[CM] THE CASE

Chapter 49

There is no righteous person in the world who always does good and never sins. —Ecclesiastes Chapter 7No.20

It was already dark when Reid and JJ got to Mr. Hankle's house.

The place was difficult to find and the roads were not easy to walk. They drove through a large farmland, and the car nearly broke down several times, which scared Reid a lot.

"Don't worry." JJ didn't care, "We can walk over if the car breaks down."

Reid was even more frightened when he heard this.

After finally arriving safely, JJ also secretly breathed a sigh of relief, and was still in the mood to laugh at him: "Spence, you are so cute."

Reid puffed his cheeks: "This is a normal reaction. We are in the suburbs and there is no signal on the mobile phone. If it is really bad and we are halfway, we will really have to leave."

"It's not impossible to go." JJ pulled out the car key, "Let's go, let's visit Mr. Hankle."

Mr. Hankle looked sad and looked like a down-and-out young man who ran away from his wife. His eyes faltered across JJ's and Reid's faces, seeming to pause in the latter's face for a moment.

He only opened a crack in the door, barely revealing his pale face: "You...what's the matter?"

JJ put on a perfect smile: "Is Mr. Tobias Hankle right?"

Hankle nodded: "Yes."

"We are the FBI, can we go in?" Reid said eagerly.

Hankle didn't answer, he seemed to be greatly frightened: "F, FBI?"

"Yes, you see, I took the car for three or ten minutes, and it's always been fields... I kind of think..." Reid licked his lips, and the next request made him too embarrassed to speak.

But this does not prevent others from grasping the spirit. JJ kept smiling and whispered "Are you serious?", sounding a bit gnashed.

"Sorry..." Hankle said, "my father...he doesn't like people going in there."

Reid felt weird: "Your father? But, you are already 30 years old."

The worried face twisted for a moment, Hankle asked sternly: "At what age can you not obey your parents' wishes?"

The atmosphere was a little awkward.

JJ didn't speak, she may have scolded "Fuck" several times in her heart, but the smile on her face was perfect: "Let's keep it short. Two months ago, you reported seeing a thief outside the Kyle couple's house, yes ?"

This was originally a formulaic question, mainly used to show the purpose, but Hankle frowned, looking extra confused: "No, I didn't."

JJ also became confused: "No? You were walking the dog..."

"No no no, you must be mistaken." Hankle interrupted her, "I don't have a dog."

JJ and Reid looked at each other, and JJ said, "Okay, sorry to bother you, thank you for your time."

After Hankle politely finished his greetings, he couldn't wait to close the door.

"Strange, if he didn't, why did he make this call?" JJ asked as he descended the stairs. She had just walked down the last step when Reid threw out an answer: "To test the reaction time of the police!"

"what?"

"If you want to kill and you have to call the police in advance, what do you need to know?"

"Uh... Reid!"

Reid ran off to the back of the house without authorization.

JJ had no choice but to draw out his gun to keep up.Her sixth sense kept warning her of danger, but Reid was in front of her, so she couldn't care less.

After all, Spence was only a child, and she couldn't let him face danger alone.

The police car roared up.

It was getting late, and the car belonging to BAU was leaning against the roadside alone. Griffith checked briefly, but there was no one.

Morgan and Emily stormed into the barn, and Griffith followed Gideon and Hotch into Hankle's house.

Before coming, Griffith unfortunately saw the second video of the prisoner's madness. If it wasn't for Hotch's quick response, he wouldn't just vomit in the bathroom. Not slowing down yet. However, as soon as he stepped out of the toilet, he was asked to put on a body armor and go to the police.

"JJ and Reid are in danger," Morgan said succinctly. "Go!"

The moment Griffith stepped into the cabin, he had a hunch that no one was here.

He saw the room full of monitors, the bloodstained tiles in the bathroom, the crucifix on the fireplace in the living room, the battered Bible on the sofa.He carefully opened the book and found several torn marks.

"Nobody." Hotch put away his gun. "Where did they go?"

There is no answer.

JJ was sitting in the ambulance with a blue blanket over him. After the doctor gave her a simple examination and bandage, Emily came to ask her about her condition.

Before chatting a few words, Morgan came over and called Emily away.

"They didn't find Reid in the cornfield, he seemed to have been dragged away."

Officers received reports of sightings of the suspect. They quickly added manpower, but unfortunately it was all in vain.

Reid's whereabouts are more disturbing than the suspect's escape.

Hotch was on the phone in the living room when Griffith sneaked up to him.

Almost everyone gathered in the dining room, where there was a table big enough for them to read Hankle's life in detail - the guy's diary had an entire bookcase. It seemed that all night was inevitable.

Hotch told Garcia to come to Georgia, they had a room of computers that needed this genius analysis. Griffith waited for him to close the line before saying politely, "I want to see the second video."

"What did you say?"

"I'm trying to find as many clues as possible," Griffith said.He spoke almost in a breathy voice, afraid of being overheard by some stern old spy in the restaurant.

Hotch looked at him for a while: "You insist?"

Griffith looked him straight in the eye. "I insist."

Hotch glanced at the restaurant, where Gideon had his back to them.

"Then follow me," Hotch said, picking up his laptop and heading upstairs.

"First of all, just say yes, just this once, if there is anything wrong, I will interrupt immediately, understand?"

Griffith nodded. His fingers twisted the bracelet, and a shallow mark was drawn.

"let's begin."

Hotch clicked the play button.

The background is the barn outside the house. The woman is thinly dressed, her hands are firmly bound, her mouth is sealed with tape, and there is only a muffled sob.

The man in the black coat sits in front of the camera and begins to read from the Bible.

The black vicious dog barked wildly, pawing and tugging at the iron cage.

He felt fear and pain, and the sharp canine teeth pierced the flesh, and the pain was no better than a knife. The smell of blood stimulated these beasts, and they became more and more crazy.

It hurts, very painful.

Griffith huddled into a ball.He grabbed the edge of the table with one hand, his veins bulged, and he almost broke a piece of wood.

He thought vaguely: "That person... what about the person who kidnapped her?"

He was watching.

Griffith couldn't see what he looked like, he was hiding behind the camera in the video, but in the hallucination, he existed.

He seemed very unbearable to watch, talking to himself all the time, trembling nervously.

"Split personality..." Griffith thought, "We already know that."

His focus fell on the dog again.

"This is no ordinary dog." Griffith realized this belatedly. "This is a hound."

Hotch gave him a sharp push.

"Are you okay?" Boss yelled into his ear.

Griffith still looked a little dazed.

Waves of cold sweat broke out on his body, and his shirt was already soaked. The hand that was gripping the table desperately was a little cramped, Griffith slowly loosened his fingers and moved for a while.

"Those dogs are hounds," he whispered. "He used to hunt. These dogs are well-trained. Injury is not an accident, it's part of the training."

Hotch patted him on the shoulder: "Got it, I'll think about it."

The boy is only in his teens, the age of youthful vigor and ignorance.Although he has a crazy dad, but this does not hinder his playful nature.

Hiding behind the truck, he quietly pulled out a handful of glass marbles.

This thing is so beautiful, it took him a lot of effort to win it over from his classmates.

The Hound came and rubbed his hand. His family's hound is getting old, and he has recently had sex with a bitch, and soon a litter of puppies will be born, which will become a member of their family, no, many members.

But he liked the old hound, who had saved him every time he was lost in the woods. This made him couldn't help hugging the hound's neck.

"What are you doing?" His father suddenly appeared behind him, and he shivered in fright.

His father snorted contemptuously, pulled his hair up, and pulled him up from the ground regardless of his cries of pain.

Glass marbles scattered all over the place.

A gun was stuffed in his hand. It was a very long penis, and he had to hold it with all his strength.

The father tied the hound with a rope, and the animal kept barking.

"Kill it." His father's instructions were simple and clear. "Taking the life of an animal is a powerful thing, and you need this experience."

"No...I don't want to." He was on the verge of tears, but tears would bring him no forgiveness.

"Kill it, boy," said the father impatiently. "Coward!"

"I don't... ah!"

□□Fall to the ground with him.

"Get up!" Dad shoved the gun roughly into his hand and pulled the trigger amidst his cries.

The faithful dog fell.

The father let go of his hand, the boy's arms were numb from the shock, and the heavy gun fell to the ground, raising a cloud of dust.

The tall man is like a shadow, covering the thin child.

"waste."
