Chapter 1646: Production capacity

Based on this, China Ascendas’ new aircraft manufacturing plant in the outskirts of Sinzhou has received strong support from the Sinzhou area. Not only has a large area of land been generously transferred to China Ascendas’ name, but it has also given great approvals and policies. Therefore, the scale of China Ascendas’ aircraft production plant in Sinzhou is second only to the aircraft production base at the southern foot of the Qinling Mountains, covering an area of 242 hectares.
Among them, the No. 1 workshop for the final assembly of the aircraft occupies an area of 22 hectares.
At present, the entire workshop is undergoing expansion and transformation, and the future scale will reach 28 hectares, making it the largest super production workshop in the southwestern region.
The short-term products are mainly the mass production model of the No. 10 project, and the mass production model of the Navy FC-23 carrier-based fighter that is expected to be qualitatively completed by 2010.
Needless to say, the FC-23 carrier-based fighter jet was originally a masterpiece of China's take-off. It seems a little surprising that the mass production model of the No. 10 project is also placed here, after all, it is the unique business of the successful aircraft manufacturing group.
The original plan is also the same. The mass production type of the No. 10 project produced by Berjaya Group, and China Ascendas as a supporting tool, is equivalent to a main attack, an auxiliary and a jungler.
As a result, the Air Force was very satisfied with the aircraft after a series of test flights and evaluations of the No. 10 Project. Especially after the replacement of the WD-70 series high-power turbofan engine produced by China Ascendas, the overall performance completely exceeded that of the Air Force. Therefore, it was decided to increase the purchase of this type of aircraft, requiring the production unit to complete the replacement of the six fighter groups of the Air Force by 2010, and at least two fighter groups to form initial combat capabilities.
Although Berjaya Group introduced part of the pulsation production line technology of China Ascendas in the early years to improve the efficiency of aircraft production, the problem is that part of the pulsation production line technology is not a full set of practical technology after all. In addition, several important supporting factories of Berjaya Group are located in Huangfeng. After the transfer from Berjaya Group, the overall pace of industrial upgrading slowed down, and it did not take advantage of China's rapid upgrade to successfully complete its own technological innovation, resulting in no substantial improvement in overall efficiency.
Such a superposition makes the annual output of the mass production model of the No. 10 project of the Berjaya Group only a mere 18.
On average, 1.5 planes are produced per month.
This efficiency is considered a very good result in normal times. It is important to know that the annual output of the Su-27 domestically produced by the Northeast Aviation Industry is only 12, and the average output is only one per month.
This is not to say that the Northeast aviation industry is conservative and does not have a pulsating production line, but the entire Su-27 production system derived from the Soviet Union has too little redundancy. China Ascendas once organized relevant capable forces to produce in the Northeast aviation industry. The base researched for more than half a year, but couldn't find a way to integrate the original Soviet production line.
Of course, in accordance with China's ability to take off, it is not impossible to put aside the original Soviet goods and re-install a set of pulsating production lines of assets, but this idea was opposed by the Russian cooperative enterprise as soon as it was proposed.
No way, the Russian cooperative company has long since transferred this Su-27 production line to the Northeast Aviation Industry as a chicken that will always lay golden eggs.
The annual equipment maintenance, replacement of parts, and the import of aircraft structural parts, the Russian cooperative enterprises do not know how much benefit they have eaten. How can it be overthrown and restarted?
Doesn't that mean you are smashing your own job?
The Northeast Aviation Industry here is not very good in the localization of Su-27, so that this model has been introduced to China for more than ten years, and many key components still rely on Russian cooperative enterprises.
Especially for aero engines, China’s take-off WD-70 series high-power turbofan engines have been tried for a long time, but the Russian AL-31 series are still used for mass production models today.
The reason is not that the Northeast Aviation Industry still uses the mission computer produced by Russia, and the self-check status of the aircraft only defaults to the Russian AL-31 series, and other models cannot be connected at all.
Originally, the Northeast Aviation Industry wanted to use the carrier-based aircraft to successfully bid and obtain huge amounts of funding from the Navy, and then apply for the support of the Air Force to solve this problem. However, the carrier-based aircraft project was cut off by China's take-off and faced a huge challenge. The Northeast’s aviation industry can only slow down the pace of the funding gap, which has been delayed so far.
If this were to be placed in the past, China Ascendas is estimated to be able to pull each other out. The problem is that China Ascendas at this time is no longer the old boy with a single technical capability and no model. The combination of various types of aircraft in hand is enough. There are more than 20 models, and I can’t get too busy here, and I don’t have enough energy to take care of other people’s affairs.
But then the Air Force is in a hurry. For so many years, the three-generation aircraft that I have been thinking of for so many years have finally met the conditions for deployment. Can we not just solve the problem?
It is necessary to conduct large-scale biography and form a large formation like the US F-16 and F-15 to have real combat capabilities.
In particular, after the Air Force determined the idea of building an army from homeland and air defense to both offense and defense, the demand in this area became more urgent. However, the production capacity of each company was unable to keep up. You said that the Air Force is in no hurry!
If this were put in the past, it would be useless for the Air Force to die suddenly. The division of labor in the aviation industry during the founding of the People's Republic of China had long given the production pattern to death. Coupled with so many years of development, this pattern of industrial solidification has been exacerbated.
So even if the Air Force is in a hurry, it's useless. The production plant has two hands. I am so capable. What can you do to me?
How can it be? You have to wait!
However, the new Air Force leaders do not think so. Reform is not just about the advancement of the troops themselves. In today's era of global integration, equipment informationization, and intelligence, reforms are all-round.
If this is the case, why should the division of labor during the founding period continue? How can the long-standing industrial structure not be broken?
The reason why the leaders of the Air Force have such confidence is mainly because of China's take-off.
The Yun-18NB large transport aircraft produced by it is a big one with a maximum take-off weight of 125 tons. The Air Force ordered 48 aircraft in 2002, and it only took 3 years for China to take off and complete the delivery.
If it were to wait for a year for the supporting factories to prepare and supply materials, the actual production only took 2 years.
The annual output reaches 24, an average of 2 per month!
In this regard, when the Air Force leader who served in the equipment department of the headquarters was investigating the production line of China's Ascendas military transport aircraft, Zhuang Jianye was embarrassed to say that he did not have burst production capacity. If all operations were carried out at full capacity, China Ascendas could reduce the production capacity of Yun-18NB. The current 2 per month has increased to one every two days.
When the Air Force leader was surprised, he kept this matter in his heart. After he took up the post of Air Force leader, he directly called Zhuang Jianye and asked the fighter plane, China, facing the capacity of several production plants. Can Tengfei serve dumplings!
Zhuang Jianye is a real man who understands the king, Tianzi No.1, he said without hesitation: "Yes!"
