The Emperor’s Angel of Death

Chapter 509: A brewing storm

"The words of the Black Heart King are true and false, the Astral Knight's Soshyan is never that simple."

Kayang didn't bother to open his eyes to see Amural. The servants were helping him remove his armor piece by piece, moving around him while muttering with a mechanical voice.

They don't like being close to themselves, Kayang can tell.

Whenever he approaches, they move like restrained animals.

He can't blame them, because he also doesn't like the strong subspace smell on his body. All this comes from his pet, a subspace demon lynx, Nagua.

Now it is shrinking in the corner, licking her paw.

This room is very large, the floor is polished chalk, the walls are brushed metal, and the light comes from a sphere suspended in a copper cage.

The red fabric softens the hard lines of the wall and covers it on the straight-backed chair. Some statues of unknown meaning stand at the back of the room. The appearance of each statue has a straightforward style.

In the warship life that Kayang has experienced, this place can be said to be quite luxurious.

When the servants took off the armor of his torso, Kayang felt the cool air in the room touch his skin.

His armor is light blue and black. The Prospero symbols made of flat gold threads are intertwined on the surface of the plate armor. A bright crown is stretched out on the front of the breastplate, and the colored crown surrounds his helmet. This is a standard thousand-child helmet.

A blasting pistol and a dagger hung around his waist, and their grips were decorated with mirror coins.

Under his carapace, black tattoos and bizarre symbols crisscross the surface of the muscles in the form of geometric lines. This is the mark left by the infamous "red letter" spell on his body. Almost every thousand wizards have it.

His amber skin clearly shows his identity as the son of Prospello, the crescent-shaped Magnus eye spreads over his neck and shoulders, and a full moon is hidden between the muscles.

This last imprint shows that he is a Kah Shekhan war gang

The identity of the leader, this is a group of wizards who pledge to serve Abaddon.

Many small scars ran across his arms, back and chest, cutting his skin like hair.

These are the marks left by wild wolves on him back then.

Kayang stretched his shoulders, his muscles agitated and the skin rippled.

"Do you disagree with my analysis?"

The sting of the skin told Kayang that Teremanon was staring straight at him.

   "Huron lied about this war."

   Masked Prince grinned.

"His reasons and motives are his own business, and our purpose is above truth and falsehood."

   Amural nodded.

"I have blocked all eyes and ears that may be eavesdropping, and we can speak frankly and openly."

"I was speaking frankly, brother, Huron told the truth, at least in part. He has exhausted his means when facing the astral knight, or is close to his trump card. One can't even solve the Terrorist Demon Army. The fallen enemy shouldn't be an unknown captain."

"If everything is what it looks like, then there is no need for us to come."

The last part of the armor was also removed, and Kayang felt the fibers of a blouse slip across his neck.

"But I still regret taking this job, it is very risky."

A sudden scratch made the two of them turn around.

Teremmanon is moving, and every step he takes is like a slight movement in a completely still state.

A silver mask completely covers his head. The symbols engraved on the metal are incomprehensible to most people. Even mortals will feel extremely painful just by looking at them. A device similar to a lock fixes the mask on The back of his head.

Then, a pair of hands were exposed from Teremanong's hand armor. Their fingers were withered and twisted, as if they had been broken and healed without resetting.

His right hand is holding a silver-clad wax board, and his left index finger is covered with a long metal spike.

After paused for a while, he poked the spike toward the wax board, tilted his head back, and moved his hands like a puppet.

   [Here has been tapped]

The letters chiseled out clearly appeared on the wax board, Kayang stopped, and the room fell into a completely still state again.

Amural stared at the masked prince first, then the writing on the wax tablets.

"Over there?"

Teremanon's hand twitched and came back to life again, scribbling words on the wax board.

[The servant on the left of Kayang]

Amural opened his mouth, and a question formed on the tip of his tongue.

While Kayang turned his head abruptly, the index and middle fingers of his right hand were brought together and pressed on the servant's forehead.

Three seconds later, the machine servant shrank his body, as if awakened by a sudden noise from his dream, his arms began to tremble.

"A mark was put on about a day ago."

After speaking, Kayang took his finger back, and the servant returned to his original state of motionlessness.

"It seems that Huron has a pretty good wizard."

Teremanon let out a low laugh, but to his surprise, Kayang shook his head.

"It's not Huron, it's another person. His imprint is not to eavesdrop on us. He wants to meet us."

   "Meet?"

   Amural asked in surprise:

"Another self-defeating careerist? Hasn't Huron's **** methods made them behave."

   "No."

Kayang said, closing his eyes slightly, recalling the remaining information of the mark.

"He wants to talk to us about the astral knights."

   "Oh, interesting."

The masked prince is obviously very interested in this matter.

"Who is he?"

"The opponent did not leave a name, but called himself the Phantom Warrior."

"I haven't heard of this name. Have you decided to meet them?"

  "Yes~www.readwn.com~ Ka Yang nodded.

"Just two days later, let's see what this Phantom Warrior can tell us."

On Huron's side, after sending away the envoy of the Black Legion, Huron began to prepare for another important thing.

"How are you preparing for the skull harvest?"

Hearing the voice from the shadow of the throne, Kerkus quickly lowered his head to answer.

"Already basically ready, various candidates have also arrived in New Badab, but there are a few people in it that are uneasy."

"As long as you don't go too far, just ignore them."

   "Yes, Lord."

After answering, Kerkus bent down again as if thinking of something.

"Master, there is an unexpected factor."

   "What is it."

"In addition to the candidates on the original list, there is another newcomer who will also participate in the skull harvest. That person...I'm not sure whether to let him go."

"What's his name?"

"The man was called Hong Suo, from the Iron Warrior, but I heard that their legion did not accept him and called him a bastard."

"Ha, Hong Suo, I have heard of this man."

The tyrant gave out a harsh laugh.

"Let him participate, maybe he will bring us some surprises."

"Yes, then I will do it now."
