Later, this shooting method actually played a very good role on the battlefield. On the one hand, its effect was to destroy some Soviet tanks and armored vehicles, but more importantly, it was a psychological shock... The Soviet army was surprised to find that They could not detect the Germans in the dark, but the Germans could accurately fire the ME63 to destroy their tanks. This made them almost have no courage to march at night or use tanks to assist the infantry in attacking, because they thought they would go up and die.

But in fact, the German shooting method relied largely on luck to hit the target, but the Soviet army didn't know it.

Of course, these are all things for later.

The particularity of launching the ME63 determines that the operator Qinchuan chooses must have a certain level of education, otherwise it will be difficult for them to predict the movement of the target, especially when the target moves at a certain angle. Trigonometric functions are required.

But of course these are not problems. The German soldiers are very educated. All Qin Chuan has to do is to select those with stronger computing power as controllers to popularize knowledge about speed, angle, and time.

There are exceptions to this, such as Werner, who knows almost nothing about mathematics but is an excellent operator.

Someone asked Werner why he could always calculate the target trajectory quickly and accurately. He replied: "Come on, man! I have been dealing with baseball almost all my life, and I know the key to accurately hitting the ball thrown by the opponent. What? That is to estimate the angle and speed of the baseball flying, and then swing it..."

Werner couldn't help but make another hitting motion, and then said: "Wow, did you see that? Another home run!"

Sometimes Werner is quite ugly, but what he said is indeed correct. It is estimated that speed, angle and time have become instinctive for him. Even tanks and cars are much slower than baseballs. , so he didn't need to calculate at all, he only needed to take a glance and know where the correct position was.

But just doing such estimation training and simulation training is not enough.

It didn't take long for Qin Chuan to increase the difficulty of the simulation training... Originally, the simulation training was controlled on a motionless disc.

This kind of control is obviously very different from the actual ME63:

One is that the ME63 will fly towards the target, while the simulator is just on a plane.

On the other hand, when the ME63 is flying towards the target, it will continue to deviate from its own trajectory due to airflow... This is also one of the reasons why the rocket accuracy is not high, and the simulator is fixed.

These problems are actually not difficult to solve.

For the former, you only need to install a track on the ground, install a special car on the track, fix the metal disc on the car and drag it along the track, thus simulating the process of the rocket flying towards the target.

The latter is easier.

All you have to do is shake the disc randomly to simulate windage and airflow.

Then the operator is required to try his best to control the light source to point to the bullseye, which is the center of the disk.

This kind of training is not difficult for German soldiers. Many soldiers even regard it as a game and enjoy it... People in this era do not have computers, mobile phones and other things like your modern people. At the same time, they live on the battlefield. It's also extremely boring, and a little fun can arouse their strong interest and enthusiasm, just like they will drool when they see green vegetables after not eating fresh vegetables for a long time.

As Werner said: "I will continue training like this for at least one or two years!"

"Oh, yes!" the baker joked: "That way you don't need to go to the battlefield, right?"

"Hey, Lieutenant!" Werner protested: "The purpose of our training is to go to the battlefield!"

"That's right!" said the baker, "but the question is, after one or two years of training, isn't this damn war over yet?"

Everyone was speechless after hearing this.

The baker's words were actually a pun. He did not say whether Germany would win the war or Germany's enemies.

But this can already explain something, because Qin Chuan remembered that when he discussed the war between the German army and the Soviet Union with them in Africa a year ago, almost everyone was optimistic that the German army would defeat them within a few months. Will occupy the entire Soviet Union, just like Hitler told everyone at the time.

But the facts proved that Hitler was wrong, and the German officers and soldiers were also wrong, and not just once...The German army was forced to retreat again and again, although this was much better than the defeats again and again in history.

However, as the Soviet Union grew stronger during the Vietnam War, the morale and confidence of German officers and soldiers had begun to waver.

However, Qin Chuan still held a relatively optimistic attitude at this time.

Qin Chuan said: "What we need to do is to complete the training tasks before us. Victory is always in your hands!"

Qin Chuan is not exaggerating. Although the ME63 is the first generation of wire-guided anti-tank missiles, it still has many flaws, such as a low hit rate and easy suppression (it is easy to be discovered if the operator has a weak hand). But it can easily destroy a tank a thousand meters away, and at the same time, the equipment is so simple and powerful, and it can be equipped in large quantities. The impact it has in this era can definitely be described as shocking.

Marshal Manstein also took a fancy to this, so he desperately explored the potential of ME63 at this time.

Manstein visited twice during the training of the First Infantry Regiment. He was very satisfied with Qinchuan's training.

"It seems you have found a good solution, Lieutenant Colonel!" Manstein said: "I knew I should give this task to you. Although I knew you would complete it, I didn't expect you to do it in such a way. It’s done this way.”

As he spoke, Manstein nodded appreciatively towards Qinchuan and said, "This is a great initiative. It can achieve almost the same effect as live ammunition without using live ammunition!"

"Your Excellency, Marshal!" Qin Chuan said: "Although I really want to accept your compliment, this is not my credit... He is the idea of my subordinate, one named Second Lieutenant Biederman!"

"Oh!" Manstein couldn't help but feel a little surprised after hearing this, but he quickly smiled and said: "Maybe it's because he is your subordinate that he has such a good idea!"

Before leaving, Manstein told Qin Chuan: "But a simulation is a simulation after all. We still need to let them conduct some live-fire training. This is also necessary!"

"Of course, Your Majesty Marshal!" When Qin Chuan said this, he knew that they did not have much time to train.
