[HP Sirius] Sweet Potions

Chapter 014: Ursa's Counterattack

At six o'clock in the evening, Ersha arrived at the door of the office on time. She took a deep breath, straightened her clothes subconsciously, and then opened the door and walked in.

"You're late." Mona Faris said coldly.

"As I told you, she had a little accident," said another voice.

Erza was surprised to see her mother standing near the windowsill with her arms folded. She was staring at Faris at the desk with contempt and disgust.

"What are you doing here, mother?" Ursa asked quickly, stepping up to her mother, in a low voice.

"Don't worry, I'm just here to catch up with an old friend, nothing else." Anna said lightly, she turned to look at Faris, "So, how about our old friend Walburga?"

When talking about "our old friend", Anna deliberately emphasized her tone, with a slight sarcasm in her tone.

"She's fine," Faris said through gritted teeth. "We've missed you so much, Ana."

Ersha looked at them in confusion—were they really friends before?

Anna shrugged, "Really? I heard that she had a bad life. I heard that she ended up marrying the cousin she hated the most?"

Faris clearly didn't want to chat with her at all.She stared at Anna fiercely, and said every word: "You can go, Ms. Rhett."

"It's okay, please pretend that I don't exist." Anna said, squinting her eyes and looking at Faris not to be outdone.

Ursa could almost feel the cold anger emanating from the two women.

"Uh... so can I see the final report, Mrs. Farris?" Ursa asked.

Only then did Faris look away from Anna. She said coldly, "Yes." Then she bent down and took out a roll of parchment from the brown paper bag, unfolded it and placed it on Ersha's desk.

"If you have no objection, just sign the end of the parchment." Faris said, "Because of your request, we have had to postpone the time by one day—"

"—It's a reasonable request, you know she's hurt." Anna interrupted, but Faris deliberately pretended not to hear.

"So please don't waste my time." Faris said coldly, "You know, there is still a lot of work waiting for me at the Ministry of Magic."

Ersha quickly scanned the entire report, and then set her sights on the conclusion at the end of the report.

After seeing that conclusion clearly, her heart immediately sank.

"I'm not qualified for the position of Potions teacher?" she said hoarsely.

"Yes, I'm sorry." Faris said coldly, "If you have read my report carefully, you will know that my conclusion is justifiable."

Anna suddenly walked over quickly. She snatched the report from Ursa's hand, glanced at it quickly, and said disgustedly: "It's a bunch of nonsense." After she finished speaking, she raised her hand to tear up the report.

"No!" Erza exclaimed, and quickly snatched the report from her mother. She stared at her mother in surprise, and asked in a low voice, "What the hell are you thinking, Mom?"

"I just want to help." Anna said with an innocent shrug.

"I'll take care of this, please go away now, okay?" Ursa looked at her pleadingly, "Please."

Anna stared at her daughter for a moment. Then she sighed suddenly, "Well, I won't interfere from now on. But I won't leave here." She said, casting a vicious glance at Mona Faris, "I have to Watch her here, lest she play any tricks."

Ursa took a deep breath, then sat down opposite Faris.

She carefully and carefully read the report in her hand, and found that there was no mention of her students' evaluation of her, but deliberately emphasized that the test results were very bad.It was also mentioned above that Ursa never received an orthodox education and had always lived in the Muggle world with her father.

No matter who reads this report, they must feel that Ersha is not suitable for the current position.

"Now, sign it." Faris said calmly, and then handed the quill to Erza.

Erza hesitated, then took the quill.

"You don't need a signature, you know what's written on it—" Anna said suddenly.

Ursa smiled at her mother, interrupting her, "It's all right, Mom." She dipped the tip of her pen in the red inkwell and signed a word at the end of the parchment.

She pushed the parchment to Faris, her cold gray eyes watching him calmly.

In fact, her heart was pounding. She didn't know exactly what was going to happen next.

Faris picked up the parchment, and a few seconds later, her long, thin, trimmed eyebrows slowly curled into a ball.

"Rejected?" She looked up at Ursa, "What do you mean, Miss Green?"

"It means that I disagree with the conclusions of your report." Ursa said calmly, her hair slowly turning red, which means nervousness, "You said that the Ministry of Magic has a special staff to handle complaints, so I have already Wrote a letter of complaint to them."

She said, and took out a letter from the inside of her jacket, "This is the reply I just received. They said they will send another temporary examiner to Hogwarts as soon as possible."

"It's impossible." Faris snatched the letter from Ersa's hand. She quickly read the letter, then raised her head and looked at Ersha with a strange expression, "A joint letter from the students?"

"It was also inspired by you and your friends," Ursa continued.Because she was so nervous, her tone became very high. "I've investigated, and the joint letter to Hogwarts parents written by your friend Mrs. Walburga Black is actually a forgery. She used money to bribe the parents of some students to sign the joint letter. I asked those students, and they all said they knew nothing about it."

"You have no evidence." Faris said coldly.

"I really don't have evidence, but I have these." She said, and took out a roll of parchment from the drawer, "This is a copy of the student's joint letter made with duplication potion."

The parchment was densely packed with students' names and words of support.

"We all enjoyed Miss Green's class."

"She read my paper very carefully and wrote me two-inch comments."

"Please don't fire Miss Green."

"It's impossible." Faris said in surprise, "How could you collect these signatures in such a short period of time?"

"I got some help from some students," Ursa said. "I believe that after seeing this, the next interim examiner may come to a completely different conclusion from yours."

Faris' face became extremely ugly. She stared at Ersa gloomily, her lips trembling slightly, but she didn't say a suitable rebuttal for a long time.

"Uh, I think it's time for you to leave." Ursa reminded with a light cough, "The work of the Ministry of Magic is very busy, isn't it?"

Faris's lips curled up, and she gave Anna, who was gloating at her, a disgusted look, and then she stood up abruptly from her chair.

"Goodbye." She said coldly, and then walked out of the office quickly.

"Go back in despair, idiot." Anna said clearly behind her.She looked at Ersha with a smile, "Good job, baby. To be honest, I didn't expect you to be able to do this at all."

Ursa let out a long breath, and she fell limply on the table—God knows how nervous she was just now.

"You too, Mom." She narrowed her eyes and looked at Anna by the window, muttering, "You should go too. I have to prepare for next week's class later."

"Okay, I'll go now." Anna said without caring. Before leaving the office, she stopped suddenly, "By the way, you will spend Christmas with me this year, right?"

Ursa looked at her mother a little surprised, "Uh...of course, if you want."

Anna laughed suddenly, "Don't be silly, silly girl, of course we're going to spend it together. See you at Christmas." She came over and kissed Ersha quickly on the cheek, "Goodbye, Ersha baby. "

After Potions get out of class was over the next day, Ursa deliberately stopped Lovegood and Brown.

"Thank you two for helping me collect Ravenclaw's signature," Ursa said to them.

"This is what we should do." Brown scratched his head shyly. "After all, what happened yesterday is our fault."

Erza smiled slightly. The eyes of the two boys suddenly became a little dull.

"Come to us next time you need anything," said Lovegood suddenly. "I'm pretty good at harassing gadflies and that sort of thing."

"Uh..." Ursa decided not to ask what a harassing horse is, "thank you anyway."

In addition to Lovegood and Brown, Ursa also needs to thank the Baker sisters and Lily. They spent the whole afternoon yesterday helping to collect at least fifty signatures, most of them from Gryffindor.

On the way to lunch, Ersa met at least a dozen students who congratulated her.She suddenly felt that her heart was filled with a certain emotion, and then felt again that the efforts she made yesterday were not in vain.
