#578 - The magical twins come to the rescue

In the Martian Manhunter's vision, crimson smoke crept towards him, the flashing red lightning within it looking dangerous and awe-inspiring.

The speed of the Reality Stone wasn't slow, but for the Martian Manhunter, who could keep up with the speed of light, he could still see its trajectory.

Watching the Reality Stone erode towards him, Yang Le's hand had long since moved to the Omnitrix. He could accept sacrificing a clone's life, but he couldn't accept Thanos knowing his thoughts.

Once Thanos used the Reality Stone to change the reality of him being a Martian, he would truly be at the mercy of the other party.

"Buzz!"

A blue light flashed, and the space around Yang Le became wrinkled like a plastic bag scorched by flames. These shrinking ripples enveloped Yang Le, who was slumped on the ground.

Enveloped, Yang Le quickly realized that he couldn't move. Combined with the blue light that had lit up earlier, it was clear that Thanos had used the power of the Space Stone to imprison him at a point in space.

"I hate variables," Thanos said in a deep voice. "I have experienced countless wars, and I will not leave you any opportunity to make small moves."

Yang Le was as still as a statue sculpted by an artist. He had no way to face the Reality Stone that was gradually eroding towards him, but the Omnitrix symbol on his chest began to rotate, and surging cosmic energy began to permeate outwards.

"Snap!"

A crisp snap of fingers. In Thanos's astonished gaze, a translucent membrane enveloped him and Yang Le together, and then the smoke generated by the Reality Stone, which had just been so powerful, disappeared without a trace.

The Omnitrix symbol, which had been rotating halfway clockwise, silently turned back, and the cosmic energy that had just been revealed returned the same way, as if nothing had happened.

Yang Le lowered his head. He had just broken free from the spatial imprisonment when he noticed the abnormality of the Omnitrix. Although the Omnitrix was Azmuth's crystallization of wisdom, it didn't have the ability to transcend time and space.

Being able to rotate in a space that was nailed down was clearly X-Man's intention. It seemed that Mamon and Oz still cared about him, but...

Yang Le stretched his eyes out like a snail, looking up and down at himself. He was still in the form of a Martian, and the Omnitrix hadn't been triggered, which meant that he hadn't turned into X-Man. So, the one who solved the Infinity Stones was someone else.

"Long time no see, Happy," a familiar male voice said, sounding like a teenager in puberty, but because the other party deliberately lowered his voice, the originally clear voice became a sticky bubble sound.

"Stop making that dying noise, Little Rich," a female voice suddenly interjected. "Maddie told me that voice is disgusting."

"What!? Really? Why didn't she tell me?"

Yang Le turned his protruding eyes in another direction. The first thing he saw was Valeria wearing a white coat, and Franklin, who he hadn't seen for a long time, wearing a well-tailored suit, combing his hair into an adult's style, and wearing plain glasses, dressed like a business elite.

Valeria rolled her eyes and said, "Because she didn't want to hurt your feelings, so she entrusted me to tell you."

"Did Maddie really say I'm disgusting?" Franklin asked anxiously.

"No, she just said you're a little greasy. I came to the conclusion that it was disgusting myself."

"Get out of here, Little Va!"

"You two! You two!" Yang Le called a halt to the arguing Fantastic Twins. "I don't think now is the time for family time. I have a big trouble here."

"Big trouble?" Franklin turned around and scanned his surroundings, finally looking at Yang Le with a puzzled expression.

"Where's the big trouble? Why didn't I see it?"

Even Thanos, who was good at cultivating his composure, couldn't help but feel a little anger when faced with Franklin's neglect. Since he became famous, no one had ever dared to talk to him like this.

There was no such thing as swallowing his anger in Thanos's dictionary, and what's more, he now had five Infinity Stones. He really couldn't think of anyone in this universe who was his opponent.

Raising his left hand, although Thanos didn't know what the other party used to block the Reality Stone, he still had the power of four other stones to use. The other party couldn't possibly deal with the other four as well, right?

Thanos's mind moved, and he was about to activate the power of the stones, but he soon noticed something was wrong. He didn't see the bronze-colored shadow in the corner of his eye, only a purple shadow.

"Where's my Infinity Gauntlet?!" Thanos exclaimed. The Infinity Gauntlet that should have been on his hand had disappeared, leaving only a hand the color of a purple sweet potato.

"I have it here, Purple Sweet Potato Man."

Thanos looked in the direction of the voice and saw Franklin holding his Infinity Gauntlet and waving at him. The latter showed a sunny smile after noticing that he had noticed him, and then looked down at the Infinity Gauntlet in his hand.

"Wow! Little Va, the Infinity Stones in this universe are completely different from the ones in our universe. The Reality Stone is actually red, and the Power Stone is actually purple."

"Really?" Valeria became interested when she heard this. In fact, the Fantastic Twins had been tired of the Infinity Stones in their universe for a long time. If Franklin hadn't said that the colors were different, she might not have had even the slightest bit of interest.

Seeing that the gems he had finally collected were taken away, the string in Thanos's brain seemed to snap. Without considering how big the difference in strength between the two must be since Franklin could take the gauntlet without him noticing, he only wanted to get his Infinity Gauntlet back.

Facing Thanos rushing towards him, Franklin just shrugged and took the Infinity Gauntlet from Valeria's hand and threw it to Thanos, who was launching the charge.

"Stop yelling, I'll give it back to you if you want it so badly."

Thanos looked at the Infinity Gauntlet in mid-air in astonishment. It wasn't until it was about to hit him in the face that he reacted and clumsily caught the Infinity Gauntlet.

"It's like it's some rare thing," Franklin sighed, then beckoned to Thanos. "Don't be stunned, use it if you want to, I'll count it as my loss if you can knock out a single hair on my head, okay?"

Hearing Franklin say this, Thanos hesitated a little, but in the end, he firmly put on the Infinity Gauntlet.

What prompted him to do this was not a boring competitive spirit, but the heavy burden on his shoulders. Thanos felt that he had a reason to keep moving forward, even if it meant being shattered to pieces.

The sense of mission made Thanos firm again. He clenched his fist and activated the Space Stone, preparing to use space movement to sneak attack Franklin, but...

Nothing happened!
