The Urban Dao Child

Yang Shan heard what Yang Tian said and before saying anything else, he turned to the crew and said, "Leave this region at the full speed. Do not give me any technical reason, just move."

The crew had never seen Yang Shan so flustered, they all reacted quickly and controlled the ship to move. They did not bother to turn the ship around and moved it forward at the full speed. After they had cleared the region, they thought Yang Shan would relax, but the man said, "Move back to the domain, be quick."

The crew adhered to the command and moved the ship back in the direction of Yang Domain. By the reactions of Yang Shan, the calmest person, they predicted that something big must have happened. After the ship began to move back in the direction of the domain, things calmed down a bit.

Yang Shan came to stand in front of Yang Tian and asked, "What did you find over there Tian."

Tian and the rest have recovered a little by now. The young man replied, "They have an army of Daemons, Sebastian and Mei discovered a patrol. They called all of us, upon getting closer we discovered the place to be lingering with Daemons. They have at the least five saint level daemons, that is the reason we all got so flusttered."

Yang Shan sensed a chill run through his body. He asked, "How do you know they have five saint level Daemons?"

Sibastian replied, "We all were attacked by a mental attack, however, the Daemons inside our minds were different." his voice shivered as he narrated the scene.

Yang Shan sighed and said, "We will have to report this to the elders and also the neighboring families. I wonder how they will react, did you record the colony on the imaging stone?"

The youngsters nodded and Yang Shan let out a breath, this recording will be crucial in convincing the neighboring families. The problem was not a small one, it was going to be a war. Hunting down Daemons meant merit, when someone killed a Daemon, they will accumulate the aura of a Daemon slayer. This aura can help people in the core region of the immortal plain where the strong resided.

Thinking about all sort of possibilities, Yang Shan became busy and the space ship moved through the starry sky.

It took them a whole day to finish the trip. The location of the planet was where Yang Dao mentioned. It was not a accurate one, but he pointed out the general direction and the point that it was a barren planet. After the ship came back to the domain, Yang Shan made a beeline to report the discovery to the elders. He was going to explain it all to them.

When the elders heard this they immediately became unsettled. Suddenly they heard an old voice, "Can you all calm down? Growing up so much, yet you all cannot gain control of your emotions. Dissappointments."

The people shivered and they alls stood up, even the patriarch of the Yang Family stood up from his chair and bowed towards the entrance of the gathering hall. He said, "Greetings Uncle Ji."

The person who appeared in the center of the Gathering Hall was their uncle, Yang Ji. The old man had sharp eyes, a long beard and he wore a cassock over his body. He said, "Your father and the others are in seclusion, however, I heard all this so I came to check. Now tell me what have you discovered."

This old man was one of the pillars of strength in the Yang Family. He, like the other elders in seclusion was at the peak of immortal soul realm. As strong as Sun Eckhart. However, Yang Family never took more than what they needed, so as soon as the younger generation was strong enough they will hand over the family leadership to them and go to a secluded planet to cultivate in silence.

Yang Shan stepped forward and respectfully told Yang Ji everything. The latter fell into thought, after a few minutes he said, "Call over Yang Dao. Let me see what skills this kid have."

The family elders would have resisted if it was someone else the elder had called for, but Yang Dao was someone they did not need to worry about. Upon the command, Yang Shan ran to find his son, and only to see the boy chuckling and walking with his Fiancee. The two seemed to be enjoying their time together.

Yang Shan coughed and walked over. He made the noise to make sure that his son is not caught doing anything he should not do in front of him. Yang Dao heard his voice and asked, "Did you find anything?"

Yang Shan nodded and told him what happened on the planet. Yang Dao turned solemn and said, "I will be sending messages to Yue Overlord and my master. We need all the help that we can."

Yang Shan thought his son was being extra careful and tried to dissuade him, saying that only one party is enough to aid them, however, when he heard Yang Dao say, "Do you think those Daemons are sitting on just one planet? What if they occupied even more so barren planets? Will the Yang Family or any other family be able to kill them all?"

His words made Yang Shan speechless, the man nodded and said, "Let us go to the Gathering Hall."

Yang Dao nodded and after tell Athena to pass his message to Alisha and his mother, they were to contact the sect and the Yue Overlord, immediately and secretly, he left with his father.

After the two people came inside the gathering hall. Yang Dao found that the big grandpa was not sitting on the chair of the patriarch but standing next to it. The person sitting on the chair was Yang Ji. He furrowed his brows and asked, "Big gramps, who might this be?"

The man replied, "He is your great grand uncle Dao. You should call him granduncle Ji."

Yang Dao nodded and asked, "Was granducle Ji the patriarch of the family before he went to that secluded place?" he was aware of the family customs, as his great grandfather was present when he was born.

His question made the people shiver, they were afraid that Yang Ji might burst up, however, the old man said, "Why do you ask that?"

Yang Dao replied, "Family rules, only a Patriarch is allowed to sit on the throne of the patriarch."

Yang Ji nodded and said, "I was not the patriarch, however, I am the supreme elder at the moment, according to the laws of the family I can sit here."

Yang Dao nodded, and the old man asked, "So they say that you are some genius, I wonder if it is on the grounds of your talent to question your elders."

"You are wrong, it is on the grounds that I am a ten years old, and I am half a step away from Nascent soul realm. Other achievements are enough to make you shocked, but that is not good for old age so let us skip that." replied the Dao Child.

Yang Dao nodded and said, "Some of my friends from the sect will also come, we will be taking part in the clear up as well. And this is not up for negotiation. I can deal with a saint level Daemon already."

His words shocked the people, but recalling what Athena had told them, this news was true, this boy did have such skills. Yang Dao did not speak much after this and let the old people work things up. After the meeting was finished he came out of the Gathering hall only to find Xiao family elders waiting in the guest room.

He walked over to see the situation and found a young man rapping his mouth in front of his mother and grandmother. Since the men of the house were busy, the ladies had came forward to deal with it.

He came over and ignoring the young man with a flushed face, he asked, "Grandma, what is going on?"

Mulan sighed and replied, "They say they will only listen to a man."

Yang Dao nodded and turned to look at the barking Youngman and said, "Shut up."

His words were like a thunderclap in their ears. Yang Dao looked at the old man sitting on the couch, "Speak, why have you come here? Before you accuse me of being mannerless, look at your younger generation first. Also, if you are seeking an apology from my family, believe me given my mood, I will beat the shit out of you all right away."

He did not talk, he threatened. Mulan was surprised and said in a low voice, "Ling, is this his rebellious age?"
