save Sherlock

Chapter 12 Poor Inspector

The two returned to 221B Baker Street, panting, leaning against the wall at the stairs and smiling at each other.

Watson said: "Have you always lived like this?"

"what?"

"Um... urban parkour... or something more exciting!"

While taking off his coat, Sherlock said triumphantly, "Do you envy my life?"

"It's more fun than mine."

"Isn't the battlefield in Afghanistan exciting?"

Watson froze for a moment, pursed his lips and didn't know how to explain...

Suddenly Mrs. Hudson came out of the back room with a helpless face.

"Sherlock, what did you do?" Mrs. Hudson said aggrievedly.

"Mrs. Hudson?" Sherlock asked puzzled.

"Upstairs." Mrs. Hudson pointed upstairs.

Sherlock realized something immediately, and stormed upstairs and opened the door.

He strode up to Inspector Lestrade and asked, "What are you doing?"

Inspector Lestrade was sitting on the sofa with his legs crossed, holding the bulldog in his arms, and said indifferently: "I know you will find the box, I'm not stupid."

Watson then entered the living room and found that it was crowded with police officers who were searching...

He pushed Sherlock away and rushed to the kitchen door!

The kitchen that had just been tidied up was messed up, and the chemical equipment that had been sorted and placed in the corner was dumped on the table at random; the food that had just been bought was pulled out of the closet and piled on the ground in a mess; some chemicals were even scattered On freshly bought rice...

Watson couldn't bear it and shouted: "God, don't mess with me!"

The policemen who were destroying the kitchen were stunned by Watson's roar...

The female police officer Donovan was holding a human eyeball in her hand, when she suddenly shook her hand and fell into the pot on the table!

Watson stared, watching the eyeball float up from the pot full of milk after a "pop"...

He raised his right hand to hold his forehead: "The milk was bought today, are you sure I can still drink it now?"

"Oh!" The female police officer Donovan yelled out of composure, and said in a panic, "But this eyeball is placed in a glass and placed among a pile of food..."

"But obviously, I soaked it in formalin and sealed the glass well!"

"Yes..." Donovan paused and said, "But, but these are human eyeballs!"

Watson turned his back to the unbearable kitchen and said, "Yes, they are human eyeballs, but why is there only one?"

"What?" Policewoman Donovan asked, frowning.

"Because there is only one, I can't place it in an even number, and the odd number is not symmetrical...I can only put it in the middle of the food, because the food happens to be in an odd number, and the eyeballs are added to make it symmetrical!"

The policemen who were searching stopped their work one after another and looked at each other... They didn't understand what Watson was talking about at all!

Lestrade, who was sitting on the sofa, looked at Sherlock puzzled and asked, "What?"

Sherlock shrugged helplessly: "He has high requirements for odd and even numbers and symmetry!"

Watson looked at Lestrade and said, "That's right!" Then he turned and looked at the kitchen, took a breath, and said with a calm smile, "Don't you see, I have marked on every box What's inside?"

Police officer Donovan blinked her eyes puzzledly and said, "There is..."

"Then you pour them all out and mix them together? Can you pour them out separately?"

A male police officer was opening a closet. He took a step back and kicked it. It happened to contain a bottle of potassium manganate. The purple powder in the bottle spilled all over the floor...

Watson pointed to the male police officer and said, "So-and-so, the police can't destroy the houses, you have to clean them up for me!"

Standing aside, Sherlock frowned and looked at the male police officer: "Anderson? What are you doing here?" Then he turned and looked at Lestrade: "You can't break into the residence!"

"You can't seize evidence, and I didn't trespass."

Sherlock said excitedly: "Oh, what's this called?"

Inspector Lestrade pressed the bulldog's head with his hand, and said with a little satisfaction: "Because we are fighting drugs."

Watson, who was on the verge of collapse, suddenly froze when he heard Lestrade's words...

He couldn't help but said, "What kind of drugs are you arresting? Can Sherlock take drugs?"

Sherlock turned around immediately, looked at Watson and said in a low voice, "John."

Watson saw Sherlock's eyes and said in disbelief, "This is true...".

Sherlock interrupted Watson suddenly, and said seriously: "John, I suggest you shut up."

Watson instantly understood...

Did Sherlock really do drugs?

The bulldog broke free from Inspector Lestrade's hand and jumped to Watson's feet.

[...In the original book, it was a [-]% cocaine solution...but...]【Shut up! ] Watson interrupted the bulldog roughly.

Suddenly Watson seemed to smell the smell of gardenias. The walls and the floor were quickly covered with a layer of soft green grass. Not far away lay a beautiful woman, her long eyelashes swaying in the breeze. Like falling asleep.

It's like falling asleep... If you don't look at the hideous wound on her wrist, then she is indeed asleep.

The blood has dried up, and the smell of blood is scattered in the air...

The person lying there is his own sister, who committed suicide because of taking drugs.

No... This feeling came again!

【Are you OK? 】The tiger-headed dog asked eagerly.

[...It’s okay, I’ve wondered more than once, if my sister and I hadn’t seen the tragic death of our parents back then, wouldn’t my sister have suffered from depression, then took drugs, and finally committed suicide? 】【...Actually, you are very strong. 】

【Hehe... They are all liars, they are not responsible at all, they use drugs as an excuse, even if she dies, I will not forgive her! 】【...But you still have hope in your heart. 】

Watson took a deep breath to sort out his emotions.

He frowned, and said lightly to Sherlock, "Are you desperate?"

Sherlock was taken aback for a moment, as if he didn't know Watson well, so he thought for a while and said, "That's not the point."

Watson still stared at Sherlock without speaking.

Sherlock avoided Watson's gaze, and sternly accused Detective Lestrade, "I'm not your search dog."

"No, Anderson is my search dog," Inspector Lestrade said, smiling.

Watson turned and glanced at Anderson in the kitchen.

"Anderson, what are you doing here?" Sherlock asked a little frantically.

"Oh, I did it willingly." Anderson obviously enjoyed this feeling of revenge against Sherlock, and he always felt that he spoke with great confidence.

Watson rolled his eyes at Anderson and said, "Remember to stay for cleaning later!"

Anderson asked puzzledly, "Why?"

"How did potassium permanganate get on the ground?"

"I..." Anderson opened his mouth, not knowing what to say: "But, we are..."

Lestrade looked at Watson and said, "Then you ask Sherlock to help us, and we will close the team immediately!"

Watson took a look at Sherlock, who sneaked into the room and was walking around the room restlessly...

He crossed his arms and sneered, "Let's make such a cat with its tail around?"

Sherlock stopped turning, looked at Watson and said, "What?"

Watson said blankly, "Nothing."

Seeing the impatience in Watson's eyes, Sherlock turned his head and yelled at Lestrade, "How childish!"

Inspector Lestrade put his hands on his hips and said nonchalantly, "You're dealing with young children!" Then he said loudly to Sherlock, "This is our case. I let you participate, but you can't do it alone, understand?"

Sherlock said angrily: "What... you actually blackmailed me by pretending to be a drug dealer?"

"If we actually find the drug, we're not pretending."

"I'm innocent." Sherlock unbuttoned his cuffs, revealing the nicotine patch on his wrist: "I don't even smoke."

Inspector Lestrade also rolled up his sleeves, revealing the nicotine patch: "I don't smoke either."

Sherlock glanced at Lestrade resentfully, then compromised helplessly and said, "Okay, let's cooperate."

Inspector Lestrade immediately said, "We've found Rachel."

"who is she?"

"The only daughter of the deceased."

"Her daughter?"

"Why did she write her daughter's name before she died?" Sherlock frowned.

Anderson suddenly pointed to the pink box and said, "Never mind, the box is found. Someone once asserted that the box was with the murderer, but now it's in the hands of our dear mental patient."

Sherlock put his hands in his suit trouser pockets, looked at Anderson and said, "I'm not a psychopath, I'm a high-functioning sociopath. Please, be professional." Then he quickly turned to Inspector Lestrade: " You've got to get Rachel and interrogate her, and I've got to interrogate her."

Watson stood up against the wall, and said sarcastically, "High-functioning sociopath? How are you going to fight?"

Sherlock was stunned, and frowned at Watson: "What's wrong with you?"

"do not know!"

"Okay..." Sherlock said seriously, "I'll talk about anything later."

"Not interested in!"

Sherlock just wanted to open his mouth to say something, but closed it helplessly...

He glanced at Watson, turned immediately and shouted at Lestrade again: "Where is the dead man's daughter?"

Inspector Lestrade spread his hands and said inexplicably, "Dead... She has been dead for 14 years. Strictly speaking, she has never lived. Rachel is the daughter of the deceased who had a miscarriage 14 years ago."

"No...no...why did she do that, why?" Sherlock said blankly.

Anderson sarcastically satirized Sherlock: "Why did she miss her daughter before she died? Well, it really is an authentic antisocial disease."

Sherlock disapproved: "She didn't miss her daughter, but carved her name on the floor with her nails. She was dying. It was very laborious and painful." He turned and pulled Watson's sleeve and asked, "Is she Dying, being murdered, what will you say on your deathbed?"

Watson said blankly, "Death early and overbirth early!"

Sherlock's high emotions, as if being splashed with cold water, turned around embarrassingly...

He walked up to Lestrade and said condescendingly, "The deceased is very smart. She has a lot of lovers. She is smarter than you all, especially smarter than you. So she is going to die. What is she passing on to us?"
