HP Dawn Night
Chapter 111 Snowball
When returning to Hogwarts, I must pass the Shrieking Shack. I pointed to the small room covered by heavy snow: "Why don't you take a look?"
It is impossible for this small house to appear here out of thin air for no reason.I walked around the house twice, and the doors and windows of this room were firmly nailed with wooden boards. From the outside, it really looked like a house where monsters were locked.
"Draco, what do you think - hello!"
As soon as I turned around, a snowball flew over, and it just hit my face impartially.I reached out to wipe the snow off my face, and heard a bastard laughing undisguisedly.
"A sneak attack from behind is not what a gentleman should do." I quickly bent down and rolled a snowball on the ground, then threw it far away.Draco ducked his head nimbly, then hurled another shapeless block of snow at me.
The snow slammed into my cloak, and while Draco was grinning, I threw a big cloud of snow at him, and part of it fell into his mouth.
"Does it feel good to eat ice cream in winter?" I couldn't help laughing, "Do you want to have some more, I still have a lot here."
"Don't be complacent, Vio." He threw a lot of snowballs in a row, and I jumped up and down screaming, the funny appearance is probably similar to that of a monkey, when Draco's last snowball flew over I finally threw up my hands in surrender when my hat was dropped:
"Stop it, it's game over! - that's enough, Draco!" I reached up and wiped the snow off my clothes, which had partially melted from my head, as if I'd just finished swimming.I had to tie my hair up to keep from looking too embarrassed.
"We also need to exercise in winter to prevent storing too much fat for Christmas." Draco said so "comfortably", so angry that I kicked him.
"Ha, is that Blaise?" I said, pointing to the other side of the fence, when Draco looked back subconsciously, I bent down and quickly grabbed a handful of snow and sprinkled it on his head, then quickly Ran to a safe area, "Sorry, my hand slipped!"
"You are really like a child, Vio." Draco brushed off the snow helplessly, his proud hair has been tossed out of shape by us, "This reminds me of the first time you and I The first time we met, you put cream on my face."
"You are so stingy, you can still remember things from such a long time ago." I curled my lips, "Who made you white and tender when you were young, looking like a piece of cake..."
"Listen, Vio, I don't want to keep rolling in the snow, but if you keep talking, I'm afraid I'll have to get my wand to help." Draco threatened with extra calm.
"Sorry, dear Draco, we're not allowed to use magic outside of school, and neither is Hogsmeade—except for the Patronus Charm now, of course, due to special circumstances." I winked at him, "You don't Will be hoping for a bad Christmas, eh?"
Now Draco looked as if someone had told him that Christmas vacation was cancelled.
Mum wasn't home, so instead of boarding the Hogwarts Express home, I said goodbye to my friends in the foyer and went to Dad's office with my luggage, from where we were going to Floo back to Spider-Man. End Lane No. 19.
"Is the Floo the only way out of Hogwarts?" I asked, watching Dad pack his things.
"In theory, unless you are a wizard with strong spells." Dad took a flower pot from the fireplace, "You should use this thing more than once, right?"
A few seconds later, I was standing in the living room of No. 19 Spider's End Lane. This place has not changed much from the last time I came here. Considering that I once spent a summer vacation here, it seems to be a very kind thing.
"I have to remind you that there are no house-elves here to serve you," Dad told me deadpan. "So, you can accept Muggle food, right?"
"Is there a difference?"
"If you just mean kind, no."
"Can……"
"You eat sandwiches and burgers, don't you?"
"Of course!"
"That's good," Dad seemed relieved at last, "now go upstairs and do your own thing, and I'll call you when it's dinner time."
I honestly couldn't believe what good Muggle food my dad, with his cauldrons and potions, could whip up, so I wisely brought all the treats I could find in Hogsmeade.
But I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this apparently tempting-looking sandwich on the table:
"You couldn't have done this, Dad?"
"This is takeaway." Dad said to me in a tone of explaining that one plus one equals two, "It's a Muggle service that can deliver the food you want to your door."
I muttered a sentence silently, what is the difference between that and a wizard's house elf, then I opened the package and took a bite, it turned out that there is a difference...
Just a difference in taste.
"Dad, do you know when the Screaming Shack was built?" I asked.
Dad obviously hesitated for a moment: "Why are you asking this?"
I briefly recounted how Draco taught me to use the Patronus Charm at the Shrieking Shack, and then mentioned the dilapidated appearance of the house.
"What caught my attention was that none of the residents could explain its history." I rolled up the sandwich bag and threw it in the trash. "Has it been built for a long time?"
"I've been at Hogwarts since I went to school." Dad didn't seem to want to say much on the subject, "Maybe there used to be a mischievous ghost in the Screaming Shack, but I can assure you, At least for now there's nothing deadly there."
"Has it ever happened before?" I caught the loophole in the words.Dad doesn't look happy at all:
"Instead of wasting energy on useless haunted houses, it's better to touch something useful."
However, when I was looking for a book to read, I found that the "Game of Death" I saw last time was gone.I looked back and forth on the bookshelf several times but couldn't find its shadow.
Is it useful for Dad to take it away, or did he find that I have already flipped through the book?I picked up a book on herbal medicine from the cabinet, feeling apprehensive.
