Chapter 16: School starts

Time passed quickly, and school was about to start in a week, and Mel had to go to Diagon Alley to prepare for the start of school.

Looking at the almost finished castle, Mel was a little reluctant to part with it, "Mimi, you have to take good care of the castle while I'm away."

"Yes, master!" Mimi answered swiftly, in good spirits.

"By the way, these Galleons are for you. Go to Hogsmeade to buy the food after you finish eating. Don't eat bugs anymore!"

"Thank you, Master!" Mimi took the purse with gratitude in her voice.

"By the way, Mimi, next summer we will go to sea by boat. This matter is very important. You must be prepared, you know?" Mel squinted at the elf. There was no room for failure in this plan, so she There can be no surprises in any link.

"Yes, master." Mimi shivered and replied firmly.

Mel chose to leave at night so that others would not notice that there was a little girl riding a broom in the sky.Saying goodbye to Mimi, Mel flew on a broomstick with her suitcase for an hour and arrived in the small town of Valli, where Joey was already waiting for her.

Back in London, Mel arrived earlier than Mr. Dalton who attended the important meeting. After Mr. Dalton came back, he hugged Mel in a very exaggerated gesture, saying how much he missed her.It wasn't until Mel said 20 or so times that she missed him, too, that she stopped.

The work in the castle made Mel really exhausted. She slept soundly for two days before getting up. Mr. Dalton even said that she was thin and forced her to eat a lot of meat.He didn't stop until Mel turned around and forced him to eat celery, which he hated the most.

Two days later, Mel and her father went to Diagon Alley. It was a pity that they did not meet the Weasleys. It was later known that they had already been to Diagon Alley during the two days when she was sleeping.

It's another school day, and Mr. Dalton couldn't come to another very important meeting today. Joey sent her here, and Mel pouted. She realized that since she started school at Hogwarts, Doyle Mr. Ton also got busy.A week ago, she was confused by this matter and she had a sudden inspiration, thinking that her father might have found a second love, and he was hiding in the golden house!

Now standing on platform nine and three-quarters, watching the wizards and witches coming and going, Mel's thoughts were always on Joey who was with her.

"Joey!"

"Miss?"

"I have something-"

"Your orders, miss!"

"It's about my father—"

"Is there anything you want me to convey?"

"No, no! It's just—"

"Miss?"

"Mel!" shouted repeatedly, it's the twins!

Mel hurriedly greeted them. The Weasleys came with their twins and Percy, but they didn't see Charlie. It was only then that Mel remembered that Charlie had graduated and went to Romania to study dragons.

George pulled the suitcase for Mel, and Mel followed them on the train. As soon as he found the carriage and sat down, Mel bounced up like a spring, and hurried off the train to find Joey who hadn't left yet. He made up his mind and asked: "Joy, does dad have a girlfriend?"

"What did you say? Miss?" Joey opened his mouth wide in surprise!

"Please answer me. I don't mind my father remarrying. But I don't want to be fooled!" Mel said, a sour, angry feeling filled her chest.

"Of course not, miss, why would you think so!" Joey answered quickly after recovering. "Sir, it's just because the business is too busy recently!"

Mel stubbornly stared at the ground without saying a word, and she didn't get on the train until the conductor urged everyone to get on the train.Didn't say goodbye to Joey either.

The train rumbled across the plains of England. On the train, the twins, Jordan, Lee, and Angelina were happily talking about the holidays. Mel didn't join in because she spent the whole summer in Heinburg. She didn't want to tell anyone about it just yet.Because there was nothing to talk about, she was very quiet along the way. Then they talked about the selection of Quidditch teams for each college, and they didn't even notice Mel's silence.

The train whistled long, Hogwarts arrived.

A new semester has started again!

Charlie has graduated, and the twins are at home without the pressure of the second brother on their heads. As for Percy's roar, they are not in their consideration at all.

Filch hated them even more, and Mrs. Norris was hanging around the Gryffindor tower all day, hoping to catch them fouling. The twins are wild horses who are having fun, but they are making a fuss.

However, there was one thing that puzzled them. After Mel came to school this semester, he stopped playing with them!He didn't even go to the Forbidden Forest very often. You must know that this was a huge anecdote. Last year, Mel sneaked into the Forbidden Forest more times in a month than they did in a year, and it was miraculous that he didn't get caught by Hagrid.

Regarding this point, the twins are a little jealous. The two boys are not as good as a skinny girl, which greatly insults their self-esteem.So they didn't tell her about the Marauder's Map.

Looking at the little dot representing Mel on the Marauder's Map, I have been staying in the library, moving occasionally to get books.George was confused. "Fred, Mel has been in the library for two hours. Has she been like this lately?"

"Yes," said Fred, trimming his broomsticks; they had just been named to the Gryffindor Quidditch team. "She didn't go to the Hufflepuff Quidditch selection last time, and she was asked to sign up. In the end, what did she say? Forgot to read the book!" Fred raised his head angrily at this moment. "You forgot Quidditch just to read a book! Unforgivable!"

"Yes! Unforgivable, Mel needs to be educated." George also missed a smirk.

Coming out of the library, Mel was dizzy with exhaustion. She took off her glasses and pinched her sore nose. Her legs unconsciously walked towards the auditorium. If she didn't go, she would miss dinner.

Randomly picking a place on the long Hufflepuff table, Mel gobbled it up, and then went back to calculate the possibilities after she finished eating. All knowledge has to be learned by oneself, which caused Mel to die a large number of brain cells. Now she doesn't even have time to practice magic in the Forbidden Forest.

Hufflepuff still had no one to talk to her, just like the last Quidditch selection, although the twins forced her to sign up, but she was the one who promised to do it, and she was fascinated by it in the library While reading a book, a Hufflepuff beside her said something very important, so she left with her companion. She didn't remember to participate in the Quidditch trials until Mel finished reading it. She forgot, and the person just now didn't remind her.She was the name in front of all the Hufflepuffs. He must know.

She knew that they didn't like her, and even in the whole school, except for the twins, no one really liked her. Slytherin thought she was equivalent to a squib, but, afraid of her reputation as a mobile bomb, they didn't dare to provoke her in person. she.Behind the scenes, it's hard to hear.

People in Ravenclaw think that she has learned well except for spells, transformations, and potions, which require the real skills of wizards. She is not really smart at all. Whenever Professor Sprout Ravenclaw booed when Kwamel's herbal diagram was drawn so accurately.

Although Hufflepuff is her house, they don't speak ill of her too much, but the relationship is very strange.Until once again, she overheard two Hufflepuffs whose parents were Muggles talking about her family.Only then did she know that they had heard from Snape that the Mel family was very rich, and it was because of this that she dared to make trouble at Hogwarts. From then on, she hated Snape even more!

Gryffindor and the others were quite polite to her. I heard that there used to be people in the Gryffindor lounge who laughed loudly, but Mel was a half-toned wizard, just a thin line away from the Squib. Expelled from Hogwarts a long time ago and so on.The twins were furious when they heard this, and fought with him, for which they were put in confinement. From then on, there were fewer Gryffindors who spoke ill of her, but few people interacted with her, except twin friends.

She was about to stand up after dinner when Athena landed in front of him. Mel took out the parchment on its feet and opened it. It was a note from her father:

Spanking little Mel:

Dad is so busy that his feet don't touch the ground, but you are thinking wildly, that's why you are fined for not receiving a letter from Dad for a month! ——

mad at you dad--

April 10

Mel burst out laughing, dad really, his so-called not writing to her for a month is to let Joey ghostwrite.

He sat down again and fed Athena something to eat. Then, wrote a reply to Mr. Dalton:

Dearest Dad:

I have already repented my mistake very deeply. It is a big mistake for me to have doubts about your private life.I decided to cut the amount of dinner in half every night as a punishment for myself——

Still in love with you Mel—

April 10

After finishing writing, Mel tied the parchment to Athena's feet, and patted its beak lightly, "Go to the owl shed to have a rest before setting off!"

Athena let out a low cry, spread her wings and flew away soundlessly.

For a developing girl, it is very cruel not to let her eat enough. Mr. Dalton will definitely be shocked and beg Mel for forgiveness. Acting like a baby, you can only ask for birthday presents.

Mel carried her schoolbag, went back to the Hufflepuff common room, found an empty seat and settled down, and began to use the knowledge she learned in the library to solve problems.

By the time she calculated the last possibility, there was no one in the lounge.

At this moment, a gust of cold wind from the basement blew in, and the door of the lounge knocked.Mel stood up. "Who? Who's where!"

The door closed again, but no one answered!
