Maybe it’s because Da Feng’s grades were so good that I felt a lot of pressure to write this book, especially since I have never written on this subject. As we all know, writing is about experience. If you jump out of your comfort zone, the experience of a master will be useless, so the risk of overturning is very high.

Yuewen originally wanted me to write about Xianxia, ​​but I didn't agree. It didn't mean that I had to jump out of my comfort zone and mess around, but my inspiration, accumulation, and creative enthusiasm for Xianxia were all left to Dafeng.

Lack of creative passion is very painful, and it is impossible to write high-quality content. For me to write fairy tales, it will take me several years of accumulation.

Of course, I can also write another Dafeng, and even do many details better than Dafeng, but that will definitely lack aura. It’s better to change the subject and adjust it.

I think this is why many authors keep jumping out of their comfort zones. There isn't much of a reason, it's just that I got bored writing about a certain subject.

Life is very long, and I will write many more books in the future. I can’t just focus on immortals and heroes, but I also have to write about other subjects and adjust myself.

There are bound to be ups and downs during this period, which is normal.

When Spirit Realm was first released, many people were not optimistic about it, including readers and colleagues. But in fact, it has been very well read, almost breaking a record.

But there is nothing to be proud of. The launch is just the beginning, and there is still more to come. This is the first step in a long journey of thousands of miles. If you cannot expand, you will die if you expand. So I never mentioned the results of my new book.

I used to be complacent about the achievements of my novels, but after writing Dafeng, I only have awe of writing. Only when you stand at a certain height can you know your limits and how difficult writing is.

Another thing is that I haven’t saved the manuscript. I stopped saving it a long time ago.

Many readers don't believe it, saying that you, a little fat guy, have been resting for more than half a year, how come you haven't saved any manuscripts?

In fact, during the past six months, I was resting, making outlines, and working on world views, without typing.

I only started writing the beginning in January, but the beginning was later deleted by China Literature. I revised it continuously for a month. What do you think I can save?

By the time the book was released, I only had 20,000 to 30,000 manuscripts in stock, and I revised them as I was writing, because my skills were very raw. There is no time to write the follow-up plot.

It's on the shelves today. I've just written half a chapter. Alas, I won't sleep tonight anyway. I'll write as much as I can and keep fighting until dawn.
