Gregor Clegane, though a second incarnation, was experiencing marriage for the first time.

There were no festive decorations as he remembered, not even lanterns or the ubiquitous red 'double happiness' characters.

No church or septon chanting blessings.

Nor could it be described as a city-wide celebration.

As with the engagement, Janei's mother was notably absent from the guest list. Janei and Gregor would hold another, more intimate family wedding when they returned to Casterly Rock.

This was a civilized era where merchants held little status. Agriculture, industry, and commerce were all lowly pursuits; soldiers and nobles were the most esteemed and respected.

Ordinary commoners were even lower.

This was an era where a noble could take a fancy to a peasant girl on the road and satisfy his lust without consequence, his guards standing by with swords drawn to protect their lord.

Gregor himself was one of the best of this breed. His reputation was such that his name alone could cure children's night terrors. In the border regions of the Westerlands, Riverlands, and Reach, women always carried black ash, ready to smear themselves into ugliness if the Mountain and his men patrolled nearby.

The wedding feast, hosted by Lord Tywin, began at noon and stretched into the night.

Dozens of chefs worked tirelessly in shifts before a variety of pots and pans.

Hundreds of servants weaved among the tables, carrying wine barrels, bread, and bacon soup. Plates were cleared away and replaced with fresh, laden platters.

Forks, knives, and chopsticks were all in use.

Because Lord Tywin promoted the use of chopsticks, most nobles and knights were happy to oblige, using only chopsticks.

In any case, these lords had servants aplenty to do the cutting for them.

If the Casterly Rock servants were not accustomed to it, the lords used their squires.

Every lord had his own personal squire.

With everything done for them, using chopsticks posed no problem.

While Tywin Lannister's eldest son Jaime, eldest daughter Cersei, and youngest son Tyrion were attending a lively banquet in Winterfell in the North, the wedding feast in Casterly Rock was also boisterous and bustling.

Many knights and lords had already drunk themselves senseless and been carried away.

Several brawls broke out over perceived slights during toasts, and these individuals were invariably subdued by Tywin's master-at-arms, Bronn, and his guards. Those who resisted were soundly beaten and tossed into the nearest ditch.

Amidst the general laughter, the ruffled lords sobered up in the ditch, were helped out by their squires, and retreated to the inn to change clothes and clean themselves.

Ser Gregor Clegane and Miss Janei sat together.

As night fell, the sound of '闹房' (Nao Fang - wedding chamber revelry) gongs rang out, and a hired band of musicians played suggestive tunes from the second-floor balcony. A swarm of lords and ladies surged from the outdoor banquet area into the luxurious main hall.

Lord Tywin sat silently at the head of the long table, his face like ice, attended by his servants.

The Lord was always like this, but today was special, a joyous occasion. People had also drunk a lot of wine and no longer paid attention to Lord Tywin's expression.

Gregor had participated in many such wedding chamber revelries. The groom would be stripped bare by the ladies and groped from head to toe, then, amidst their raucous laughter, dragged, pushed, prodded, touched, and grabbed all the way into the bridal chamber.

And the bride would be treated similarly.

These lords and knights were all graduates of the school of depravity, and Miss Janei's fair skin would not be spared many scratches, befitting her first transformation of identity.

Countless lecherous hands would paw at Miss Janei's entire body.

This was the custom of this world.

The more boisterous the revelry, the more blissful the marriage.

Undoubtedly, this was a very backward and barbaric custom, but it was a favorite of both men and women, and the liveliest part of the wedding process: chamber revelry!

But in fact, this would cause varying degrees of injury to the bride and groom, especially the delicate flower-like bride. Whether you were a great lord or a minor knight, as long as you were a man, you were part of the ill-intentioned pack of beasts.

After entering the bridal chamber, the revelers would not leave, but would press the bride and groom together and continue the raucous fun. This was the real climax of the chamber revelry, the peak of the guests' revelry.

Janei watched the crowd rushing towards her like a tidal wave, her face paling in terror. In the blink of an eye, the silk and satin she wore would be reduced to scattered fragments, and other than desperately protecting her chest with her hands, Janei would have no way to protect herself.

This was a festival for men and women to unleash their primal instincts, but a nightmare for all brides and grooms.

Needless to say, among the women rushing to the front were the obese matrons. Among the men, the brothers of House Charlton, led by Ser Addam Charlton, who had been beaten by the Mountain several times, were in the lead.

This was a day when the Seven Gods allowed men to indulge themselves with the bride, and also a day for young lords with ulterior motives to take advantage and seek revenge. For example, Addam Charlton, who was eager to make Janei his mistress, could take advantage of the chamber revelry to 'do whatever he wanted' to Janei.

Gregor Clegane chuckled softly to Janei, who was pale with fright, "Don't be afraid, I'm here." He stood up, raised the table in front of him with both hands, and gently pushed it towards the women who were giggling like madmen. The tidal wave crashed against it like a wave hitting a boulder, and then receded.

Dozens of women were forcibly knocked down, and those behind them collided, crowding together, shouting in pain, shouting to let go, shouting not to step on them, and cursing each other, much to Gregor's amusement.

On the other side, the Charlton brothers and knights from Silverhill, and the brothers and knights from Chickensong, more than twenty people in total, rushed to the front, pouncing on Janei as if a pack of wolves were tearing at a pitiful little lamb.

Gregor lightly picked up Janei with one hand, as if an adult was picking up a child. He took a step back, retreating a great distance, then stepped forward and kicked out, squarely hitting Addam Charlton in the chest.

Addam Charlton was knocked back by an irresistible force, the bones in his chest cracking. He crashed violently into those behind him, causing a large group of knights to fall down with a thud. The momentum of the wave of lords and knights surging forward was immediately blocked.

"Don't be afraid, stand here," Gregor said softly to Miss Janei.

He put Janei down, strode forward, and with one punch, knocked out Lylar Crakehall, nicknamed 'Big Pig'. Then he grabbed a sturdy knight and threw him directly towards the doorway. With a bang, the knight arced through the air and crashed into the crowd, sending the lords who wanted to rush to Janei sprawling on the ground.
