  Chapter 792 Spotted run fast

Harry, Ron, and Hermione were huddled under the invisibility cloak so that no one else would notice they were leaving the castle, and tiptoed carefully through the Great Hall, and when they descended the stone steps in front of the gate, the sun was already setting in the Forbidden Forest behind.

  Crookshanks had been repeatedly told by Hermione, and obediently followed the three to Hagrid's cabin.

  Standing in front of Hagrid's cabin, Harry looked around cautiously, and after making sure that there was no one around, he raised his hand and knocked on the door. The door was quickly opened from the inside, and Hagrid poked his head out and looked around carefully, but he couldn't find the visitor.

  Finally, Hagrid noticed that there was a cat under his feet. He had just passed by his feet, got into the house, and began to sniff the surrounding air.

   A cat, knocking?

  Hagrid thought his idea was ridiculous.

   "It's us, Hagrid." Harry's voice suddenly came from the side, "Don't look, we are wearing an invisibility cloak."

   "Why are you here now, it's almost night."

  Hagrid took a step back, and after the three of them entered the room, he said to Harry who had torn off the invisibility cloak, "Didn't you say there is only one class in the afternoon, you should have come earlier."

   "Sorry Hagrid, I have a lot of classes this afternoon." Hermione was also very helpless, she needed more classes than Harry and Ron, and it was impossible to skip class to help Hagrid catch mice.

"Is this your cat?" Hagrid looked at Crookshanks, and without saying anything about being late, he got up to make tea for the three of them, and brought a plate of biscuits, "It looks bigger than Albert's cat." As long as he is alert, his cat will be afraid of mice."

   "There are cats that are afraid of mice?" Ron felt incredible.

"Yeah, Albert's cat is just like that. It's lazy and fat. It struggles to walk. When people see it, they think it's a pig." Hagrid smiled and looked at the cat who was searching for the smell of mice. "A good cat is one that catches mice," Crookshanks said. "However, for Albert, it doesn't matter if his cat catches mice or not."

  Peter, who was hiding in the milk jug in the cupboard and eavesdropping on their conversation, was in a broken state of mind at the moment. He never expected that Hagrid would actually find a cat to catch mice.

   What is this and what is it!

  I thought it was just casual talk, but I didn't expect that Hagrid really found a cat to catch mice, and the cat he found was actually the one that had been chasing him all the time.

  The cat was crazy, and it just clung to him, as if there was some deep hatred between the two sides.

  If Peter didn't know Black's Animagus's black dog, he would even suspect that the black cat was Black.

  Now just pray that the crazy cat will leave after catching the mouse.

  The conversation in the room was still going on, but they couldn't understand Peter's complicated mood now.

   "Hagrid, what happened last time?" Harry asked in a low voice.

  Hagrid poured a cup of amber tea for each of the three, stared at Crookshanks who was looking for mice everywhere, and casually replied, "What's going on?"

   "We were wearing an invisibility cloak and peeking from the side. Before Buckbeak was executed, he disappeared without warning." Ron asked in a low voice.

   "I don't know, I probably ran away." Hagrid made a booing gesture to the three of Harry, signaling them not to discuss this matter any more.

  Even if the matter has passed, Hagrid also knows that this matter must be kept a complete secret, otherwise someone will find out someday, and God knows what will happen.

  Harry, Hermione, and Ron all understood Hagrid's meaning. Although they were very puzzled and wanted to know the truth, they didn't continue to ask about this matter. Judging by Hagrid's appearance, it was obvious that they didn't intend to reveal the news.

   "Look, it's got the first mouse." Hagrid abruptly diverted the attention of the three of them.

  Crookshanks just crawled out from under Hagrid's bed with a dead mouse in his mouth.

   "You're a very powerful cat. You caught the mouse in a short time." Hagrid picked up the dead mouse thrown away by Crookshanks from the ground, and sighed softly.

  Hermione's Crookshanks is really powerful. In a short while, three mice were caught in Hagrid's hut, and a bottle was knocked over during the process.

  Peter, who was hiding in the milk jug, was already huddled up in fright, for fear of being discovered by the crazy cat, which might cause all his efforts to be wasted and expose himself to the sight of everyone.

  Unfortunately, Peter couldn't escape Crookshanks' nose after all. After the mouse-catching expert Crookshanks killed the fourth mouse under the kitchen cabinet, he finally set his sights on the cupboard.

  Seeing that Crookshanks found another mouse, Hermione reached out and grabbed the cat, and lifted it to Hagrid's cupboard.

  Crookshanks immediately set his sights on the milk jug where Peter was hiding.

  Peter hiding in the milk jug feels like he is going crazy.

When Hermione took the milk jug from the cupboard and opened the lid, she was taken aback by what came out of it. She let go of her fingers, and the milk jug fell from Hermione's hand and fell into a pile of pieces .

  Peter, who was hiding in the milk jug, ran away immediately after the jug was broken, desperately getting under the cabinet, so as not to become the ghost of the crazy cat.

   "What's wrong, Hermione?"

   All three of them were taken aback by Hermione's exclamation. They turned their heads and saw the milk jug and a big mouse that fell to pieces on the ground.

   "Banban, why are you here?" Ron stared dumbfounded at the mouse that quickly slipped under the cabinet.

  Crookshanks jumped into the air, growled in a low voice, and began to reach under the cupboard with his front paws furiously.

   "Crookshanks, don't do this." Hermione grabbed Crookshanks by the waist, lifted it with great effort and put it somewhere else, so as not to kill Scabbers.

   "Is it really Scabbers?" Harry asked suspiciously. Wasn't Banban eaten by Crookshanks a while ago, and Ron and Hermione had a big fight because of this.

   "No, I can't read it wrong." Ron lay on the ground, trying to catch the mouse hiding under the cabinet, but was bitten, and the painful scream echoed in the room.

   After a lot of effort, Ron finally caught the struggling mouse and lifted it to a place with light for careful observation.

   It was indeed Scabbers. He was thinner than before, and his fur was shedding a lot, leaving patches of bald skin.

  The rat writhed in Ron's hand, as if desperately trying to be free.

   "Scabbets, it's me, Ron." Ron asked Hermione to get the cat away, "With me here, nothing here will hurt you!"

Ron tried to keep Scabbers in his pocket, but the rat went berserk, screaming, writhing and kicking wildly, biting Ron's hand again, and when he let go in pain, It slipped out of Ron's fingers and fell to the ground, trying to escape outside.

  Crookshanks broke free from Hermione's hand and ran after him so fast that Harry and Hermione had no time to stop him.

  As for Ron, after seeing Crookshanks going to Scabbers, he immediately chased after him.

   "Hermione, let's go take a look too." After Harry finished speaking, he hurried after Ron.

   "Wait, Harry." Hermione vaguely felt that something was wrong, and cast a pleading look at Hagrid.

   "Oh my God! What the **** is going on here?"

Hagrid looked at the three people who left in a hurry, and he was still confused, but he was not worried about letting Harry, Hermione, and Ron run around at night, so he planned to go out with him, but it was already dark outside, so Hagrid turned back and took an oil lamp before catching up again.
