[HP] Don't talk to me

Chapter 13 Mistakes

I was taken aback by Bryce's appearance, but I immediately comforted myself that he should be another customer who came here by chance, after all, this is a potions shop, and he is the potions professor.

Bryce was wearing a brown leather jacket, a black messenger bag, and a pair of black-rimmed glasses on his face.To be honest, he looks really handsome, except for the fatal shortcoming of his relatively short stature, he looks really youthful and clean.

"Give me a dozen daisy roots, five sapweeds... oh, that's wrong, it's a mandrake." Bryce took out a crumpled note from his trouser pocket, and squinted at it. The list, stammeringly told the clerk to pick up things.

"What else do you want? There's a new batch of moonstones here, good stuff." Seeing a big customer coming, the clerk got excited and kept selling. "Armadillo bile, how about armadillo bile, think about it, buy two dozen for a discount."

Bryce, who seemed to buy very little, looked increasingly embarrassed by the enthusiasm of the store staff. He blushed and rebuffed in a low voice: "No, I want those..."

"Horn camel horns, lacewing insects, puffer fish eyes, look at these, how fresh!" The clerk just woke up, full of energy, regardless of Bryce's feeble protest, and continued to spit.

I originally wanted to remain invisible and wait for Snape to appear. But seeing Bryce's situation became a little awkward, he couldn't bear to see him suffer anymore, so he sighed and took the initiative to reveal himself.

"Ante," I called the clerk's name, and walked forward with a smile. "Let me introduce you, this is our new head of Potions class at Hogwarts, Professor Evans."

Bryce watched in amazement as I appeared behind the counter.

"What, Professor Snape doesn't teach Potions anymore?" Ante finally stopped bombarding Bryce and turned to me.

"Yes, so I think Professor Evans will patronize your store for a long time in the future." I blinked and said pointedly, "Maybe, let Professor Evans go shopping by himself for a while now." better."

Ante immediately understood what I meant, nodded and said, "Okay, I'll pack up what Professor Evans asked for immediately. Professor Evans, you need me to help you arrange for the owl to deliver the things to you directly." Do you want to go to school? Please write down your address."

Bryce looked at me gratefully.

"No, I'll take it back myself." He opened his satchel, packed the ingredients for the potion, and then took out his wallet to pay.

As I waited for Ant to walk away to pack his things, I looked at him and asked, "Why are you here?"

"I really want to ask you the same thing," Bryce said. "It's weird, I feel like I rarely go out, but when I go out, I always run into you. Remember the first time we talked? The day I just walked to Get some air outside, and I saw you flying down from the sky."

"I love Diagon Alley, so I often come here to hang out."

"Me too. When I returned to the UK, I lived here for a while, but I haven't been to other places much."

"But why did you come here to buy potions? In fact, you only need to write an order at school, and the store will deliver it to school for you. The postage is cheap and much more convenient." I tore off a sticky note from the counter, "How about I I will write you the addresses of a few potion shops, and you will write to them directly at school to place an order."

"You seem to be very familiar with this."

"Didn't you read the report about me? Didn't it say that I was an assistant professor of Potions for a while?" I said as I wrote, "It seems that the report was not careful enough."

"Thank you." Bryce took the note and thanked him softly.

"You're welcome, you helped me make the potion before, so I have to thank you. In the future, we still need to help each other. We always say thank you to each other, and we can't finish it!"

He smiled.

While we were talking, we suddenly heard another crisp bell ringing from the door, and turned our heads to look at the door at the same time.

Sure enough, it was the man in black, and my heart tightened.

Snape was stepping one foot into the room when he looked up to see me and then to Bryce.

In terms of reflexes, I never seem to be able to catch up with him. Before I could shake my body, he had already exited the door.

"Wait!" I yelled, trying to catch up in a few steps. But I forgot that I am no longer the lithe me I used to be.I left the crutches by the wall and forgot to take them out. I rushed out with one foot, impatient and twisted, and lost my center of gravity within three steps, and immediately fell to the ground.

Bryce grabbed my hand that was still stretching forward and knelt down to help me.I shook his hand away, and the amputated leg happened to hit the ground first, and the section was hit by a huge impact, so that tears gushed out of the pain immediately.

"Go and help me track down Snape, please!"

Bryce didn't hesitate, and immediately chased him out.

The wind chime rang again, and then the room returned to silence.Ante heard the movement and ran over to help me, and I accepted his help.

I didn't pay attention just now, when I fell, I brought a large piece of things on the cabinet, and three or four potion bottles fell to the ground and broke, and the colorful spilled all over the floor. When I pressed the ground with one hand, my palm was scratched by several shards of glass, and the shards of glass were embedded in the penis, causing another sharp pain.

If you are unlucky in life, the bad luck is really endless.

Now, I have to owe Clothea and Duke Jesse a sum of compensation for the potion store.

I sat in the shop rubbing the trauma potion while I waited for Bryce to come back.Bryce, who returned about 10 minutes later, said he came out of the store and saw Snape turning into an alley, and ran to find that the alley was dead-end and the person had long since disappeared.

"He must have Apparated, he's good at it. He's been here once before at school, Harry said, and he's really fast." I kind of regret letting Bryce go after me, knowing it's going to be futile.I regret even more when I hid it so well just now, and let Snape discover it in advance.

"Haven't seen the principal lately. That's strange, why doesn't he go back to school?"

"Who knows! Bryce, don't tell anyone about today's incident, just keep it in our hearts."

"So, you came here today because you knew the principal would be here?" Bryce was so smart that he immediately saw my intentions. "How did you come up with that?"

I avoided the question and said, "I want to find him. I have something to look for him. Like you said, he hasn't been back to school for a long time, and he can't catch anyone if he has something to do."

I walked out of the Potions Shop with Bryce. It was already dusk, and the stone road in Diagon Alley was sprinkled with a dark yellow hue.I sighed. When I wrote the IOU for compensation just now, I was speechless and tearful, full of grievances.

"Next, are you going back to school with me?" Bryce asked.

"No, I'll go to the Leaky Cauldron for a drink." No matter if I have money or not, if I don't drink some wine, I'm not far from collapse.

"Unexpectedly, you like drinking very much."

I glanced at the man in front of me, smiled and said, "I still like to smoke, do you like to smoke? Muggle cigarettes?"

"No, neither."

"That's so boring," I said deliberately, "People who smoke and drink at the same time live a more exciting life."

Bryce's eyes were bright, and he said softly, "Maybe I can try it, would you like me to accompany you for a drink?"

The Broken Axe smelled like a mix of tobacco, spirits, farts, and body odor.

Bryce sat across from me, frowning.

"My God, it smells so bad in here! How do you like it here?" He stroked his glass of butterbeer.

I ordered a Bloody Mary for myself, and drank half of it before I could answer his question. These days, my health has been getting worse and worse, and I dare not drink strong alcohol anymore, so I have to drink this "tomato juice" to relieve my cravings, and I feel depressed and incomprehensible.

"I've never been to a bar, can you believe it?" Bryce said. "This is the first time I've been to a place like this, a, uh, weird place."

There were noisy voices and smog, and from time to time, people in strange clothes who seemed very unique to people with such a unique profession as a wizard walked around. This place is described as strange by first-timers, which is already mild.

"It's normal. I remember when I first came here, I only sat there for 5 minutes before rushing out."

"Who did you come with? Headmaster Snape?"

I froze for a moment, and suddenly realized that since Bryce had read the reports about me, he must know that Snape and I had some different relationships.

Oh, it seems that the whole world knows.

This is what I hate the most: when you want to forget something, some people will remind you to remember it.

Bryce noticed a change in my face, and explained softly: "I'm sorry, I seem to have said something wrong?"

"No, you're right." I bent the corner of my mouth and forced a forced smile towards Bryce as comfort, "I did come here with Snape."

Besides, that was the first time I went out with him, to a place so far away from Hogwarts.

Time seems to have passed so long, I don't know if Snape remembers it like I do.
