HP Dawn Night
Chapter 47 Borginbock
Uncle Lucius is responsible for taking us shopping this year, because Aunt Narcissa and Mom are going to take care of Mom's beauty potion shop.
Uncle Lucius first led us to a road beside Diagon Alley: Knockturn Alley.
Many wizards think that Knockturn Alley is a place where bad deals exist, but I don't think so.Mom said you could move just as well in Knockturn Alley if you really wanted to.My father said that in Knockturn Alley, you can buy precious potion ingredients and other weird things.
All in all, as long as you are careful, Knockturn Alley is not as scary as the rumors make it out to be.
Uncle Lucius took us into one of the largest stores - Bockin Bock.
"Don't touch anything, Draco, Vio." Uncle Lucius passed through the store, looked lazily at the items on display, rang the bell on the counter, and turned to tell us.
Draco was about to reach out to touch one of the glass eyeballs that had remained motionless when he heard this and said, "I thought you were going to buy me a present."
"I meant to buy you a racing broom," said Uncle Lucius, fingering the counter.
"What's the use of buying a broom if I'm not on the house team?" The words hit Draco sorely, and he said angrily, "Harry Potter—"
I caught him just in time: "If you really don't like him, beat him at Quidditch."
His father took a look at his son and cast a disapproving look: "Vio is right. You shouldn't show how much you don't like him, it's better to beat him. Ah, Mr. Borgin."
A hunched man appeared behind the counter, pushing back his greasy hair.
"Mr. Malfoy, it's a pleasure to see you again." Mr. Borgin said in a tone as oily as his hair. Miss Sen and Mr. Snape's daughter, Miss Snape, welcome. What can I do for you? I must show you, just entered today, the price is very fair."
I kept smiling politely, though I didn't really like Mr. Borgin.
"I'm not shopping today, Mr. Borgin, I'm here to do the shopping," said Uncle Lucius, and I noticed that the smile on Mr. Borgin's face diminished a little when he heard this.
"sell things?"
"You must have heard that the Ministry has stepped up the search." Uncle Lucius said, he took out a roll of parchment from the inner pocket of his clothes, and unfolded it for Mr. Bokin to see, "I have some at home, ah, Something that might inconvenience me, if the Ministry comes..."
Let's get down to business.
Draco and I looked around boredly. There were not many things in Bojinbok's shop, and everything was scary, such as a stack of bloody cards, various human bones, and rusty sharp-toothed instruments... And that big black cabinet in the corner.
Draco, however, was intrigued by the withered human hand on the mat.
"Can you show me that?" he asked.
"Ah, the Hand of Glory!" Mr. Borgin dropped the list he was looking at, and ran to Draco, "Put a candle, and only the person who holds it can see the light. It is the best friend of thieves and robbers." !Your son has a good eye, sir."
This compliment obviously didn't please Uncle Lucius: "I hope my son is a little better than thieves and robbers, Borgin," he said grimly.
The name Malfoy is quite powerful, because Mr. Borgin immediately said: "I'm sorry, sir, I didn't mean that."
Uncle Lucius continued on without hesitation, his tone became colder: "But if his grades don't improve, he may only be able to do those things."
"I'm second in grade!" Draco argued back, and Uncle Lucius said angrily:
"The third is a girl from a non-wizard family. You only have a slight advantage in the history of magic by rote memorization. I thought you would be ashamed."
Draco was embarrassed and annoyed, and I was embarrassed to find a place to hide.At this time, Uncle Lucius spoke to me lovingly:
"Of course, Vio, many teachers have praised it, and in fact, your father is also very proud of it—although he doesn't often show it." Then, he tapped Draco with the snake-headed staff in his hand, "De Laco, I very much hope that you can learn from Vio, instead of spending your time on Potter every day."
After saying this, Uncle Lucius turned around and began to bargain impatiently.
"Draco?" I tugged on his sleeve, "Don't you want to look around?"
Draco soon came to life again, and we looked at the items for sale at will in the shop, Draco stopped to study a long noose, and I studied the scary-looking masks on the wall.
After I finished the deck of blood cards, I decided I didn't like the place. And Draco was busy reading the brand on a luxurious opal necklace:
Beware: Do not touch, it has been cursed.Nineteen Muggle lives have been claimed.
"Muggle statements aren't worth much, are they?" Draco said to me.
I frowned: "I beg to differ, Draco, they live in a completely different world from us, don't they?"
"If it's not enchanted, I think you should buy it," Draco said.
"Oh?" I raised my eyebrows and walked over to look at the necklace.
Draco pointed to the gorgeous decoration on it: "It matches your robe very well."
"If you gave me a gray crystal necklace, I think I'd be happy to accept it. Oh, of course, it would be even better if it was a complete jewelry set." I teased.
"Well, if you'd give me seven different sets of expensive cufflinks this Christmas, maybe I'll consider it," Draco replied.
"Why seven?" I was a little curious about this question.
Draco pretended to show fascination: "Because, if that's the case, I can wear different cuffs every day."
"Yeah, I'll put an S or a W on every cufflink," I sarcastically, "and maybe the whole academy will think you stole my cufflinks."
"Come on, Vio, S can be said to be the first letter of 'Slytherin', and W is M in reverse." Draco retorted lightly.I had nothing to say, and decided to check out the cupboard in the corner.
"This cabinet looks good." I carefully looked at the intricate embossed patterns on it, and Mr. Bojin's hospitable voice sounded behind me:
"Good eyesight! Miss Snape—"
"It's done," Uncle Lucius' voice sounded at the same time, "Come here, children. Vio, if you want to buy a cabinet here, you first need to ask your parents for permission."
The author has something to say:
Vio: S=SnapeW=Watson
Draco: S=SlytherinW This needs no explanation...Malfoy's amazing
The real emotional drama should be in the third grade, and the second grade should be warmed up first
