[HP Sirius] Sweet Potions

Chapter 033 Mrs. Robert's Funeral

Sirius insisted on accompanying Ersa to Mrs. Robert's funeral, so Ersa had to agree.

"Thank God, I've had enough of being in Hogwarts Castle every day," he said to Ursa with a smile. "It's nice to go for a walk once in a while, isn't it?"

Ursa suddenly wanted to remind him that they were going to a funeral, not an outing. But she also knew that it was difficult for Sirius to feel sad for someone he had never met.

They set off from Hogsmeade, first apparated to Mrs. Robert's old apartment, and then took a taxi booked by Ersa to the cemetery.

Along the way, Sirius expressed great interest in the taxi they took, and kept asking the driver about the engine and other issues.

"I didn't expect you to know so much about these things," Ursa said.

"I've always liked Muggle vehicles," Sirius said, "such as cars, motorcycles, motorboats, etc. I seem to have told you that I'm going to save up to buy a motorcycle."

"Trust me, BMW sidecars are the coolest," accosted the taxi driver. "That kind of thing never goes out of style. Imagine you're driving your beautiful girlfriend in an all-black motorcycle." I'm sure everyone will be jealous as hell."

The driver seems to have identified the two of them as a couple. His words made Sirius curl up his lips, looking complacent.

The cemetery is quite far from Mrs. Robert's apartment.By the time Ersa began to drowsy, they had finally reached their destination.

Few people came to the funeral.Ursa finally sees Mrs. Robert's sons, and they look particularly sad, but this may also be because Mrs. Robert did not leave them much inheritance. Her only worthwhile legacy is the house, which her sons have eagerly put up for sale, though no suitable buyer has yet been found.

Mrs. Robert's youngest son, Johnny Robert, who did not bring his wife, was said to have been divorced not long ago—in fact, for the third time.He was slightly handsomer than his brother, and his long blond hair, loosely tied back, gave off a cynical vibe.

Ursa couldn't help but look at him a few more times, not because of how handsome he was, of course, but because he looked a little like Sirius.

"So, you are the rumored Miss Green?" Johnny walked over generously and talked to Ersa, "I really didn't expect you to be such a beauty."

He praised bluntly, completely ignoring Sirius who was standing aside.

"Oh, thanks." Ursa replied distantly and politely.

She looked down and noticed that his clothes were wrinkled and a button was missing from his shirt. This is the complete opposite of Sirius who always keeps his clothes neat.

He looks similar to Sirius in temperament, but in fact they may be two completely different types.Erza couldn't help thinking.

"I'm sorry for your loss." Sirius said suddenly, as if reminding the other party of his existence.

"Oh, you are?" Johnny said, as surprised as if he had just seen him.

Sirius quickly replied without blinking, "I'm Sirius Black, a friend of Ursa's."

"Oh, nice to meet you." Johnny extended a hand and shook Sirius, "So you're a wizard, too?"

"Are you a wizard?" This time it was Ursa's turn to be surprised.

Johnny grinned, "Yeah, I'm a wizard. My mom's a Squib and my dad's a wizard. Didn't my mom tell you about that?"

"But you're dressed like a Muggle," Erza said.

"I sometimes deal with Muggles, so I often dress up as a normal Muggle," he said. "I'm actually an Auror."

"Are you an Auror?" It was Sirius who spoke this time.He stared at each other with suspicion in his eyes.

"Yeah," Johnny said. "I just got this position last year, and those training sessions were hard enough, to be honest. If only I was a natural Transformer Magus."

He said, and winked at Ersha playfully, "I know you are a disguise magus. Don't you consider becoming an Auror? I can help you."

"There is no such plan yet." Ursa replied with a smile, "Thank you for your concern."

"You look quite young, why haven't I seen you before?" Sirius asked suddenly, "You are not a student of Hogwarts, are you?"

"Yeah, I'm from Durmstrang," said Johnny. "And you? You're supposed to be from Hogwarts. By the way, what's your job?"

He smiled and waited for Sirius' answer. Although the question was a bit abrupt, he didn't seem to want to compete with Sirius.

But Sirius seemed to feel offended. He didn't look very happy, and replied coldly and distantly, "I have plans to become an Auror."

"So you haven't graduated yet? You're Miss Green's student?" Johnny said in surprise. "Oh, I'm sorry. I just thought you two were lovers."

This sentence made Sirius and Ursa glance at each other quickly.

Ursa pretended to be nonchalant and turned her head away, but her hair was slightly red.

Then Johnny suddenly became much warmer towards Sirius. He said Sirius was always available to ask him any questions about the Auror profession.

But Sirius flatly refused. He didn't look like the guy at all.

But Johnny didn't take Sirius' attitude to heart at all.

"Well, since you say so," he said with a smile, "but don't regret it, knowing that I passed all the Auror tests with perfect marks."

"Remarkable," Sirius said unemotionally.

After the funeral, Johnny warmly invites Ursa to have dinner with him.

Ersha was about to politely refuse, but Sirius took the lead.

"She won't go." Sirius said coldly, then grabbed Ersa's wrist and led her away quickly.

"What's wrong with you?" Ursa asked in surprise. She could sense something was wrong with Sirius.

"Because of that hypocritical megalomaniac. You heard him too." Sirius whispered annoyedly, "First accosting you for no reason, telling us he's a great Auror, and then emphasizing that he passed How hard is the Auror test, and finally said he actually passed with a perfect score. Is he so eager to show it in front of you?"

Ursa kind of understood why Sirius was like this.He was jealous, but she didn't understand why he reacted so strongly.

Sirius frowned and continued, "He looks at you like he's staring at a delicious prey." He sneered, "I bet if you go to dinner with him tonight, he'll be eager to take you next step to his house."

"Enough." Ursa didn't like the veiled insinuation in his words. "Do you think I'm really stupid enough to go home with a man I just met? And I don't want to go to dinner with him at all."

Sirius stopped suddenly.

"I didn't mean that." He said with wide eyes.

"That's what you mean." Ersha said angrily, "It's my own right to refuse other people's invitations. Do you think I would really foolishly agree to him?"

"I'm just worried that you will be tricked by him." Sirius' tone became less confident, "I'm also a man, so I can see what a person looks like when he has evil intentions."

Erza felt a little bruised about her pride.Did he really think he was so gullible?

"...I don't like you like this." She said coldly.

Every time she's feeling down, she's aloofer than usual, but that doesn't mean she really wants to keep people away.

But Sirius obviously misunderstood the meaning in her tone and expression.

"What does that mean?" he said, frowning.

Ursa knew that what she was about to say might hurt Sirius' pride, but she couldn't help but say it.

"You act like an immature child sometimes," she said.

"So that's what you think?" Sirius stretched his eyebrows slightly, "You've always been concerned about our age, do you actually think I'm not mature enough?"

"That's not what I want to say." Ursa retorted, and she hesitated before saying, "But it's also true."

"Then you don't know me at all." Sirius said coldly.

On the way back, the two barely spoke.

Ursa hails a taxi from a phone booth. After getting into the car, Sirius kept looking out the window in silence, wondering what he was thinking.

Ersha felt that the air in the taxi was extremely heavy.

When she finally arrived at Mrs. Robert's house, she was greatly relieved, and couldn't wait to open the car door and leave.

"See you later," she heard Sirius mutter behind her.

When she turned around, she was surprised to find that Sirius had disappeared.

Oh - damn it, where did he go? !

Ersha suddenly realizes that she might have lost a student off-campus.

But when she noticed that the door of Mrs. Robert's house was open, she understood what Sirius meant by "see you later".

So she turned and walked quickly into the house.
