerful has arrived.

Suddenly a calm voice sounded, "I have seen the four Heavenly Spirits."

The four people bowed to the center of the city and said, "We have seen Sister Zen."

Yang Dao and Dao Yin were still preaching, they were not affected by anything around them. The voice sounded again, "Who are these children? How can they affect us all?"

Feng Yun smiled and said, "Did you forget what the masters promised you before they left?"

Atsuji Kurogame said, "Girl Zen, the two standing in front of you are none other than the reincarnations of our masters. The Dao Child of Heavens, Yang Dao. The Dao Child of Hell, Dao Yin."

"But why do they not recognize me?" asked the calm voice again.

Laohu Bai replied, "They were able to come through after countless trials. In the mortal world, they decided to not have any memory when they come to the immortal realm. They had us seal those memories. At this moment, we are just someone familiar to them. However, do not worry, the day when they will recognize you is not far away."

Ryu Jinshi said, "Zen, you have waited for so long, knowing your personality, I can guess that you want to stay here until the both of them become their original self. However, do you really want to give up the chance to see them grow better than they were in the past?"

Zen did not speak, but the people gathered in the city could also hear all this and they began to whisper. Suddenly one of the people knelt on the ground and bowed his head in the direction where Yang Dao and Dao Yin were preaching the great dao.

The old man said, "I have seen the masters."

His action triggered a chain reaction, the people all began to bow down and hailed the two children. As the two people preached, the dao resonance strengthened and it began to heal Zen.

In the center of the city, there was a stool, as the time passed, a figure began to condense on the stool. It started with a hazy shadow, it looked like a toddler. Feng Yun, Laohu Bai, Ryu Jinshi, and Atsuji Kurogame also began to preach Dao like the two children.

The figure on the stool began to condense faster. The shadow gradually solidified. In front of everyone appeared a young woman, wearing a violet robe with the eight trigrams symbol on the back.

The young woman was comparable to Feng Yun and Laohu Bai in beauty. She had long black hair reaching the floor as she stood up. The silhouette condensed in the void had vanished upon her materialization. She raised her head and looked at the two children in the void. Feng Yun stopped muttering and said, "Welcome back, Lady Zen."

"Lady Zen, welcome back." said the other three.

Zen nodded and bowed her head, she said, "Thank you, Your Excellencies."

The people in the city all bowed to Zen and said, "Greetings, your grace."

Zen had a faint smile on her face and nodded as she replied, "Please rise everyone."

Yang Dao and Dao Yin were slowly becoming silent. Feng Yun said, "Erase the memories of the other participants, Eldest."

Atsuji Kurogame nodded and with a wave of his hand things were done. Zen flew up in the sky and came to stand between Yang Dao and Dao Yin. She knelt in the void and said, "I have seen you, Master, Mistress."

Then she stood up and took off two bangles from her hands, "Can I give them something before we leave?"

Ryu Jinshi nodded with a smile. Lady Zen walked up to Yang Dao and placed a bangle in his hand, and blow her breath on the bangle. She said, "The crown of hell."

Then she went to Dao Yin and did the same thing and she said, "The crown of heaven."

Laohu Bai said, "Sister Zen, giving away your two aids right off the bat. Are you vying for the masters with us all?"

Lady Zen smiled and said, "They look so lovely at this age, I could not help myself. I hope to be by their side. These crowns can help me do that."

Atsuji Kurogame said, "Let us send them back, and then we shall leave."

The people nodded and then with a wave of his hand, Atsuji Kurogame sent everyone back to the place they belonged to.

While Yang Dao appeared back inside his room in the cloud palace, and Dao Yin appeared in the Red Moon Sect. A magnificent city appeared in the sea of stars, surrounding the Heavenly Dao Palace.

Mika, Kiya, Lisa, and Athena were shocked when they saw this. Behind them appeared five figures. The four girls were mesmerized by the fifth figure but they quickly bowed and said, "Welcome back, masters."

Feng Yun said, "Girls, this is Lady Zen."
