Chapter 216 Department of Mysteries (4)

The wall spins again, then stops.Harry picked a door at random, walked over and pushed it, but it didn't move.

"What's wrong?" Hermione asked.

"It's... locked..." Harry said as he slammed his whole body into it, but the door still didn't budge.

"It looks like that's it, isn't it?" Ron said excitedly, trying to force the door open with Harry: "It must be it."

"Get out of the way!" shrieked Hermione, pointing her wand at what should have been the lock, and muttering, "Arajo hole!"

Kemen is still the same.

"Sirius' knife!" Harry took the knife out of his robes and inserted it through the gap between the door and the wall.He swiped the knife from the top to the very bottom, then he pulled the knife out and bumped it again with his shoulder. The door was still shut as tightly as before. Not only that, but when Harry looked down, he saw that the blade had melted.

"In that case, let's leave this room alone," said Hermione decisively.

"But what if it's this room?" Ron said, looking at the door with worry and longing.

"Impossible, Harry can go through all the doors in his dream." Jane said firmly.

Hermione made another cross on the door, and the wall began to turn again.

When the wall stopped again, Harry chose another door.

Jane was still the first to walk through this door, especially after having the previous experience, Jane told Harry and the others to wait until she was sure she was safe before going in.

When Jane came into the room, she saw the dials of many clocks shimmering. They ranged in size from grandfather clocks to travel clocks, hung between bookshelves, or stood on tables the length of the entire room.Because of this, a rapid, never-ending ticking sound filled the room, like the sound of thousands of tiny footsteps. The diamond-bright jumping light came from a towering bell-shaped crystal glass dome at the far end of the room.

"Come in." Jane said to the people outside the door.

The rest walked in, and then Harry's face lit up: "This is it! This way!"

This time, it was Harry who led the way again.

They walked quickly all the way, no matter what they saw on the road, they didn't stop.Until they came to another door, Harry pushed it, and the door opened.

The rooms here are as high as cathedrals, filled with soaring shelves filled with little dusty glass spheres, but nothing else.More candlesticks were embedded in the shelves at regular intervals, from which came dim light, the same blue flames as in the black round room. Those little glass balls glow faintly in these lights. It was cold inside the house.

They arrived at row 97 as Harry had dreamed, but they didn't see Sirius, nor did they see anyone.

"This is a trap, we have to leave." At this moment, Jane immediately concluded that this should be a trap to lure them, and Voldemort used Harry's dream to trick him here.

"No, it's impossible." Harry looked flustered, and he held up his wand to look for the voice of his godfather.

That's when Jane noticed that the shelf Harry was standing on had his name engraved on it, and Ron noticed it too.He pointed to the shelf behind Harry in surprise: "There is your name, look."

Harry turned his head and looked in the direction Ron pointed: "No."

"Right in front of you," said Ron.

The bad premonition in Jane's heart deepened: "Don't worry about it, we have to get out of here."

But apart from Hermione agreeing with Jane's words, Harry and Ron did not follow her advice.Ginny, Neville, and Luna stood there, also looking tense.

Just when Jane was about to drag Harry away, he suddenly reached out and took down the crystal ball from the shelf.

"You shouldn't have one!" Hermione exclaimed in a low voice.

"Whatever, we're already here." Harry held the crystal ball in his hand.

At the moment Harry had just finished speaking, suddenly many dark figures appeared around them, blocking their way on both sides. The eyes of these men gleamed from the slits of their hoods, and twelve wands with bright tips aimed at their hearts.Ginny held her breath in fright, and Jane immediately turned her steps, her back facing everyone, her wand held up in front of her face.

"Give it to me, Potter." Malflusius came out slowly from one end of the shelf, he looked at them arrogantly, stretched out his hand, palm upwards: "Take the Give me something."

They were surrounded, and there were twice their numbers on the other side.Jane was not sure that she could break out of the siege, let alone get everyone back safely. At this time, she once again hoped that Snape would find the note she left in the office sooner.

"Where's Sirius?" Harry asked, raising his wand, looking at Lucius.

Several Death Eaters laughed, and a shrill female voice said triumphantly, "The Dark Lord always knows everything!"

"Always—" Malfoy echoed in a low voice, "Now, give me the Prophecy Ball, Potter."

It's Bellatrix.Jane recognized the talking female Death Eater at a glance. She had seen pictures of Bellatrix's escape in the newspapers.

"I know Sirius is here. I know, you caught him!" Harry held his wand tightly, holding the crystal ball in his arms: "You have to let him go!"

"It's time for you to understand the difference between reality and dreams, Potter." Lucius Malfoy said, "Give me the prophecy ball quickly, or we'll have to use wands."

"Okay, come on then!" Harry shouted without timidity.

Just when Lucius was about to continue persuading Harry, Jane suddenly threw a spell at the shelves on both sides.Suddenly the tall shelf began to topple, and thousands of crystal balls fell from the shelf.

"Run!" Jane shouted, pushing Harry at the same time: "Don't let them take your things away!"

Harry and the others ran back in a panic, and Jane cut off their rear. Two masked Death Eaters intercepted Jane, flying red spells towards her.Jane bent back and avoided the magic spells flying from the left and right. Then she waved her wand, and the shelves that had been erected on both sides of her immediately turned sideways, knocking the two Death Eaters into the air.

Jane stood up and ran forward, Harry and the others had already ran out of this room. She heard Bellatrix and Lucius chasing them out, and Jane didn't dare to stay any longer and ran out of the room. But when she returned to the circular room, she was surprised to find that all the marks made by Hermione on the door had disappeared.
