[Gotham] Jerome's Little Bad

Chapter 25 Attack on the Penguin

It was another repeating night, and the penguin, who had finally kindled hope for a good night's sleep, was once again taken away from the cell by a harness.

Jerome stood on the table and tightened the sling, watching the penguin being brought in. "Allright, Oswald, old man."

The hooded penguin was pushed onto the table, and Jerome stretched the noose, "Tonight, we're going to cure you. Make me laugh, or you'll suffer the consequences."

"Let's call it, the quick-death session." Then put the sling around the penguin's neck.

Jerome looked at the unresponsive person, pulled off his hood with a sullen face, and looked at the person in front of him in surprise, "Dietrich"

Standing in front of Jerome was the helpless, incontinent Dietrich.

At this time, the penguin rushed out from nowhere, and Jerome jumped off the table as if he had eyes behind him.

The light bulb connected to the wire exploded on the table, just touching the liquid and electrocuting the little fool Dietrich on it.

Seeing this scene, Fritz, who was tense, lazily leaned back on the chair, not knowing what fun things Jerome would do next.

Jerome got interested, and Penguin hammered his legs with both hands, regretting why he didn't kill Jerome.

"Well, pretty clever." Jerome dropped the sackcloth hood and turned to the penguin.

The panicked penguin hurriedly picked up the fork on the table and pointed it at Jerome.

Jerome, who was slowly adjusting the straps on his clothes, felt bored, "Yeah, what kind of spoon is that?"

The penguin jumped and yelled, "It's still a fork!"

"It seems that you still have some fighting spirit, but it's too little, too late, and..." Jerome sighed, "It's too boring."

Jerome gestured with his hand, "Do a lobotomy on that little bird."

Jerome, who had given up on the penguin, turned around, not wanting to waste any more time on him.

"Wait!" the penguin yelled, and although Jerome was unmoved, the others who wanted to rein in the penguin stopped when they saw Fritz waving.

"You said this prison is all in my head," Penguin pointed to Jerome with one hand and his own head with the other.

At this, Jerome turned, wondering what else the little penguin could say.

Seeing the hope of life, Penguin worked harder, "Maybe, I am in a prison right now. You can't catch me here."

The penguin made a few weird gestures, and suddenly it was like touching glass, where there was a real glass separating him from Jerome.

Such a penguin caught Jerome's attention and made him smile happily.

This encouraged Penguin, whose show was still going on, Penguin groping around, as if touching the iron fence on one side, and waving at Jerome through the fence.

Jerome laughed, reaching out to the crowd nearby, and took a stick with a sharp knife attached to it.Walking into Penguin, looking at the smug smile on his face, "You are really crazy."

Just when the sharp knife stabbed the penguin, everyone thought that this guy was going to die.

But the sharp knife in Jerome's hand stopped ten inches in front of the penguin, as if no matter how hard Jerome tried to make it go.

Frustrated, Jerome pulled out his sharp knife, and the penguin held the fence and smiled triumphantly.Jerome hit the penguin with a knife in disbelief, as if blocked by a railing.

Jerome took the knife and knocked in front of the penguin, as if there was really a wall blocking him and the penguin.

Jerome reached out to touch, and all he could touch was the door. He grabbed the door frame and jumped up, trying to jump to the penguin's cell.

Everyone looked at them with great interest, only Friz couldn't help but feel drowsy, and she didn't know why Jerome was always so energetic, it was really...

And Jerome, who was complained, was still playing the game of "here is a wall" with the penguins.

The penguin pointed sideways to Jerome, as if pushing away a large rock.Jerome tried to walk in, but bumped his head because of his height, which caused everyone to laugh.

Jerome stooped into the penguin's cell, frowning as if dissatisfied with the small space.

Penguin grabbed Jerome by the shoulders, put a knee on Jerome's stomach, and knocked him to the ground.

Everyone cheered, only Friz sighed sullenly.

Penguin hits Jerome with an air weapon in the face, kicks Jerome hard a few times, and laughs at him like Jerome is just a bug and he's still the "King of Gotham."

Everyone around fell silent, only the penguin was still yelling at Jerome with blood on his face, "Laugh again! You bloody redhead!"

The penguin opened its arms happily and shouted to everyone, "Yes! Aha!"

But everyone looked at him strangely and in disbelief, as if a warrior might be a fool.

"Hahaha," the familiar laughter from behind made the penguin's insolent laugh disappear on his face.

Jerome sat up, waving his hands and laughing like he saw some super funny comedy, and pointed at the penguin, "Look, I just said I'll cure you."

"Don't be smug!" Penguin yelled.

"Do it again," Jerome said to the penguin, pointing to his bloody face, and the penguin was kicked to the ground by Fritz before the penguin could stretch out its kick.

"Hi," Jerome looked at her dissatisfiedly, and shouted irritably, "my game is not over yet!"

"So far, myboy, I think it's almost there."

"Ah, this is so boring!" Jerome yelled, "You have to make it up to me!"

Penguin was writing something in his cell, when the door was opened suddenly, he quickly stood up and stepped back.

It was Jerome who entered, and the Arkham prison guard who opened the door.

"Relax, buddy." Seeing the penguin trembling, Jerome waved his hand at him, "You have satisfied me and made me have a good laugh."

Then Jerome was a little bit regretful, "Although there is a little flaw, it's okay, no one will bother you now."

Jerome lay down directly on the penguin's bed, with his hands behind his head, his legs crossed, his body stretched, and his eyes closed to rest.

"Tell me, you seem to have everyone here under control. Guards, prisoners..."

"No way, I'm just that attractive," Jerome said flippantly.

Penguin closed his eyes angrily as if it didn't make sense, "You can run away at any time, why stay?"

Jerome frowned when he heard this, opened his eyes and looked at the ceiling, as if thinking about this question seriously, "Yeah, why?"

Penguin smiled triumphantly, "What are you planning?"

"That's right, old chap." Jerome waved his hands across his chest. "Plan...something great."

"You see, I stay on this happy farm to find the ultimate madness." Jerome looked at the penguin and sat up. "That's why I need you."

The penguin smiled in disbelief, folded his hands and listened attentively.Jerome also laughed, his laughter was sharp and strange, and his eyes flashed with malice.

"You understand," the smile on Jerome's face disappeared, "but when we're done, the outside world will become a madhouse. What do you think?"

Penguin watched and flashed an evil smile on Jerome's face, and was a little surprised by his crazy words, "Thank you for your kind invitation."

Then Penguin walked over and sat on the bench in front of the bed with his back to Jerome, with a faint smile on his face, "But I probably won't stay here for too long."

Jerome stood up gently, and put his hands on the penguin's shoulders, causing the penguin to close its eyes in fright, "You will figure it out."

Jerome leaned close to the penguin's ear, whispering like a lover, "They'll figure it out."

Straightening up, Jerome also took a hair off the penguin's shoulder, and then left with his hands behind his back, whistling.

Penguin looked at Jerome who was walking away, his eyes were full of resentment and repressed hatred, "Nope! (I won't!)"

Then put a letter addressed to Edward Nigma in the mail cart.
