Hogwarts' Little Superman - Chapter 011 【The Room of Requirement】
Keli's first week was obviously nothing special. Although in the eyes of others, he was already a "legend," as a Superman—this was obviously not a real "achievement"!
Prefect Percy's first week was definitely not pleasant:
Before school even started, Gryffindor had forty-five points deducted. The next day, Keli miraculously made up forty points. On the third and fourth days, Keli magically earned more than a dozen points, not only making up for the deducted points but even having a slight surplus.
But by Friday, everything seemed to be back to square one. Percy really wanted to use an [Alohomora] to open Keli's brain and see what was inside.
Friday night was quiet. Hermione was alone in the Gryffindor girls' common room studying. This week had been a nightmare for her. She had always been very confident in her learning ability until she met Keli—how could a fragile human brain compare to Superman's steel body?
At this time, Keli quietly arrived on the fourth floor—a hellhound about ten meters long was snoring in its sleep. As soon as Keli wanted to approach it, the hellhound instantly opened its eyes.
"Woof…" The hellhound was warning him.
Keli said softly, "Come on, let me tell you who's the boss here!"
Keli took off his wizard robe, revealing a red and blue Superman suit—the huge S letter was shining on his chest!
"Both my left and right hands can lift seventeen tons of things, which means my maximum lifting strength should be around thirty-four tons. So it looks like, hellhound, you should be much weaker than me!" Keli said to the hellhound.
The hellhound strained, rattling the chains, and instantly pounced towards Keli. Its six eyes, like six gas stoves, shone with red light.
Keli raised his fist and punched the hellhound's middle head, right on the bridge of its nose due to the height difference.
"Crack…" Keli heard the sound of the hellhound's nasal bone shattering.
The hellhound not only showed no fear but instead raised its other two heads and bit at Keli.
Its head was larger in diameter than Keli's height. With its massive mouth, swallowing Keli whole wouldn't be a problem. A burst of attacks—Keli was captured by the head on the left. His hands and feet were supporting himself between the upper and lower jawbones.
The stench from the hellhound's mouth was simply earth-shattering…
After a few minutes of confrontation, the hellhound finally relaxed, or perhaps the pain in its nasal bone finally made it afraid.
The hellhound clearly showed a look of fear. It seemed that these low-level animals all followed one rule—"bully the weak and fear the strong!"
If you are more powerful than it, it will quickly admit defeat. This behavior occurs in almost all vertebrates—invertebrates don't have enough nerve endings to support such complex neurological reactions; otherwise, Keli guessed they would be the same.
Keli jumped out of the hellhound's mouth, facing the hellhound and backing away: "Little doggy, I'll come see you again next time!"
The hellhound didn't move. The middle head had blood and tears flowing from its nose, emitting a whimper. The heads on both sides were also baring their teeth, wishing they could eat him on the spot.
Tonight's test was over. Keli roughly tested his thirty-four-ton lifting strength. His actual combat power was about one and one-fifth of a hellhound—slightly stronger than a hellhound, but not to the point of "crushing."
Keli hadn't fought so happily in a long, long time. After the battle, he felt much happier.
"Next is to go to that room…" Keli muttered to himself, then walked towards the location of the Room of Requirement.
Ghosts occasionally walked past on the walls, but as the floors increased, the number of ghosts decreased. Above the seventh floor, Keli didn't see any more ghosts.
"Hogwarts Castle, eighth floor…" Keli searched: "I remember there seems to be a troll decoration… Damn it! Merlin's beard! Why does Hogwarts, with less than a thousand people, have so many rooms? Such a big, big castle?"
Hogwarts is very large, with a total area equivalent to two or three football fields, and an average height of more than five floors. This resulted in Hogwarts having huge rooms and a large number of them…
According to Keli's estimation, it could at least accommodate five thousand people without any pressure! This is equivalent to the sum of all wizards in the entire British magical world! If it were squeezed a little more, it could even raise all the scaled house-elves and magical creatures within the UK.
Because it was too big, this is also why there were so many "secret passages." In fact, those so-called secret passages were created by previous wizards for some purpose, perhaps for convenience in attending classes, or perhaps to find a place to rest, and then they privately opened up a "small road" with magic.
Keli spent more than ten minutes finally finding the entrance to the Room of Requirement in a corridor on the eighth floor.
He found the tapestry on the wall—"Barnabas the Barmy is trying to teach trolls ballet," to be honest, this tapestry was really abstract…
Keli silently recited in his heart: "I need a spell laboratory! I need a spell laboratory! I need a spell laboratory!…"
As he recited, his body wandered in the corridor. When he walked for the third time, a door suddenly appeared on the wall.
The door appeared so suddenly that Keli almost dropped the wand in his hand.
Keli opened the door and walked in. The scene inside was astonishing.
A room the size of a basketball court was filled with countless faceless dummies. The bodies of these dummies were lifelike, giving him a creepy sense of horror.
The dummies here did come in all sizes, from tall to short, and some were even spinning in the air… If Keli could cast spells, this would indeed be an excellent "spell laboratory," but unfortunately, the laboratory Keli wanted was not like this…
Keli twisted his lips. It seemed that the Room of Requirement was not as omnipotent as written in the original book. At best, it was just an [Artificial Intelligence], like Xiao Ai.
Keli walked out of the room and once again silently recited: "I need a place to learn spells, with books, a place, and preferably a teacher!"
After three times like this, the door appeared again.
【Hopefully, this time it can meet my needs!】 Keli opened the door and walked in.
