Paper Cranes-Chapter 12

In the blink of an eye, the OWL exam is here.Today was the Defense Against the Dark Arts exam. Snape felt that there was no problem with the written exam questions, and the Patronus Charm he used for the operational questions should be able to add a lot of points. After the exam, he walked out of the castle slowly.Unfortunately, I ran into James.

"Okay, snot-nosed?" James said loudly.

Snape's reaction was as violent as if he had expected an attack: he flung his schoolbag off and slid his hand into his robes, but he was barely halfway up his wand when James yelled, "Expelliarmus!"

Snape's wand flew twelve feet into the air, and fell with a soft thud into the grass behind him.Sirius let out a harsh laugh.

"There are many obstacles!" he said, pointing his wand at Snape, who was knocked to the ground just as he threw himself towards his dropped wand.

The surrounding students all turned to watch. Some of them stood up and surrounded them. Some looked understanding, others were entertaining.

Snape lay panting on the ground.James and Sirius walked towards him, wands in hand, James glancing over his shoulder at the girls by the lake as they walked.Wormtail was on his feet now, watching hungrily, moving away from Lupin to get a better view.

"How's the test, Snivel?" James said.

"I'm watching him, and his nose is rubbing all over the parchment," said Sirius viciously. "There must be big grease stains all over it. They can't make out a word at all."

Wormtail scoffed.Snape struggled to get up, but the spell still worked on him; it was like being bound by invisible ropes.

"You—wait," he gasped, staring at James with pure disgust, "you—wait!"

"Waiting for what?" said Sirius coldly. "What are you going to do, Snape the Snotty, wipe your nose on us?"

Snape was swearing, with many curse words, but his wand fell ten feet away, so nothing happened.

"Wash your mouth clean," said James dryly. "Scourgify!"

Snape's mouth immediately erupted in pink suds; his lips were covered in suds, making him retch, choke—

"Don't mess with him!"

James and Sirius turned to check.James' free hand suddenly jumped into his hair.

"All right, Evans?" James said, his tone suddenly pleasant, deeper and more mature.

"Don't mess with him," Lily repeated. She looked at James' expression without showing great disgust, "What did he do to you?"

"Oh," said James, pretending to be pondering the point, "actually it's mostly because of him, if you know what I mean..."

Most of the surrounding students laughed, including Sirius and Wormtail, except for Lupine, who was clearly determined to bury his head in his textbooks, he didn't laugh, and neither did Lily.

"You think you're funny," she said dryly, "but you're just an arrogant, bullying fool, Potter. Don't mess with him."

"If you'll go out with me, I'll do it, Evans," said James quickly. "Come... go out with me, and I'll never point my wand at an old slug again."

Behind him, the effect of the Impeding Charm faded away.Snape began to crawl, inch by inch, toward his dropped wand, lather still gushing from his mouth as he crawled.

"Even if I had to choose between you and the giant squid, I wouldn't go out with you." Lily said.

"Unlucky, Prongs," said Sirius cheerfully, before turning to Snape, "Oh!"

But it was too late; Snape had pointed his wand directly at James; there was a flash, and a deep gash appeared on one side of James' face, and blood sprayed his robes.James turned sharply: a second flash followed, and Snape was suspended in mid-air, head down, his robes hanging down to cover his head, revealing pale, thin legs and a jet-black shorts.

Most of the small watching crowd burst into cheers; Sirius, James, and Wormtail laughed wildly.

The furious expression on Lily's face twisted momentarily, as if she was about to smile, and she said, "Put him down!"

"Of course," said James, jerking his wand up; Snape curled up and fell hard to the ground. He struggled out of his robes, stood up instantly, and raised his wand, but Sirius said, "All petrified!" Snape fell on his back again, stiff as a plank.

"Don't mess with him!" Lily yelled. Now she drew her wand.James and Sirius watched her warily.

"Ah, Evans, don't make me cast a spell on you," James said seriously.

"Then break the spell on him!"

James sighed heavily, then turned to Snape, and whispered the counter-curse.

"Come on," he said, as Snape struggled to his feet. "Lucky for you, Evans is here, Snotl-"

"I don't need help from a dirty little mudblood like her!"

Lily blinked.

"Okay," she said calmly, "then I won't worry about it anymore. If I were you, I'd wash your shorts."

"Apologies to Evans!" James growled at Snape, pointing his wand menacingly at Snape.

"I don't want you to make him apologize to me," Lily yelled, turning to James. "You're as bad as he is."

"What?" James screamed. "I never said you were—you know what!"

"Must up your hair just because you think it's cool to look like you just got off a broomstick, show off with that stupid snitch, walk up and down the corridors, see who doesn't like it Curse anybody, just because you can do it—I'm amazed your broom can even land with a head like you on it. You make me sick."

She turned and walked away quickly.

James ran after Lily, but Snape froze, motionless, as if under a Freezing Charm.

please don't say sorry to me

Lyricist: Tang Tian Composer: Weng Yiren

how serious is your apology

The more sincere the hug, the colder it will be

Please turn around and don't leave any residual warmth

If you still have regrets, how do you start?

Remember the journey we had planned

Change a portrait and delete a script

The stupidest girls in that story

Happiness I did not complete may your dreams come true

Please don't say sorry to me again

Don't be sorry anymore, think it can comfort me

Tears so hard it breaks my heart

You were happy even when you were sad, right?

Please don't say sorry to me again

There is nothing wrong with the relationship, who can guess the ending

Your warmth surrounds what you gave yesterday

Can't stay by my side, stay in my heart

I tried hard to love someone

That's the best process in my heart

Every tear once carried body temperature

Maybe happiness has to wait for the next possibility

I ran in the dark for love

Just waiting for a soft kiss from you

My youth loves so desperately

I also accept incompleteness, although my heart still hurts

Please don't say sorry to me again

Don't be sorry anymore, think it can comfort me

Tears so hard it breaks my heart

You were happy even when you were sad, right?

Please don't say sorry to me again

There is nothing wrong with the relationship, who can guess the ending

Your warmth surrounds what you gave yesterday

Can't stay by my side, stay in my heart

I will be hurt and tired but not hypocritical

Don't say sorry say ashamed

I will always remember the joy and sorrow you gave me

Please don't say sorry to me again

There is nothing wrong with the relationship, who can guess the ending

Your warmth surrounds what you gave yesterday

Can't stay by my side, stay in my heart

Every time I think of you, I will laugh and shed tears
