The first meal at Hogwarts was not pleasant. The new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, Professor Umbridge's hypocritical accent, squeaky sweet voice and powdery clothes, every bit stimulated Wendy's brain.

She couldn't eat dinner after only a few mouthfuls, and the other students were not much better, and they seemed equally unacceptable to a professor whose every sentence couldn't be separated from the word Ministry of Magic (although most of them didn't listen to her, but Impressed because "Ministry of Magic" has been repeated so many times.)

They sat on the train all afternoon, and as soon as they put down their forks, they wanted to lie down on the bed and have a good sleep.

In the flow of people leaving the hall, Wendy saw the twin brothers all at once. They were really too tall, and they would rush into sight without looking for them at all.

They also saw Wendy, they slowed down and waited for Wendy to come to their side.

"Are there many classes this semester?" Fred leaned slightly as he spoke.

"It's about the same as you." Wendy thought for a while and said, "I didn't apply for elective courses."

"Is there any class tomorrow afternoon?" George bent over, poked his head out and glanced at Wendy.

"No class." Wendy thought about it, and she suddenly realized, "See you at the old place?"

"Five o'clock." Fred gestured.

At this moment, Lee Jordan caught up with the twins and gave each of them a blow on the back of the head.

When he saw Wendy, he had a meaningful expression on his face, winked at George, and then glanced at Fred.

Wendy ran away in embarrassment.

Wendy arrived at the professor's room at the appointed time, and the twins had already arrived.

Their short hair made Wendy a little uncomfortable.

"Hi." Wendy stood behind them and greeted them.

"Hi, Wendy." The two turned around from different directions, facing Wendy who was standing in the middle, and responded in unison.

Wendy froze for a moment, looked at them and blinked.

"It feels like the sound passes from the left ear to the right ear." Wendy said, making a movement of pulling the wire from left to right.

The two smiled at Wendy together, with exactly the same smile.

Wendy pursed her lips, walked around in front of them, looked at the various gadgets spread out on the table, and said enthusiastically, "Is it all here? I've been looking forward to it for a long time."

"Fred didn't send you a sample?" George asked, watching Wendy carefully pinch one end of the stretch ear.

"No." Wendy looked at the realistic "ear" curiously, and replied subconsciously, "Fred didn't send it to me, but he wrote it to me in detail, and we discussed it."

"So you guys have a vacation correspondence?" George whispered into Fred's ear.

Fred bumped George's arm, and said in a low voice, "Be quiet."

"I thought your 'chat' had gone the other way," George quipped. "Poor Fred."

"Didn't any of you show me how to use this?" Wendy asked loudly, holding up the extendable ears.

"Oh, this..." Fred took it and explained.

George looked at the two people who had come together, their heads almost touching, and smiled.

Showing new products and new plans, George said: "We plan to hire some extracurricular temporary workers to experiment with new products for us."

"Oh." Fred snapped his fingers, and took out a piece of paper from his pocket, "We have written the notice."

Wendy took it, and it read:

Plenty of Galleons

Not enough pocket money to cover your expenses?Want to earn a little more gold? Please contact Fred and George Weasley in the Gryffindor Common Room for a simple and almost painless casual after-school job.

"How is it?" George asked.

"Did it not stand out enough?" Fred said. "We'll transcribe it on bigger paper when we get back."

"Can you already afford temporary workers?" Wendy looked at them suspiciously.

"Well, we have our first investment." Fred said proudly, "The source is confidential, but it is a large sum of money."

"Well, congratulations." Wendy congratulated them, and then said, "Is there any danger in doing this? I think you should mention it and let them prepare."

"Yes, that's right." Fred took the paper, fumbled in his pocket for a long time, and pulled out a quill with a broken feather. He licked the tip of the pen with his tongue, and added a sentence on the paper.

Wendy looked at Fred's actions uncomfortably, especially the flickering of the tip of his tongue, but when she turned to the newly added sentence, all the uneasiness was squeezed away by surprise.

"Sorry, all jobs are at the applicant's own risk." Wendy read out, and she looked at Fred again, "That's not what I meant."

"We paid a lot of money," George said.

"However, if there is..." Wendy hesitated to speak.

"It's not that bad. We've been experimenting before, so we're still alive and kicking." George folded the notice.

"Then you should be careful too."

"I got it, I got it, Wright is always right." Fred blinked at Wendy, "Yes, Miss Correct (Note)."

Wendy glared at Fred, seemingly dissatisfied with this statement.

The first exchange meeting of this semester is over.

The twin brothers watched Wendy go up the stairs to the basement before walking up together.

"Are you chasing her?" George shoved Fred.

Fred coughed: "Quickly use the twins' telepathy to read my heart."

"You like her," said George.

"You don't like her?" Fred's eyes widened, as if it should be taken for granted.

"I like her too." George said sternly, "We are twins, it's normal to like the same girl."

A panicked expression flashed across Fred's face, and was immediately replaced by a pretended relaxed expression.

George could see that Fred was really panicked, he couldn't help laughing, patting the handrail of the stairs with one hand, covering his belly with the other, laughing loudly: "It seems that you really like her .”

Overwhelmed, Fred slapped his twin brother hard on the back.

"Don't worry, we seem to be a little different at last." George laughed enough before straightening up, "I like other girls."

"Who?" Fred asked, raising his eyebrows in surprise, "I didn't notice."

"You're worrying about your love, and you don't pay attention to other girls, of course," said George. "We're all doing our own thing."

Fred wanted to ask who it was, but George fell silent.

With this question in mind, Fred didn't sleep well for several nights.

Professor Umbridge's inspection of the corridors of Hogwarts made a large number of students prefer to stay in the dormitory rather than walk in the corridors.

Wendy ran into Fred again, and saw him hiding furtively behind the turning wall. While looking in one direction with his head, he took out the extendable ear from his pocket and put it on the ground. Follow it and pull the string around the corner.

"What are you looking at?" Wendy walked over curiously, and asked Fred, who was bent over and put the other end of the retractable ear close to her ear, and poked his head out to see what was there.

As soon as she made this move, Fred put his arms around her shoulders and pressed her back, and then was hugged into his arms.

"Hush—" Fred said to Wendy.

Wendy turned her head to look at Fred's hand on her shoulder, but she didn't dare to move.
