The Deep Sea Wizard of Hogwarts
Chapter 111: Adding and Deducting Points
Uh…
Well, Jane’s answer left him speechless.
“I really can’t think of what to fill in!”
“Can’t we just write down the things he talks about every day?” Linde smiled.
“Uh, I feel uncomfortable.” Jane spread her hands, looking indifferent.
“Okay!” While they were talking, they went to the lounge. There were still many people from other grades in the lounge. They didn’t have classes this afternoon.
After saying goodbye to Jane, Linde returned to the dormitory. He picked up the box from his bedside and put it on the ground. After simply unlocking the combination lock, he opened it.
There was a deep hole in the box, like a well, and there was also a ladder hanging on it. Linde stepped in carefully, walked down a little bit, and then closed the box again.
Below was a small space of about ten square meters. Several lanterns hung on the ceiling provided a dim warm light here.
On the left side of the small room, there was a double row of hangers and a shoe and sock cabinet. In addition to various types of casual clothes hanging on it, there was also his suit and many robes. They are all black with gold patterns. The only difference is the pattern.
On the other side, right opposite to Lind, there is a hammock where he can rest. But these do not take up too much space here.
The main part of the room is still a bookcase and table and chair close to the right wall. The bookcase is densely packed with cabinets divided by subject, and then neatly arranged in order of size.
At the same time, one of the cabinets is also filled with quills of different sizes, various inks and other stationery.
Unlike these neat places, there are piles of miscellaneous items on the table, or not just the table, but even on the chair.
He didn't plan to rest or sleep here this time. When he was at Hogwarts, this room was actually more of a suitcase. After all, there are lounges and libraries during the day. At night, he can go to the Room of Requirement.
And it's a bit inappropriate to have such a box at school. He doesn't want others to know about this box.
The main function of this place is outside Hogwarts.
This time Lind came to simply clean up those miscellaneous items. He bought this box the day before he came here, and he didn't finish packing it even after a whole night. Linde is a person who doesn't like to procrastinate, so he came here to pack it up now.
They are some of Linde's collections or souvenirs and various magical materials.
For example, photos of Mrs. Evelyn, some commemorative small gifts. There are also some interesting things that Linde has picked up in the sea. A few beautiful shells, an ancient coin of unknown origin, and a delicate small coral.
There are also unicorn tail hair, unicorn horns, parasites, etc.
He will put these things in different places. I think I can finish them before the end of this class.
Thinking of this, Linde immediately started to pack up.
As time passed, those things slowly stopped crowding together. When Linde finally packed up, he looked at the time. It was two minutes before the end of the get out of class.
His roommates hadn't arrived in the lounge yet, but they were almost there.
Thinking of this, Linde crawled out again and took a few books before leaving.
After that, Lind went to the library to read for a while, until dinner time, Lind met Hermione and others in the Great Hall.
"You are wrong to do this. If Professor Lockhart hadn't had some accidents today, he would definitely deduct points from you two." She lectured as soon as they met, frowning.
Harry whispered beside him, "That was not an accident!"
Ron also said, "Yes, we suffered a lot." As he said that, he rubbed his face, and Lind saw that there was a little purple on his face.
"What's wrong?" Lind asked, "What accident?"
"That was an accident. Besides, even the Cornish elves that we can deal with, how can he not do it? You know, he can deal with powerful monsters such as werewolves and banshees."
"Well, I don't think werewolves are monsters." Lind kindly reminded.
At this point, Harry and Ron didn't want to say more to Hermione on this topic, so Hermione continued her preaching, and Lind also started peeling shrimps. Just treat Hermione's mumbling as entertainment.
"What would happen if Professor McGonagall knew about your behavior today?"
"I want to know, too." Linde said with a smile. Today's skipping class was originally a test.
"Tsk!" Seeing Linde say this, Hermione tried to change the direction again, "Well, you have to know that we didn't take Defense Against the Dark Arts seriously last year. If we don't take it seriously this year, what will happen to the final exam?"
"I just don't take his class, not that I don't study. These are two different things." Linde tore off the shrimp head.
"You have to know that every deduction is equivalent to adding points to Slytherin. If we don't try our best to accumulate points, we may miss the House Cup at any time."
"Don't you still have you? You have added more points than some children in other houses in a semester." Linde tore off the shrimp tail.
"But..."
"And I also got extra points, so it's even!" Linde said nonchalantly.
Some things are hard to say directly, such as what does the House Cup have to do with him? As long as he doesn't reduce his score because of himself, he can be treated as an invisible person.
This was the case last semester. No matter how many points Snape deducted from him, he would earn back those points in other classes to make up for it.
Besides, there is Dumbledore, the point-adding maniac, and Harry, the money-laundering machine. The House Cup is easy to win, so why should he care about it?
Collective honor? There is no such thing.
Even if Dumbledore said he would change his house tomorrow, he would not care much.
Hermione left angrily when she saw him like this. Ron followed him to comfort him, and Harry came over and whispered, "She just said the same thing to Jane, and it ended up being very unpleasant."
"Oh, I thought she was not as preachy as the first grade." Linde raised his eyebrows. No wonder the usual four-person group became a three-person group today.
The Hermione he met in reality adhered to the character in the original book, and the first grade was indeed unpleasant. But he remembered that Hermione changed little by little afterwards.
Harry explained. "Yes, but she may think that skipping classes is really a bit bad. And she may think that everyone has a good relationship."
"Well, the starting point is not bad, but that's all." Linde commented objectively.
"Luckily you didn't have a fight with her. Otherwise, she would have exploded like Fred and George's self-inflating balloons today!" Harry said exaggeratedly.
Lind stuffed a handful of peeled shrimp into his mouth and said puffily, "I don't like quarrels. It would be fine if she could debate with me. Unfortunately, she can't even say two sentences."
Harry grabbed a fried fish and stuffed it into his mouth. Lind asked with interest, "Why did you start eating fried fish? I remember you don't eat this!"
"Well, I don't know. I feel like eating fish and shrimp recently." Harry scratched his head and said.
After stuffing a fried fish in a hurry, he grabbed two more. Then he said goodbye to Lind and ran to find Hermione.
Lind looked at Harry's running back. He was a little curious about how much Harry's body had changed after that incident.
