Chapter 265 The Prince's Betrayal (4)

When she ran to the door of Snape's office, she could only lean against the door and knock on the door panting. She wanted to call Snape's name, but she felt a faint smell of blood in her mouth, and her mouth was so dry that she couldn't speak a word at all.

Snape opened the door, and Jane collapsed like a puddle of ooze.He subconsciously reached out to catch her, held her in his arms, and closed the door by the way: "Jean! Gene! What happened?"

Jane opened her mouth to speak, but she found herself unable to speak. Now she was panting violently like a fish about to die, full of pain.

Snape picked her up from the ground, put her on the armchair in front of the fireplace, and poured her a glass of water.

Jane couldn't wait to take a big sip before she recovered her breath and said, "Death Eaters...Death Eaters rushed into Hogwarts...It's Bellatrix, there are a dozen more..."

Snape's face suddenly became pale and serious, he ignored Jane lying in the armchair, stood up and prepared to leave. But Jane immediately reached out and grabbed his robe, blocking his steps.

Jane looked at him pleadingly: "Don't go out now, it's a mess outside! Please!"

Snape knew that Jane was worried about him, but he also knew that he couldn't stay here any longer.

"Severus!" Jane pleaded, holding on to his robes, "I beg you not to step out!"

"No, Jane." Snape stood there, his black eyes calm like black holes, making it impossible to see any emotion. His wand was gripped tightly in his hand, and he knew he had to get out.Whether it was Dumbledore or the Death Eaters, they were all waiting for him.

"I beg you!" Jane tugged at Snape's black robe and rolled out of the armchair. Her voice was hoarse as if it had been rubbed with sandpaper, but it contained all her fear and worry, "Severus!"

But even though Jane pleaded hard, Snape was not moved. He even gave her a silent petrification spell, allowing her to stay away from the battlefield completely.

With the petrification curse and the illusion spell, he was sure that no one would find Jane staying here.Snape snatched his robes from Jane's hand and strode out.As he closed the office door, he cast a protective spell on the door.

In fact, she didn't know that her identity was much more dangerous than his.She was one of the subjects of the Dark Lord's pursuit, just behind Potter. No one knew what the Dark Lord wanted to find her for.Maybe it's because of her peculiar identity, maybe it's because of the power behind her.Anyway, he knew very well that if Jane fell into the hands of the Dark Lord, it would definitely be a torture.

Facing Snape's resolute departure, Jane's heart was cold and painful. She wanted to scream out in pain, but she couldn't make any sound, and could only lie stiffly on the ground, motionless.

At this moment, she hated Snape's stubbornness.

She didn't know when she would be able to get out of this place, even if she was anxious like a flame was burning in her stomach, she couldn't leave here. She pricked up her ears to listen for the sound outside, and could only hear various roars and screams.

——The fierce battle outside must be quite tragic.

But when she was helpless, there was a sound outside the office. Then, she heard Hermione's voice: "Jane! Are you in there?"

Jane frantically tried to respond to Hermione's voice, but she couldn't.

There was a crackling sound outside the office, and she guessed that maybe Hermione was messing with Snape's door.

Soon, the door of the office was opened.

Holding the wand in one hand, Hermione stretched her neck to inspect the inside, and asked in a low voice, "Jane, are you inside?"

Jane watched as Hermione entered the room, a piece of parchment in her wand-holding hand. She recognized it at once as the Marauder's Map.

Hermione's eyes quickly fell on the place where Jane fell to the ground, and she immediately threw the anti-curse of the Petrification Curse on the place where Jane was, and at the same time undid the Disillusionment Curse on her body.

"Jane!" Hermione didn't expect that Jane would really be petrified and thrown here. If it wasn't for the Marauder's Map, she would definitely not be able to find her.

"Thank you." Jane got up from the ground and immediately walked towards the door. But when she reached the door, she turned back, took the map from Hermione's hand, and quickly searched for Snape's direction.

"What happened? Why were you petrified?" Hermione asked like a cannonball, but before Jane answered her, she figured it out, "It's Professor Snape! He hid you here! He It must be because I don't want you to go out!"

Jane ignored Hermione, her eyes quickly locked on Snape's movement - he was running outside the castle.Beside him were Bellatrix, Amycus, Fenrir and five or six Death Eaters, and behind them was Harry.

Without hesitation, she grabbed the Marauder's Map and rushed out.

"Jane!" said Hermione, running after Jane, "We have to go to the Great Hall!"

Jane said to Hermione as she ran, "I can't go!"

"Jane!" Hermione watched as Jane ran towards the other side of the corridor, where she knew there was a shortcut to the outside of the castle.

Jane couldn't care less now, and she had this extremely ominous premonition in her heart.Although she didn't know whether this ominous mood had anything to do with Snape, but the only thing she was sure about was that as long as she could see Snape, all her thoughts would disappear.

The night outside was completely dark, and it would have been very difficult for Jane to find Snape and the others in this moonless and lightless night unless there was a magical light in the distance.Unless she was willing to risk lighting her wand and reading the words on the Marauder's Map.

From a distance, she heard Harry's heart-piercing roar——

"There are many obstacles!"

In the night, Jane saw a flash of light from Harry's wand, hitting a Death Eater. But something hit Harry again, so he fell to the ground.

"Burning flames!"

Who knows who cast the spell, Hagrid's hut caught fire.

"Footh is in there, you fiend—!" She heard Hagrid's growl interrupted by something.

"Clear as water!" Jane threw a spell towards Hagrid's cabin.

The fire in the house was quickly extinguished, but all noticed her presence.

Harry yelled at Jane, "Stop them! They killed Dumbledore!"

Jane's eyes widened in surprise, and she looked at Harry with disbelief, as if Harry was playing a century old joke on her.

"It's Jane Jean!" Someone among the Death Eaters recognized her, "She's the one the Dark Lord wants!"

"We need to get out of here!" Snape yelled, the expression on his face unseen in the night.

"Crucio!" A curse flew towards Jane.

Jane ducked, now that she had no time to digest Harry's words. She quickly cast a spell at the Death Eaters: "Quickly imprison!"

The author has something to say:

Alright, I've finished writing here, the male lead of this article has finally appeared!

Suddenly, I felt that Jane was not very attractive. Except for Derrick and Eden, there seemed to be no men who had ever pursued her. Even Ginny had more people who pursued her than Jane... I feel so sad...
