HP Dawn Night

Chapter 66 The Ghost of the Dead

"Harry Potter can't be the heir of Slytherin!" Pansy yelled at Blaise. "Absolutely not!"

"But he can speak Parsel. Everyone has heard it..." Blaise stated calmly, "Many people can learn other languages, such as Mermaid and Turkey, but you have heard who is the Parsel Cavity?"

Pansy walked ahead, climbing the stairs quickly: "Yes, but Parseltongue is Salazar Slytherin's skill. Potter is Gryffindor's—"

"Potter's a pureblood," Blaise retorted.Pansy jumped up angrily, and she flicked her long hair:

"You mean the heir of Slytherin is a Gryffindor?"

"I didn't say the heir of Slytherin was a Gryffindor! I meant Potter—" Blaise said, but suddenly froze.

"I'm glad you two finally figured out what's going on." Draco caught up and said, "Potter has inherited Salazar Slytherin's ability to speak Parselton. Yet he is a Gryffindor."

"That doesn't make sense." Pansy shook her head.

"Rumor has it that Potter was able to defeat You-Know-Who as a baby because he's an even more evil Dark wizard himself," I said.

"It doesn't mean anything, Vio!" Pansy stared at me with wide eyes. "The question now is, if Potter is the heir of Slytherin, then Mrs. Norris is his masterpiece?"

"So was Colin Creevey," Draco interjected.

"So Weasley and Granger are accomplices?" Blaise frowned and thought for a while, then shook his head, "I don't believe that Weasley will help the heir of Slytherin to do things, as for Granger, I think She seems to avoid Slytherin..."

"That might just be an illusion, Bryce." I said disapprovingly, "Of course, some other reasons can't be ruled out."

"Maybe it's the Imperius Curse," Pansy guessed.

"Maybe Weasley followed Potter for profit, after all, Potter is still the savior in name." Draco speculated.

"It can't be the Imperius Curse. It's impossible for second-year students to do this. Even Granger can't do it, let alone Potter." I dismissed the former possibility, "But what would drive Wei Sly prefers Slytherin?"

"Garon." Draco said slowly, "The Weasleys are so poor that they're going to drink northwest wind."

"Potter's rich in that," Blaise half-truthfully agreed.

"So what about Granger, does Potter have anything he can use to threaten Granger?"

"Life," Pansy said succinctly. "Potter could have threatened Granger that if she didn't help him, he'd kill him—a presumption based on the fact that Potter is the heir of Slytherin."

"Well, there is a certain probability of this possibility. But why is Granger the one who went to steal from my father's office?"

"Potter and Weasley had already been warned about the flying car earlier this term," Draco said, "Granger is a good student, hasn't violated the school rules very much, and if caught, he won't be expelled. "

"That's right. Assuming Potter is the heir, he has to ensure that he won't be killed in order to carry out his plan smoothly." Blaise concluded.

I run my hair through my hair, feeling like this is a mess:

"Well, that means Potter could be the heir of Slytherin. But..." I paused, "why did he send the snake to attack Justin Fenrieri?"

"Objectively speaking, the snake didn't attack Fenrey in the end," Draco replied, "but Potter's tone sounded like he was instigating."

"It seems that Finlay is not a pure-blood?" I asked.

"He's Muggle-born," Blaise replied.

Pansy added, "His mother originally wanted him to go to some Muggle Eton school... yes, that's it, he mentioned it to Potter, and Potter knew he was Muggle-born."

"Creevey was first, please don't tell me—"

Halfway through my words, I was interrupted by a sharp shout: "Do it! Do it! Do it again! People and ghosts will not be spared! Run for your life! Move—hand!"

The four of us looked at each other and rushed towards the nearest door almost at the same time.

"Oh--"

Pansy let out a short exclamation, our speed was fast enough, so we saw the scene in front of us very clearly:

Finch lay on the floor, as cold and stiff as Mrs Norris had been that night.A terrified expression froze on his face, his eyes glazed over to the ceiling.

It's not the scariest.

The ghost of Gryffindor, Nearly Headless Nick, is black, smoky, and hovers six inches above the ground lying flat and motionless. His head was half off, and he had the same terrified look on his face as Justin Fenriely.

Harry Potter stood in the middle of the corridor, seemingly at a loss for words.

The four of us were stunned, standing where we were, and none of us could say a word.Doors in the hallway were pushed open one after another, people poured out, and the scene became almost out of control. The teachers shouted to maintain order, and there was a loud bang from Professor McGonagall's wand, and everyone fell silent.

"Go back to your classroom or lounge," she said lividly.

"Let's go, let's go." Draco whispered, with an indescribable expression, blocking our view with Blaise.

I turned around and saw the same fear in Pansy's eyes:

In this world, what power can make a dead person die again?

"Perhaps it's time to tell you that bicorn horn and woodsnake skin are essential ingredients for making Polyjuice Potion," I said to them after making sure no one was around.

"What are they stealing that for?"

"There must be a problem."

"What do they want Polyjuice Potion for?"

The three of them exploded immediately, and I carefully went through the train of thought in my mind, thinking of a possibility:

"Draco, remember what we said before, the Gryffindor Triangle is likely to think you will be the heir of Slytherin."

"But according to the current situation, Potter should be the heir of Slytherin." Draco retorted.

Blaise suddenly caught some details: "Potter couldn't be so stupid to be found at the scene for the second time, so we can't be completely sure that the heir is him."

Pansy thought for a while: "What does this mean?"

"The heir of Slytherin is someone else," Blaise said.

"But not necessarily..." Draco and Blaise exchanged a look and said.

"Let's change our thinking," Pansy said. "We've already confirmed that Potter and the others want to make Polyjuice Potion, so when will they transform?"

"The effect of the compound soup is only about an hour, so they are unlikely to appear in crowded places, and they will be easily exposed if they get caught." I said.

"Is there any way to extend the transformation time?" Blaise asked.

"It's easy, just keep a water bottle with you and keep refilling the Polyjuice Potion," I replied.

"Obviously it's not feasible, no one at Hogwarts walks around with a water glass every day," Pansy said. "The question now is when is it possible to approach Draco with fewer people?" , and pretend to be who will not be seen through?"

I thought about it, and finally shook my head, Blaise and Draco both said they didn't know.

"This is too much trouble..." Pansy murmured, "Vio, what if we try to fool them with Polyjuice Potion too?"

"The Polyjuice Potion takes a long time to brew, and we're probably too late," I said, "and we don't know exactly what opportunities they have, which means we're very, very vulnerable to exposure."

"Is there no way to stop them breaking into Slytherin or us to get some information?" Pansy asked anxiously.
