"Luna, what brings you here so early?" Ginny asked, kneading the dough for the sweet buns.

Luna walked briskly into the kitchen where dinner was being prepared.Ginny shook her head at the picture.Luna's blond hair fluttered down her back, with different flowers blooming in each direction. She is wearing black stockings and a skirt full of flowers.

Her bright blue eyes were blank, but her smile warmed Ginny as always.

"I've come to see Arthur. I promised him I'd bring him a Muggle popcorn machine."

Ginny shook her head. She wasn't surprised her father wanted another gadget.

To the astonishment of Ginny and the Weasley boys, Luna and Arthur are drawn to each other during the funeral and housecleaning.

Ginny never told her brothers, but she was sure that the only reason her father could accept her mother's death was that Luna was there with him, helping him through it.

"I'm sure he'll be delighted to have it. He's in the shed," said Ginny, kneading the dough.

Luna's smile deepened.

"Oh that's great! I can't wait to show him how this Humplefranks makes popcorn!"

Luna ran out of the kitchen, leaving Ginny alone again.

Ginny put the bread in the oven and continued cooking, reflecting on the past few months.

After being released from St. Mungo's, Ginny was busy with Bill planning the funeral.Sadly, it wasn't just her mom and Ron's funerals to plan. They were going to help Remus bury Tonks, and Hagrid's brother Grip.

Ginny had been in a mess. Not only remembering her lost family, but also trying to get over the fact that Snape didn't love her and never would. She gave the man her bleeding heart, thinking his tenderness to her was a response to her affection.God, she felt like a fool. The whole relationship was about him taking pity on her.

Worse, because the whole family is grieving, that means she has to be strong for them.

The reason she's been able to get through the past three months is because of Remus helping her.

Ginny smiled as she recalled the support she'd received from Remus when she thought she wouldn't make it through.

The unconditional love his son Teddy Lupine showed her soothed her soul.

She loved this little boy very much.He was always very lively, which she must have inherited from his mother. He also has Tonks' uncanny power to change the color of his hair according to his mood. He'll even change his hair to the same color as hers when he sees her.

Ginny knew she wouldn't have coped so well if it wasn't for Remus and Teddy.

And Harry.Even though Ginny told him that she no longer loved him as a lover, he still seemed obsessed with getting her back.It was a little irritating, but Ginny knew that he would soon realize that her fate was no longer tied to his.

Hermione was like those people who lost their fiancés.She always came to the Burrow, and they cried and laughed together at the memories of Molly and Ron.Aside from being with Remus, Ginny really enjoyed those times, and her brothers seemed to think that if they kept showing their strong side by her side, that meant they wouldn't grieve with her.

They will not fail to comfort her when she is sad.But sometimes, it's nice to have someone to share your pain with and have a good cry with.

"Hello! Is anyone there?"

"In the kitchen," Ginny called.

Remus walked into the kitchen with Teddy lying on his back sucking his thumb.

Remus wore a pair of black trousers and a purple button-down shirt, as well as a black robe.Teddy wears a children's robe full of moving dragons.

Ginny put down the spoon and hugged the two of them.

"It's good to have you two here today. How's my handsome little man?" Ginny asked, pinching little Teddy's cheek.

"Not too bad. I'm pretty decent watching a two-year-old running around."

Ginny rolled her eyes, but couldn't help laughing.

"I'm talking about my little man," she said.

Teddy clucked and held out his arms to her.

Ginny hugged him happily and kissed him all over his chubby cheeks.

"Well, it's not a bad thing to try to get a compliment from a glamorous lady."

Ginny blushed and focused on Teddy.

She cleared her throat.

"Well then, can I say that you are very handsome today?"

Remus laughed.

"Well, yes."

Ginny turned completely around with Teddy in her arms, her face very red.

Apparently, the longer Ginny spent with Remus, the more handsome he found him. When she was younger, she didn't really pay attention. After all, when he was a professor at Hogwarts, the female students were too busy passing out.Ginny had never seen him that way.Instead, he's the calm professor who gives you chocolate when bad things happen.

Now... well, it's nearly impossible to ignore his appeal right now.He had a mix of gray sandy brown hair, his warm brown eyes and his kind heart, and Ginny was surprised it had taken her so long to find out.

He keeps flirting with her, which makes things even more complicated. He seemed to take great pleasure in seeing her blush, and would do anything to get her to admit that she found him attractive.

Ginny never expected that her relationship with Remus would become like this.Even trepidation because she doesn't mind this relationship change. She really thought that after Snape dumped her, she wouldn't be interested in men anymore.

When she decided to spend the night with him one night, the first time she met Remus without his shirt on, she realized how wrong she was.Seeing that scene, she almost melted into a puddle of water.

Since then, their relationship has become something of a wacky romance/friendship in-between.She was sure it was going to be more romantic, but Ginny didn't want to rush it.She enjoyed having Remus as a friend and would do anything to keep it that way.

Teddy grabbed the spoon in the bowl.

"Hey, don't touch the food. The guests won't be happy if it gets spoiled." Ginny scowled at Teddy, taking his hand off the spoon.

"Come on, I'll take care of him so you can cook." Remus suggested.

Ginny turned to him, her expression returning to normal.

When Ginny handed Teddy back, he started crying.

"Oh, don't cry, Teddy. Go to your daddy like a big kid, okay?"

Teddy continued to cry, but Ginny could only smile slightly as Remus hugged him.

"If you have some time before dinner, can we talk privately?" Remus asked across the sobbing child.

Ginny hated the way her cheeks were flushed.

"Of course, Remus. We can talk."

"Great. We'll talk about it then."

Before leaving, he kissed Ginny on the cheek.Because of the contact, Ginny's body seemed to be on fire.

Ginny rubbed her cheek.

Damn, I need to go to bed.

Ginny went on cooking dinner. She's not Molly Weasley. But the skill was ingrained in her as a child, and she knew that with practice, she might rival her mother.

Hermione was the second to arrive at the Burrow. She was with Ginny all the time while Ginny was cooking.More and more people arrived, Minister of Magic Kingsley Shacklebolt, Mad-Eye Moody, Professor McGonagall, Bill and Fleur, Charlie, Fred and George and their girlfriends.

At this time, Luna and Arthur had just left the shed, and everyone was talking and teasing Teddy Lupine.

Ginny polished the last dish, then pushed Hermione out to join in the conversation.

At this moment, Remus walked into the kitchen.

"Dinner smells great, Kim," he said, leaning against the counter she was using.

Ginny had to hold back her blushing.

"Yeah, let's hope it tastes just as good. Mom tried to teach me how to cook, but I'm not as good at it as she is."

"I'm sure it's perfect, Ginny."

Ginny blushed, but ignored it and cleared her throat.

"Thank you, Remus. So what do you want to talk to me about?"

Remus smiled at her, and once again Ginny felt like she was melting to the floor.

"I know it's been a tough couple of months for both of us. I don't want to rush you, but my feelings for you have changed a lot."

Ginny went to another part of the kitchen.Being near him would make her brain go crazy.

"Well, I hope it doesn't turn into hate," Ginny stammered.

"In fact, quite the opposite."

Ginny could feel him standing behind her.He took off her oven mitts and gently turned her towards him.

She looked up at him.He seemed quite serious about what he had to say.

He pulled her towards him, put his hand on her hip, and cupped her cheek with the other.

"I don't know how it started, but I started feeling in love with you. I tried to hold it in for as long as possible because I know you have a lot to deal with right now, but if the war has taught me anything, it's that life is hard short."

Ginny could only stare at him.Seriously, his touch and his touch was something her body hadn't felt since Snape last touched her.

"Would you like to go out with me next Saturday? I've got Teddy a sitter. I can understand if it's too soon—"

Ginny put her hand over his mouth and smiled at him.

Remus was right. She can pin the rest of her life to a man who doesn't want her anymore, or with a man she wants and wants her too.

"I'd love to go out with you next Saturday, Remus."

Remus smiled at her.

"I'm glad you accepted. Is it okay if I kiss you now?" he asked.

Ginny held his head down with Gryffindor vivacity.

His lips were soft but firm, covering hers.He just focused on kissing her lightly, his tongue tracing the slit of her lips softly.Ginny opened her mouth as he devoured hers, introducing her to a whole new world of pleasure.

Remus's kiss felt different from Snape's; it was patient, gentle, almost caressing, whereas Snape's was passionate and possessive. It was also different from Harry's asking, because Ginny's whole body was on fire, and all she wanted to do was push something off the counter and let him have her in the kitchen while forcing herself to kiss him.

Suddenly, Ginny heard someone clear her throat.

She immediately jumped up from beside Remus, her face unmistakably like a tomato.

Ginny looked towards the door and almost passed out when she saw Harry and Snape standing in the kitchen doorway.

"Oh, Harry! You're late." Ginny blurted out, unable to take her eyes off Snape's opaque face.

Harry just stared at them dumbfounded and said nothing.

Ginny looked at Remus, who was staring at Snape.

"I think you and Harry will need a little privacy. I'll speak to you again tonight to set up a date," he said.

Remus leaned down, gave Ginny another fiery kiss, and walked away, ignoring Snape completely.

Snape looked away from Ginny and walked out of the kitchen.

Ginny sighed and continued to polish the dishes.

"So, I guess you weren't lying when you said you didn't love me as a lover anymore," Harry said in a heavy silence.

"I know you'll understand eventually. I'm just sorry you found out this way," Ginny said sincerely.

She turned to face Harry.

He didn't look angry, sad, or disappointed. He was just brooding.

"I accept your view of our relationship. I just have one question."

"What is it?" Ginny asked, curious what Harry wanted to know.

"What happened between you and Snape during the war?"

Ginny's stomach filled with fear. She betrayed him and he should know. She at least owed him an explanation.

"It's a long story. I'll tell you another time, okay? Dinner is about to start, and I don't think it's a good idea to start a conversation like this before then."

"That's fair, but at least answer me this. Did you make out with Snape when we were together?"

Ginny closed her eyes and sighed.

"Yes." She replied simply.

Harry watched her calmly, then walked over to give her a hug.

"I don't know why, but that doesn't make me mad. I think I probably knew all along what was going on between the two of you. I'd love to hear the whole story someday."

Ginny relaxed in relief in his arms.

"I'll give you all the details...well, maybe not all the details. But you deserve to know how it happened."

Harry kissed Ginny's hair lightly, then let her go.

"I just want you to be happy, Kim. That's what I really want. If it's with Remus or even with Snape, then do it."

Ginny smiled.

"Thanks, Harry. That means a lot to me. Now, you can help me get my food to the dining room."

B~*B~*B~*B

After escaping a rowdy dinner, Ginny headed to the bathroom.

She smiled at the laughter from the kitchen. This is what they need after losing so much in the war.

She's still very sad that she'll never hear her mother's urging or see her brother wolf down his food, but she's accepting every bit of each day and living it as best she can.

When Ginny walked to the second floor, she was suddenly pulled into an empty bedroom.

She knew it was Snape by the smell and the strength of his grip on her arm.

He pulled her into the dark bedroom.

When Ginny finally got a good look at his face, she wasn't surprised to find that he was quite annoyed with her.

"So that's what you do? To be that wolf's chew toy?"

He gripped her arm tighter.

"Let go of me, you scumbag," Ginny said, struggling to break free from him.

"Do you know what he can do to you? Do you realize what he can do? If you stay with him, he will kill you without a doubt."

Ginny kicked Snape in the shin.

Snape let go of her arm with a curse.

"Why do you care? Who I decide to see has nothing to do with you anymore, Severus Snape. In fact, you don't even have the right to ask me again. What you did to me the day after the final battle was unacceptable." Forgive. You know I love you. You know I would do anything to be with you. But you broke up with me, didn't you? You may be right, our relationship in wartime is not realistic at all, But that doesn't mean you can't try to make it a better relationship. Since you're a war hero, you don't have the desire to be with a little Weasley anymore, whoever you want. I'm sorry You are useless."

Now, Ginny was completely pissed off.The anger and frustration she had been suppressing against him all summer finally burst out.Ginny poked her finger in his chest, tears streaming down her face (but she didn't notice).

"You were so bad that you couldn't even wait for my mother and brother to be buried before you broke up with me. All you wanted was to get rid of me. To think that during the war, even after you killed Dumbledore, I thought you were a good man , was just misunderstood. When you screamed my name when we were making out and you hugged me in bed, I thought you might love me. Now it's obvious I was wrong. To you For me, I'm just a goddamn pastime."

Ginny turned and folded her arms across her chest.

"Well, I'm done with your stupid games, Snape. If that means I'm that wolf's 'chew toy', so be it. At least that bloody wolf really wants me. He doesn't Play games with me, he's more willing to work hard to start a relationship with me. It's none of your business how it turns out. I'd appreciate it if we could go our separate ways."

During the rant, Snape said nothing.

Ginny was shaking with emotion, trying not to sob herself in front of the bastard.

Snape left the room.

Ginny didn't care. She and Severus Snape ended forever.
