Chapter 185: Charms Club

  Chapter 185 The Magic Club

On the other side, Albert and Katrina are on their way to the seventh floor, which is similar to the last time they went to the Transfiguration Club.

However, this time, the positions of the two parties have been reversed.

"No need, just tell me where classroom 17 is." Albert saw that Katrina was about to speak, so he simply refused, stuffing what she originally wanted to say back into his stomach.

"Are you sure? Well, come with me." Katrina looked at Albert resentfully, feeling a little upset, but she still led him along the corridor.

The two stopped in front of a statue of a middle-aged witch, which is the entrance to classroom 17.

"Alberta Tussel." Katrina introduced to Albert. "In the fifteenth century, the champion of the All-British Wizarding Duel Tournament."

"Ancient times? At that time, there were only a few people in England, and there were only a few wizards."

"What do you want to express?" Katrina asked.

"One has to take a long-term view." Albert said, "Don't be like Tom."

   "Tom?"

Albert curled his lips and said, "My cat."

"Can you say something that people can understand." Katrina felt that this guy had something to say, but she couldn't understand what he wanted to express.

Actually, Alberta knew this person. Alberta Tussel used the explosive spell to win the competition.

As for, how do you know this name?

Of course, when I was looking for information related to the Explosive Curse, I saw the introduction to Alberta Tussel by the way. Because I have a strong memory, I remembered this name.

"How to get in?" Albert asked Katrina.

   "A password is required."

"Password? You won't say... the password is an explosive spell, right?" Albert looked at Katrina suspiciously.

"You actually knew." Katrina was stunned, never expecting Albert to guess it.

"It's really an explosion curse." After Albert saw himself uttering the explosion curse, the statue of the witch moved aside, revealing the entrance hidden behind.

When he walked in, he found that it was actually a spacious classroom. The environment here is very similar to the Transfiguration Club, the chairs are arranged in a semi-arc.

Well, Albert also met an acquaintance.

"You can sit wherever you want." Katrina said and walked towards Isobel, leaving Albert at the door.

Although I said so, there are actually only sixteen chairs.

Several people were looking at Albert. He didn't care about the sight of those people, and went directly to a place where there were no people and sat there, waiting for the party to start.

As the three o'clock approached, the members of the Magic Club gradually gathered. There were more people in the club than in the Transfiguration Club, with a total of sixteen people.

Albert also found a few acquaintances, Terrence Higgs of Slytherin, the Slytherin substitute Seeker who confronted Albert last semester, played by the rules, Albert still had a good impression of him good.

The other is Hufflepuff's Gabriel Truman.

"Sure enough, you were invited too." When Truman first entered the classroom, he saw Albert and came over to greet him with a smile.

"Professor Flitwick will not use "Spell Innovation" to explain to us?" Albert glanced at the academic journal in Truman's hand, and asked tentatively.

"How do you know?" Truman was very surprised.

Albert was speechless immediately, feeling that the Spell Club and the Transformation Club are really highly similar.

"Don't worry, if you don't have this magazine, you can borrow it from Professor Flitwick." Truman reached out and patted Albert's shoulder to comfort him, "And, most of the time, he is practicing spells."

Before three o'clock, Professor Flitwick rushed to classroom 17 ahead of time. He stepped on a chair, stood on a high chair, and talked to everyone face to face.

"First of all, we have welcomed a new member. His name is Albert Anderson." When Professor Flitwick pronounced Albert's name, he suddenly let out a scream, and his body exploded. When it opened, countless fireworks and ribbons appeared, which shocked everyone.

The next moment, Professor Flitwick reappeared, and applause resounded throughout the classroom.

"Is the welcome ceremony like this?" Albert asked in a low voice.

"No, you are special this time." Truman smiled and applauded with everyone.

Professor Flitwick clapped his palms twice, attracted everyone's attention and said, "Our topic today is silent spells."

"I know you are still very unfamiliar with the use of silent spells." Professor Flitwick continued after everyone quieted down, "Basically, this subject can only be learned in your sixth-grade spell improvement class."

"Of course, the silent spell is actually not as difficult as you think."

"What are the benefits of mastering silent spells?"

"If you don't read the spell aloud when casting magic, you can achieve a surprise effect." Professor Flitwick asked himself and answered.

"Some wizards feel that using a silent spell will weaken the power of the spell, and they are unwilling to use it." Professor Flitwick grinned. "As we all know, these wizards are making excuses for themselves."

Many people couldn't help laughing out loud.

"Many wizards find the silent spell too difficult, because they lack concentration and willpower when using the silent spell."

"By the way, let me tell you a secret." Professor Flitwick said mysteriously, "Smart wizards are usually very good at silent spells, and this is one of their necessary skills."

"Now, everyone, try and use the magic you are best at," Professor Flitwick said to everyone, "Don't make a sound, just recite the spell silently in your heart. There is no point in cheating, let's start."

When everyone was practicing, Professor Flitwick began to patrol the world, observing the students who were practicing silently, and occasionally gave some pointers.

Albert saw Truman next to him with his mouth tightly closed, and felt a little like laughing. The other party seemed to be resisting some temptation to prevent himself from reciting the spell softly.

Albert tried his best to concentrate on himself, excluding all external influences, and waved his wand while silently chanting the fluorescent flashes in his heart.

   Well, he succeeded.

The situation seemed not as difficult as imagined, and Albert was not sure how long it had passed, but he did successfully light his wand without saying a word.

"You succeeded?" The expression on Truman's face was replaced by astonishment, and he stared blankly at Albert, never thinking that Albert could successfully use the silent luminous spell so easily.

Although the luminous spell is not a very difficult magic, but... there is no doubt that it is not easy to succeed, especially for those lower grade students.

"Well, it's not as difficult as I imagined. It just needs practice and a lot of practice." Albert found that he still couldn't use the luminous spell without making a sound.
