 The carriage swayed slightly as it drove out of Nadas City. The sound of wheels rolling across the stone road, accompanied by the rhythmic clatter of horse hooves, rang in Lin Fan's ears. He looked through the gap in the curtain at the city wall that was gradually receding. The bricks and stones on the city wall shimmered in the morning light, as if each piece carried the history and story of the city.

Lin Fan felt a faint feeling of separation in his heart. Although he only stayed in Nadas City for a short ten days, the place left a deep impression on him. The bustling streets, noisy markets, and enthusiastic people all left an indelible mark on his memory.

"What's wrong? Are you reluctant to leave?" Phoenix's voice rang in his ears, breaking Lin Fan's thoughts. There was a smile on her lips and a hint of amusement in her eyes.

Lin Fan shook his head, looked away, and leaned against the carriage. He said calmly: "It's hard to talk about it. After all, I've only been here for about ten days." His voice was not loud, but it revealed a kind of firmness and determination.

Fenghuang smiled slightly and said nothing more. She understood Lin Fan's character and knew that he was a person who would not show his emotions easily. So, she said softly: "Then you can sleep a little longer. You must still be very tired after getting up so early in the morning."

Lin Fan nodded and closed his eyes. The rocking of the carriage and the soft words of Phoenix made him feel an unprecedented sense of peace and tranquility. Thick sleep quickly swept over him, drowning him in dreams.

 The carriage was galloping on the official road, heading towards Muni City. The two-day journey was not too short for a horse-drawn carriage, but fortunately the road conditions were good and the weather was sunny, so the traveling speed was not slow.

 When Lin Fan woke up again, it was already noon. He opened his eyes and saw Phoenix sitting next to him, reading quietly with a book in his hand. The sunlight shines on her face through the gaps in the curtains, adding a bit of softness and tranquility to her.

"You're awake." Phoenix put down the book in his hand and looked at Lin Fan with a smile.

Lin Fan nodded and sat up. He stretched and felt that his body had regained a lot of energy. The scenery outside the carriage was constantly changing. Fields, villages, and rivers showed them the beauty and color of the world.

 “How long does it take to get to Mooney City?” Lin Fan asked.

 “It’s coming soon, it will be there in a few hours.” Phoenix replied.

Lin Fan nodded and said nothing more. He leaned against the carriage again and stared at the scenery outside the curtain in trance. Muni City is the capital of the Golden Wind Empire and the most prosperous and richest place in the entire empire. He is full of curiosity and expectations for this city, wondering what kind of scenery and stories there are waiting for him to discover and explore.

 The carriage continued to move forward, and time passed by little by little. As the sun gradually set in the west, they finally arrived outside the gate of Muni City. The city gate is tall and majestic, with the emblem of the Golden Wind Empire - a flying golden phoenix inlaid on it. Rows of soldiers stood on both sides of the city gate. They wore armor, held spears, and had firm eyes, giving people a majestic and inviolable feeling.

 The carriage slowly passed through the city gate and entered Muni City. The streets in the city are spacious and clean, with shops on both sides offering a wide range of goods. There is an endless stream of pedestrians, traffic and excitement. Lin Fan watched all this through the gap in the curtain, and couldn't help but sigh at the prosperity of this city.

　　After driving for a certain distance in the city, the carriage finally stopped in front of a mansion. The door of the mansion was open, and a middle-aged man in rich clothes walked out. He walked to the carriage and saluted respectfully: "Welcome Miss Phoenix back home."

 Phoenix nodded and got out of the carriage. She turned to look at Lin Fan, smiled and said, "We're here."

Lin Fan followed Fenghuang out of the carriage, looked up and saw a plaque hanging above the gate of the mansion, with three characters written on it - Fenghuang Mansion.
