[Gotham] Jerome's Little Bad
Chapter 7 The police station was attacked
After an absolutely crushing wooden warehouse battle, Jerome's men were still searching for survivors, and Greenwood shot a police officer who was still struggling.
"The first week, Chief, is not going well." Jerome tossed his police cap casually, whistled, and said to Chief Eisen who was tied to the chair.
Eisen looked at those colleagues on the ground who didn't know how to live or die, those police officers who were fighting for justice in Gotham, angry and sad, but there was nothing he could do.
Jerome took off his police uniform jacket slowly. "I wish I could say that things will get better in the future."
Jerome's tone was a little falsely comforting, but he changed the topic, "They're not. (But they won't.)"
He threw his coat out and turned to Greenwood who was holding the camera, "Come on, take it up, and find a better angle to take pictures of the whole room."
Like a real master photographer, Jerome gestured with his hands to find the light.
The scene in the camera seems to be lit with dim yellow lights, and white snowflakes are sometimes flashing, which looks gloomy and terrifying.
Eisen suppressed the grief and indignation in his heart, and asked him inexplicably, "Why did you do this?"
"Rule the world." Jerome said an "official" (official) answer solemnly, then tilted his head and said jokingly, "bulabula."
"But we can be satisfied if we can kill the police and show off."
"Just kidding." Jerome said it as a joke, but it seemed like he really meant it.
"Whatever! I get it, you're a lunatic." Director Eisen couldn't hold back his disdain and resentment when he heard Jerome's "outrageous words".
"Crazy (crazy)" Jerome looked at her with a gloomy expression, walked up to Eisen and knelt down, at eye level with her.
"Look at me, you can tell I'm not crazy." Jerome put his hands on his chest and looked at Eisen seriously.
"Boy, soon, you will die. The world will go on without you, and you will be nothing, and no one will even remember your name."
Jerome rested his chin on one hand, looking like a student who was seriously listening to the class.
"Umm," Jerome thought about something, pointed at Eisen, and elongated his tone, "No (no)."
He stood up, condescending, "You are wrong, old woman, we are leaving our mark on this city."
Jerome approached Eisen's ear, his voice was low and hoarse, "We will spread like a virus, do you know why?"
"Because laughter is the most contagious." Greenwood answered with a smile while holding a camera.
In the camera, Jerome smiled and took out the wooden warehouse from his waist, facing a wooden warehouse in this direction, and then Greenwood screamed and fell down.
Fritz picked up the thrown camera and continued to shoot, "Whoa, the world is quiet. (Wow, the world is quiet)."
"Myline. (My lines)." Jerome faced the shocked Eisen, laughing wildly, "There's nothing more contagious than laughter. (Laughter is the most contagious)"
Eisen looked at Jerome's complacent look, and suddenly spit on his face.
Jerome restrained his smile, which seemed a bit unacceptable, but he still thought in his heart, "It's so refreshing."
He approached Eisen and said provocatively, "Doitagain."
Taking advantage of this opportunity, Eisen slammed his head hard on Jerome's face, "This will leave a mark on you."
Fritz immediately stepped forward and gave Director Eisen a gun butt on the head, which made Eisen dizzy. After all, it took a lot of force and even bled.
"Hey, bitch. It teaches you manners. (Old woman, this teaches you what manners are)."
And the bridge of Jerome's nose was also bleeding because of Eisen's blow, but he didn't care at all, and still laughed, "It was done by you."
"Myturn. (It's my turn)." Although half of his face was covered in blood, Jerome still laughed like a little devil crawling out of hell.
Gordon, who fainted in the alley, managed to wake up. He picked up the wooden warehouse, stood up with difficulty and walked to the police station.
At this time, the Gotham Police Department has encountered the greatest crisis in history. Most of the police officers fell there with gun holes on their bodies, and some were still struggling slightly. There were not even a few intact police officers in the police station.
When Gordon returned to the police station and saw such a scene, he stood there for a while in disbelief, "Xiao Lai"
Xiao Lai, who was looking at the wounded, turned his head, "Jim!"
"Are you hurt?"
"No, I was in the office and hid when I heard the sound of wooden warehouses outside. Where did you go?"
Xiao Lai looked at the scars and blood on Gordon's face, wanted to touch it but didn't dare.
"Barbara came and led me out."
When Gordon went to Eisen, she already had a gunshot wound on her chest and was short of breath from bleeding. But she persisted and encouraged Gordon.
"It's a new day, Jim."
The upright police inspector, who also regards fighting criminals as his lifelong career, said goodbye to this still dark Gotham and the world after showing one last smile to Gordon.
There was video of the Mad Men attacking the Gotham Police Department on TV, recorded by poor Greenwood and Fritz.
I saw a flash of snowflakes, and in the dark police station, Jerome's bloody face appeared on the screen, "Hello, Gotham City. (Gotham City is good!)"
"We are the Crazy Gang." Jerome zoomed out, and Fritz also appeared on the screen, a delicate and beautiful little girl.
Jerome held the camera in one hand, shook his head, looked very happy, and even spoke with a brisk tone.
"I'm Jerome, leader of our little gang, and we're here to spread a message of wisdom and hope."
Jerome was disturbed by the police officer who was reclining on the chair and gasping for breath. He lowered his face, took out the wooden box and gave it to the unfortunate police officer.
"Some people are really rude."
Jerome puts his face close to the camera, eyes full of indifference.
Although the video is not clear and flashes from time to time, people can still see the tragedy in the police station and Jerome's madness.
"You are all prisoners, your so-called normal is just a cage in your mind."
He held the camera away, as if holding a small stone, "so that you can't see clearly, you are just a small cog in a huge and ridiculous machine."
Jerome suddenly yelled facing the camera, his eyes were as sharp as sword lights, piercing people's hearts through the screen, "Wakeup. (Wake up!)"
There was demagogic madness in his voice.
"Why be a cog, like us, be free!"
"Justremember, □□ile. (Remember, smile.)"
Jerome smiled and turned his head to play with the face of the officer who was shot, trying to make him smile.
Then came the siren of the police car, and Jerome made a panicked expression, "It's time to go. (It's time to go.)"
He put the camera down, and the people followed suit, "But don't worry, we'll be back soon."
Jerome put his cap back on, and if it wasn't for the blood and the maniacal grin, he'd look like an honest police officer.
"Get ready, guys."
He made a gesture of waving his hands, "That's nothing!"
After speaking, he burst out laughing, and the screen went black.
"The first week, Chief, is not going well." Jerome tossed his police cap casually, whistled, and said to Chief Eisen who was tied to the chair.
