magic sacrifice

Chapter 5 Transition

"Gellert."

Grindelwald raised his eyebrows, seemingly tolerantly letting go of the sole heir of the Malfoy family, and pulled out the beautiful wand he was playing with - wand flowers, perhaps with the illusion of swords and swords.

"That wand..." Harry started suddenly, bewilderment and wonder filling his green eyes.

Why does that look familiar?

The afterimage disappeared, and the blond Dark Lord read his meaning accurately, but he had no intention of answering at all. He just put the tip of his staff against his palm with a smile that was not a smile. He turned his head, closed his eyes and let out a sigh.

Draco pursed his lips and reminded in a low voice, "That's from Professor Snape."

Harry's eyes widened. Why did he always feel like he was missing something important?

"Snape's wand..." he asked hesitantly, "why is it in G-his hand?"

"Thirteen and one-half inches," Grindelwald easily manipulated the small wooden stick in his hand to set off a series of spectacular sparks, and then stopped playing with the evaluation dullly, "Birch is so fragile hit."

"Gellert."

"So Snape—the professor's wand is confiscated, what about the others?"

A short silence answered the savior. The green grass extended to the dark forest not far away, Harry's throat moved, he really hated Snape, but he never wanted him...

"Severus is brave and kind enough," Dumbledore finally said mildly. "We would not have left Sacrificial Magic without him, Harry, and we must be grateful."

Harry gave the look of someone who had just eaten a toad raw.

Kind and brave Snape? This is simply a metaphor of the same level as the lively and lovely Voldemort!

"he--"

"Dead." Grindelwald said happily, making a hypocritical gesture of regret before Dumbledore glanced over, "Obviously, I am more concerned about who made us have to follow the steps to complete that little game. I'm guessing that half a century of sacrificial magic hasn't been massively improved by some idiot?"

Harry looked back in a daze, seeing Draco's uncontrollable trembling and fear, what happened to him?

"Astraea is gentle by nature," said Dumbledore, and Harry was gratefully aware that he was addressing him specifically. "Most of the pure-blood families know this, and the sacrifice of her Magic can be interrupted at any time under normal circumstances, and she also rejects involuntary sacrificers. But this time is very special... We cannot take the initiative to leave the range of sacrifice magic, and she accepts sacrifices that are forced to sacrifice their lives .”

"Snape?"

"Oh, no, of course not," Dumbledore easily broke the savior's concerns, "it's Voldemort."

Harry's mouth fell open.

"Wait—" he said, finding himself unable to speak.

Voldemort? They fought against Voldemort for three full years? As easy as that—forced sacrifice to an unknown and faulty magic?

"I'm afraid it's not over," Dumbledore said softly.

Harry was completely confused.Wouldn't killing Voldemort solve the problem?

"The most urgent thing," Grindelwald threw away Snape's wand, Draco caught it in panic, and the empty-handed Dark Lord glanced at him, and looked away casually, "Find out What the hell did he do, Albus, looking for a reason to visit Malfoy Manor?"

"I don't know what's going on!" Draco screamed explosively before any answer could happen, his eyes vacant and his voice trembling, "I just— I just flipped through the book out of curiosity ! I didn't do it!"

"Quiet." Grindelwald ordered grimly, his gaze made Draco hold his breath for a second.

Years of prison life had affected him at least a little. Extremely harsh noises could irritate him the fastest, and there was no Nurmengard here to limit his danger.

The author has something to say:

I don’t know why Jinjiang didn’t update it after smoking yesterday, and I don’t know why I can’t write it out… I’ll add more next time

And Draco's age is right XD
