magic sacrifice

Chapter 29 The Mystery

"I need a reason." Grindelwald said coldly.

Dumbledore's temper remained the same as before. He looked around the room repeatedly, took a few steps leisurely, picked up an old roll of light yellow parchment on the ground, and gently unfolded it, but there was very little concern in his tone.

"The conclusion was originally an expedient measure," he said lightly, "Even if I let you untie it now, it won't have much impact on you, let alone..."

What is a stopgap measure?

Heck!

"At least I'm not willing to listen to such fooling nonsense when no one is watching, Albus Dumbledore." Grindelwald roughly pulled the roll of parchment in the wizard's hand, glanced at it briefly, and couldn't get it. After any useful value, he looked up, and aggressively pressed against the opponent's eyes less than an inch away, "——when will you put away your damn control desire?"

Dumbledore showed a part of his smile, and stepped back a little, in a position where they almost kissed.

"God," he sighed with a broken smile, "Gellert, I have to say, at least in this respect, I am far inferior to you."

"Albus!"

Is this the damn point? !

"The Resurrection Stone is located in Gaunt's old house in Little Hangleton. I won't go looking for it alone. I'm not so stupid and conceited. And the snake... is a little troublesome," Dumbledore continued to himself said, eyes calm and, "Two chances, Gellert, I have to make sure Harry's safe."

This sentence is really bad, it seems to be explaining something.

"And why should I care about that boy's life?" Grindelwald asked angrily, his dark blue eyes were like a blizzard in the cold winter, ready to rage at any time, "Because of your hypocritical love and justice—"

"Because I am like him."

"Or because of... what?"

Grindelwald repeated it, and the magic shock subsided strangely. "What did you say?"

Dumbledore sighed.

"In the sacrificial circle before, we all overlooked one point." He frowned subtly, and subconsciously played with his fingers again, the curly red hair fell on his shoulders smoothly, and he considered for a while to be correct. Phrasing, "I determined the soul and life of the sacrificer to be one and the same... yet Astraea came after it after it was over, I'm afraid we all simply thought that was due to the incompleteness of Voldemort's soul reason……"

But no.

Grindelwald accurately read all the words that Dumbledore did not say, and his face changed suddenly. This kind of situation is almost impossible for him.

"It's because..." Dumbledore paused, "The fragment of Voldemort's soul that we ignored in the diary was hidden in...my body with the help of the sacrificial circle."

This is the real reason Astraea pursues him, she just wants to get her share of the sacrifice.

"The soul contract we concluded simultaneously stopped her and suppressed the soul piece," Dumbledore said softly, and spun around again like a finger game, drawing a symbol, "Tom has always been very cunning. After having a magic power comparable to his, there will never be any traces of it."

Unfortunately, his opponent is Dumbledore.

And Dumbledore only needs to find Harry, who has a sense of soul, and it is enough to confirm everything.
