I don’t know when I fell asleep. I didn’t sleep well at all. I didn’t have a bedding, but a broken straw mat with small burrs. It was a little cold at this time. By the time work was over, I was exhausted to the point of collapse, and I dragged my exhausted body back to the village. If I go another day tomorrow, the kang in this family will be finished.

At night, I was so tired that I didn’t want to eat or take a bath. I just wanted to sleep on my head. I told Liu Dong and Liu Xi that my pot was broken. They said they could send it to be repaired, which was much cheaper than buying a new one. I didn’t know the pot was still working repair.
