The rise of great powers: starting from military industry
Chapter 871 Collaborative development of fighter jets?
On the second day of the Chinese New Year.
Liu Tao accompanied his wife back to her parents' home with his children.
Zhu Lin's mother has retired, and Zhu Lin's father will retire in a few years.
Zhu Lin bought a quadrangle courtyard for them to live in. At first, they were reluctant to live there, but later they began to move into the quadrangle courtyard.
The original dormitory was too small, and there was often no room to sit during festivals.
The quadrangle courtyard covers an area of about 300 square meters, and the space is still good.
The two old people live in the main house, the wing rooms are used as guest rooms, the south room is used as a living room, and a study room is built next to the main house.
The two old people planted some flowers and plants in the yard and built a bathtub for fish.
The arrival of Liu Tao and his friends made the quadrangle courtyard full of vitality.
During the Spring Festival holiday, Liu Tao was not relaxed, and he had a lot to do.
Going back to Beijing, it was the New Year again, so it was inevitable to go to the leaders to pay New Year's greetings.
This is etiquette.
After the Spring Festival holiday, Liu Tao and his friends returned to the headquarters of Panshan Group.
After dealing with some things, Liu Tao set off for Guifei Group a few days later.
The ‘Haidongqing’ unmanned reconnaissance aircraft has been developed.
The next step is to carry out a series of tests, and he needs to give technical instructions to the team.
Liu Tao printed out 5 copies of the complete set of information on the ‘Haidongqing’ unmanned reconnaissance aircraft.
The identity of the team, during the Spring Festival, the relevant departments once again conducted a strict political review to ensure that spies or those who failed the political review were excluded.
This is also based on the confidentiality system to prevent leaks.
In terms of confidentiality, Panshan Group has always done a good job.
For example, the performance data of the Type 80 main battle tank that Eagle Sauce and Polar Bear can obtain are all from the export version of the Type 80 main battle tank, and the same is true for other tanks and armored vehicles.
The only tanks and armored vehicles produced by Panshan Group that they can obtain are export versions.
As for the self-use version, it is still confidential, and none has been exported.
The location of the tanks and armored vehicles is tracked at all times.
Liu Tao arranged to manufacture three prototypes of the ‘Haidongqing’ unmanned reconnaissance aircraft at the Guifei Group, so that there would be four prototypes of the ‘Haidongqing’ unmanned reconnaissance aircraft for a series of tests.
After the technical briefing, the production tasks were arranged.
Liu Tao happened to see another batch of aircraft delivered to the Air Force.
At present, the production line of the Guifei Group can produce 48 J-10 fighters, 48 J-11 fighters, 100 J-7 series fighters, 100 Eagle advanced trainer aircraft, 100 laser helicopters, and 10 ‘Sea Eagle’ fighters per year.
Starting from this year, this output will be maintained for the next three years. Three years later, that is, in 1997, as the pulse production line is put into production and on track, the production capacity of the J-10 fighter and the J-11 fighter will usher in an explosion.
According to this year's production task, 48 J-10 fighters, 24 are foreign trade versions, delivered to overseas orders, and 24 are self-use versions, delivered to the Air Force. Logically, Guifei Group should produce foreign trade versions for export, but Chengfei is less efficient and not as well-funded as Guifei Group, so that this year, the production of J-10 fighters has barely reached 24, and the production capacity is only half of Guifei Group.
And this is still supported by Guifei Group, otherwise the production capacity would be even lower.
The Air Force is now retiring all J-5 fighters and retiring a large number of J-6 fighters, especially those J-6 fighters that have been in service for a long time. It plans to retire all J-6 fighters in the next few years, and urgently needs a large number of advanced third-generation fighters.
In this regard, Guifei Group naturally needs to deliver half of its production capacity to the Air Force.
Moreover, for the Air Force, the most important purchase of Guifei Group can be on credit. When the money is offset at the end of the year, it will be added to the original amount and no need to pay.
It's nothing more than quarreling with the relevant departments every year. Anyway, this has been the case for so many years, and I'm used to it.
Thick-skinned people don't get enough, thin-skinned people don't get anything.
If Panshan Group didn't need to deliver to customers according to the contract agreement and maintain its credit, the Air Force would have liked Panshan Group to produce all the self-use versions and then give them to the Air Force.
As for the J-11 fighter, all 48 aircraft produced this year will be delivered to the Air Force. On average, the monthly output can reach 4 aircraft. As a high-end fighter among high-end and low-end, the excellent performance of the J-11 fighter makes the Air Force very satisfied.
The J-7 series fighters mainly produce the second-generation and a half J-7 modified fighters and the J-7A advanced trainer, as well as modernize the original J-7 fighters.
The Eagle advanced trainer is a complete advanced trainer and the flagship product of Panshan Group's export trainer aircraft. Even some countries that are reluctant to spend huge sums of money to buy third-generation fighters will buy the Eagle advanced trainer as their own air force's third-generation fighter and participate in the battle.
Even European countries have shown interest in the Eagle advanced trainer and are currently in contact.
The main reason for this is the super high cost-effectiveness of the Eagle advanced trainer, which even European countries are tempted.
For other countries, let alone.
For example, Pakistan purchased 50 Eagle advanced trainers to enhance its air force.
Now the military strength between India and Pakistan has long been a decline, and the military strength of both sides is basically equal, but the Indian army is not only the Pakistani army as an opponent, which gives the Pakistani army an advantage against the Pakistani army.
Especially now that the Pakistani army has caught up with the navy and army, the only one that is lacking is the Indian army.
Compared to the Indian army, which has a steady stream of Indians making money in Europe and the United States and sending it back to India, and India's willingness to invest heavily in the military, and to purchase advanced weapons and equipment even when it owes a large amount of debt, the Indian air force has even surpassed a few years ago and reached a new peak.
This forced the Pakistani army to introduce more air defense missile systems and strengthen the construction of the air force to maintain the balance of the situation between the two sides.
Pakistan is a poor country, and the funds behind it come from the assistance of Islamic brothers, but this assistance is relatively limited, and the speed of purchasing arms will be slower.
The advanced weapons that Pakistan can import are Panshan Group.
Pakistan even proposed that it hopes to develop a high-quality and low-cost fighter for Pakistan.
For this reason, Pakistan is willing to pay a research and development fee.
There is no way. Pakistan's military expenditure is limited. Although the J-10 and J-11 fighters are good, they are too expensive, and Pakistan really can't afford it.
Unfortunately, the research and development fee that Pakistan is willing to pay is too little, and Panshan Group is a little bit disappointed. Now the two sides are still negotiating. Panshan Group does not refuse Pakistan's request, but hopes that Pakistan will pay more money.
In Liu Tao's opinion, if the J-10 fighter is expensive, then buy the J-7 or J-8 fighter. For the friendship between the two countries, even the original J-7 or J-8 fighter can be exported. It is even possible to directly fly the active J-7 or J-8 fighter to the Pakistani Air Force Base and deliver it to the Pakistani Air Force.
It is not impossible to develop a brand new aircraft, but Pakistan must pay enough development fees, because this is not just a fighter produced by Guizhou Aircraft Group, but also a production line must be established for Pakistan so that Pakistan can produce this fighter by itself.
