The Admiral of Hogwarts

The banquet didn't end until around 11:00 PM. Staying up so late was a rare occurrence for Ravenclaw students, who usually lived very disciplined lives. However, given the events of the day, indulging a little was perfectly acceptable.
Due to his earlier rescue, Hugo, while not the center of attention like Veneto, still attracted the gazes of many students at the banquet. And for the Ravenclaw students, besides expressing admiration for the hero, they also asked some strange questions.
For example, several students came to Hugo to ask how he had performed the Levitation Charm earlier. After all, levitating a feather in a safe classroom was a different matter entirely from accurately casting the spell under pressure to snatch a club from a troll's hand.
Hugo couldn't provide a serious answer to this question. After all, he couldn't exactly tell them that it was purely due to his special connection with the ship girls, and that no one else could replicate it. So, he could only reply that it was the result of starting to preview and practice during the summer vacation.
The students believed this answer. After all, besides talent, hard work was essential to mastering magic. Since those sorted into Ravenclaw generally had decent talent, they could understand Hugo achieving his current accomplishments through hard work.
Besides these admirers and those who came to thank him, Hugo spent most of the banquet listening to his sister's nagging. On one hand, Hermione was proud that her brother had displayed noble sentiments and acted heroically. On the other hand, she didn't quite approve of Hugo's risky behavior.
"Hugo, while I'm proud of your actions today, it was too dangerous. You have to remember, you're just a first-year student, and your actions exceeded your capabilities." Hermione said to Hugo with lingering fear as they ate roast beef in a corner.
"You don't know how worried I was when I saw you rush over there. I hope that next time you do something like this, you'll think about our parents and your sister."
"Alright, alright, I understand, Hermione," Hugo said, swallowing the piece of beef in his mouth. "I promise to think carefully before acting next time, and I won't worry you again."
Hugo didn't show any displeasure at Hermione's nagging. After all, he knew his sister was doing it out of concern, and he enjoyed being cared for.
After the banquet ended, Hugo, exhausted from the earlier adventure and then dealing with classmates at the banquet, finished washing up, greeted his roommates, climbed into bed, pulled up the covers, closed his eyes, and opened the Admiral Network.
"Your actions this time have allowed me to grasp a pattern," Victory's voice echoed in Hugo's mind as soon as he connected to the Admiral Network. "That is, when changing an event in the original story, simply replacing the original personnel yields far fewer Destiny Points than completely changing the event itself."
"As expected," Hugo said. After all, these points were called Destiny Points, so naturally, the greater the change to the original destiny, the more points one would obtain. If he were to stab Harry Potter to death right now, he'd probably get a four-figure score, maybe even five.
However, considering that this world was where he and the ship girls would live in the future, and that the ship girls were naturally inclined towards kindness, and that he himself, despite having two lifetimes of experience, was still just an ordinary person with a bottom line, he couldn't bring himself to be as ruthless as some story protagonists.
Therefore, when planning changes, Hugo still followed the path of kindness, and even when he wanted to change the plot, he would try to make it brighter rather than darker in the grand scheme of things.
After discussing the analysis of how to obtain Destiny Points, Veneto's voice rang out, "I'm very curious as to why Professor Dumbledore let me off so easily, without even questioning the abnormalities about me. It doesn't feel like something such a—such a shrewd person would do."
"I think you'd better try to watch fewer HP fanfics from my memories," Hugo said somewhat helplessly. "If it were Professor Dumbledore from decades ago, the one who could shout 'For the Greater Good', he would indeed be worrying. But the current headmaster, who's over a hundred years old, I don't think he's that dangerous."
"The current Dumbledore is a person with a very high bottom line, at least he won't have too many arrangements for you, a first-year girl who just happens to have extraordinary power," Hugo explained. "Judging from his conversation with Malfoy before his death in the original story, he has always cared for the students."
"As for relying on Snape through Harry's mother, it's also normal. Judging from Lily's final choice, Snape had gone too far down the path of the dark wizards back then. Even if he later repented, it doesn't mean he washed away his original sins. In this situation, it's normal for the headmaster to be wary," Hugo said, stating his analysis.
Although he had been moved by the professor when he watched the movies and read the novels in his previous life, in all fairness, ordinary people would be wary of hiring even ex-convicts who had been sentenced for theft. So, facing a former terrorist like Snape, it would be normal for Dumbledore not to completely trust Snape unless he had dementia.
"You're right," Hood's voice interjected. "Don't forget that you are now in Britain's only magic school, and the students inside are equivalent to the future of the British magical world. Under these circumstances, I personally believe that Headmaster Dumbledore allowing someone with a criminal record like Snape to be a teacher in the school is already an extreme act of trust."
"As for not continuing to question you, it's also normal. After all, although you showed extraordinary power and certain combat skills tonight, you didn't completely expose your power. So, this level of exposure, although it will make the professors aware of your specialness, is still acceptable," Hood concluded to Veneto.
"After all, this is the world of magic, where anything is possible. Besides, since Hogwarts can accept half-giant students and werewolf students, it's not strange for them to accept a student with great power."
"Wait, Hood," Hugo immediately asked as Hood's voice trailed off, "Did you just say that Veneto only used a small portion of her power tonight?"
Hugo had personally witnessed Veneto smashing the troll's knee with a stick tonight, completely breaking the troll's leg and shattering the stick at the same time. In his opinion, that was already a great deal of power.
"It seems that you, Admiral, still don't have an accurate understanding of our combat capabilities," Hood said with a smile. "This may be because we usually don't show much difference from ordinary humans in front of you."
