Chapter 5 Brownies

In her sleep, Hilda vaguely heard a scream and a roar full of sadness and anger. She woke up and quickly stood up and poked her head out.

I saw the blond girl holding a white mask in her hand—it belonged to that man.She opened her mouth to call for help, but the excessive fear only made her open her mouth but could not make a sound.

The man who sang with confidence before approached the girl step by step like crazy, and he yelled at her frantically:

"Damn you!

You little prying Pandora

you curious pandora

you little demon!

you little devil

Isit what you wanted to see"

this is what you want to see

The girl fell to the ground suddenly, and the mask in her hand fell off.She stared at the man's face, trembling all over.

And the man whose mask had been taken off suddenly turned his head to look at the place where Hilda was hiding.

"Curse you!

You little peeping Delilah!

you peeping delilah

You little viper!"

you little viper

Hilda was frightened, she saw the man's face clearly - it looked like a dried skull, staring at her with two black holes that looked like eyes, Hilda was leaning against the wall, she knew why just now The girl's expression was so frightened—it was not a face at all!

She trembled and wanted to cry out, but suddenly a hand covered her mouth behind her and said in a low voice, "If you want to leave here safe and sound, follow me." Hilda hurriedly nodded and agreed. She followed the man and left the frightening place.

Then came the angry roar from behind:

"Now you cannot ever be free!

you can no longer shake the impression

Damn you! Curse you!"

……

"Sir, I can ask..." Hilda had calmed down at this moment, and was about to ask the man who seemed to be from the East.

"Oh, poor Eric," the Oriental exclaimed suddenly.Eric? Is that the name of the man wearing the mask? "By the way, I'm Daloga, a Persian," Daloga said to Hilda. "That blond girl is Christine, and Eric's been teaching her to sing—I've heard Eric say she's very Talent." He took Hilda to a wall and skillfully opened the secret door.

Hilda came out and was surprised to find that she had returned to Mrs. Irene's bakery.

Daloga looked at her and said, "Please keep all of this secret, whether it is the Angel of Music or the Phantom of the Opera." After speaking, he closed the secret passage door and went back.

"No way..." Could it be that the man who has been buying bread from her is Daloga?

Hilda was tired now, after this series of adventures - let's call it that. This was an adventure in front of the Death Palace, she was exhausted, and she fell on the bed before she could even take off her sweat-soaked clothes.

Today, she has experienced too much: she got her wish and went to the Paris Opera House of her dreams; she enjoyed the beautiful singing voice of the blond girl named Christine; she came to the underground of the theater... and there is a man with a trembling appearance.

"Eric?" Hilda whispered, "How can there be such a contradiction."

In her eyes, Eric with the voice of an angel has talent, but when his mask is taken off, his angry roar is like a demon climbing up from hell. When she heard Eric's crazy accusation, she even wanted to cry.

Yes, cry for him.I don't know what it is, whether it is pity or sympathy, or fear of him.

The window of Hilda's bedroom was left open, and the cold wind came in late at night. She lay curled up on the bed, quietly thinking about what happened today.Suddenly, she seemed to hear the sound of a piano not far away, she closed her eyes and listened - it was the one she heard Christine sing in the theater today!

Hilda quickly got up from the bed, went to the window and looked around, trying to find the source of the piano sound.

Although she only listened to it once in the opera house, the singing voice of the blonde girl was full of admiration and nostalgia, which made her unforgettable. She wanted to sing too, she opened her mouth and uttered the first syllable:

"We'veneversaidourlovewasevergreen,

We never said our love would last forever

orasunchangingasthesea,

Or like the sea never changes

butif you can still remember.

but if you can always remember

stop and think of me..."

stop and think about me

etc! What is she doing! Why is she singing, Hilda feels that her body is out of her control now, stop... stop!

"Thinko fall the things we've shared and seen,

Think about what we shared together

don't think about the things which might have been..."

don't think about what might have happened

Hilda felt her throat burn, and her voice was as sweet as a lark.

Can't sing any more... she said to herself. But the singing was not yet under her control.

she will die!Hilda clearly realized that she would die...

Finally, when it comes to the coloratura part, her singing voice is more passionate and delicate, containing nostalgia for her lover:

"Ah-Ah-Ah-Ah-Ah-

Ah—Ah—Ah—Ah—Ah—Ah—

Ah—Ah—Ah—Ah—Ah—Ah—Ah—Ah—Ah———Ah—Ah——

Ah——

Ofme——! "

It's over, Hilda said to herself. She touched her neck limp on the ground.

The author has something to say:

For that "Ah", I really tried my best, and tried to match the rhythm as much as possible.

maybe one or two orz missing
