Chapter 204 Premonition of the Storm (1)

Hermione didn't know where Jane's confidence and courage came from, and she was sure that Professor Snape would not be in any danger, but before she could ask, the door of the lounge was opened, and Harry appeared in front of them with a pale expression.

"Oh, thank God you're back!" Hermione stood up from her chair. "You look terrible, what happened? They didn't fire you!"

Harry walked up to Jane and Hermione dejectedly, and sat down on the chair. His expression was extremely bad: "Dumbledore has left."

"What?" Hermione stared at him with wide eyes, and asked in disbelief: "Dumbledore? I don't understand what you mean, Harry, please be clear. Why did Dumbledore leave?"

"It's Umbridge!" Harry said bitterly, "And Malfoy!"

"What happened?" Jane asked.

"Malfoy caught me running out of the Room of Requirement, and they took me to the headmaster's office. Fudge, the Minister of Magic, is there, and he's coming after me!" said Harry through gritted teeth." They originally wanted me to be expelled because of the DA thing. But Dumbledore said that the DA was organized by him to overthrow the Ministry of Magic-why would he say that? The DA has nothing to do with him, I am the organization people!"

"My God!" Hermione gasped and slumped down on the armchair. "Fudge wants Dumbledore to leave! He's always wanted to control Hogwarts! Look at Umbridge!"

"Dumbledore must have his reasons for doing this, but obviously he doesn't want you to leave the school." Jane looked at Harry and said, "So you saw Marietta, didn't you?"

"Yes." Having said that, Harry curled up like a deflated ball, covering his face with his hands: "I should listen to you, Jane..."

"It's too late to say anything now." Jane didn't care about these things: "I'm afraid our life will be even more difficult after Dumbledore leaves."

Sometimes both Harry and Hermione wonder if Jane's words are some kind of prophecy, because what she says always happens nine times out of ten.The next morning, they saw the latest news on the bulletin board.

The Ministry of Magic has ordered Dolores Jane Umbridge (Senior Inquisitor) to replace Albus Dumbledore as Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

The above regulations are in line with the "No. 20 No. [-] Education Order".

Signed: Minister for Magic Cornelius Oswald Fudge

As Jane said, Umbridge became their new headmaster, taking over Dumbledore's position, which made her control over the school even stricter. She even set up an investigation operation team, and Malfoy was the captain of the investigation operation team, and had the same right to deduct points as the professor.

But where there is oppression, there will naturally be resistance. As Gryffindor's most troublesome and creative students—the Weasley twins set off fireworks in the school, and all kinds of fireworks filled every classroom in the school. On Umbridge's first day in office, Hogwarts was a mess.

Both the professor and the students seemed happy to see it happen, they stood by and called on Umbridge to deal with the fireworks in the classroom. And these fireworks, even at night, flew out of the classroom from time to time and exploded in the corridor or on the lawn outside the castle.

For a while, the business of the Weasley twins was surprisingly good. Students kept asking them to buy fireworks, and even Hermione approved of their behavior.

However, because of Marietta's affairs, the relationship between Harry and Cho entered the cold war again.Jane felt that Harry might not like Qiu as much as he thought, and a girl with Qiu's personality might not be suitable for Harry.

In the weeks that followed, the Weasley twins still found various opportunities to cause trouble for Umbridge and Filch. However, during this period, Jane discovered a more serious problem-Harry seemed to have terminated the study of Occlumency.

Hermione was also very concerned about this. She ran after Harry, asking, "Why don't you take Occlumency classes anymore?"

"I told you, Snape thinks I have some basics now, and I can continue to learn by myself." Harry muttered.

"So you don't have those weird dreams anymore?" said Hermione suspiciously.

"Probably." Harry didn't look at her, but at the parchment in front of him.

"No, I don't think Snape should stop taking Occlumency lessons unless you're absolutely sure you can control those dreams yourself!" said Hermione indignantly, before she turned her head and looked away as she sat pretending to be reading. Jane. When she was sure that Jane would not speak, she turned her head and continued to say to Harry: "Harry, I think you should go to him, please—"

"No, don't talk about it, Hermione, okay?" said Harry firmly.

Hermione obviously didn't want to bring the conversation to a standstill either, and she finally stopped pestering Harry to force him to explain why.Instead, he quietly said to Jane while Harry was running to play wizard chess with Ron: "I think this matter is not as simple as Harry said, there must be something wrong between them."

"Do you think Harry attacked Snape and made him angry?" Jane guessed half-jokingly.

"Okay, Jane." Hermione said seriously: "This is serious-Dumbledore has been asking Harry to learn Occlumency, thinking that Voldemort intends to control Harry's mind. But it is obvious that Harry is still dreaming, but Professor Nepe will leave him alone."

Jane also felt that Snape was not an irresponsible person, and he might have his own reasons for doing so.

"That's not normal," said Hermione. "I thought you might want to talk to Professor Snape about Harry's Occlumency."

Jane thought for a moment, then nodded.

Regarding the fact that Snape terminated Harry's learning of Occlumency, Jane also felt very strange. She didn't understand what happened between Snape and Harry that caused the two of them to ignore Voldemort's threats and Dumbledore's orders. Occlumency study terminated.

In the afternoon, Jane quietly went to the cellar.

Since it was now the Easter break and most of the Slytherin students had gone home for the holidays, Jane's appearance on Slytherin's territory did not attract attention. But what Jane didn't expect was that Snape actually changed the password of the office without telling her.It was clear that Snape didn't want to see her, otherwise he would have told her before changing the password - he had had many chances to tell her the new password, he always had a chance in Potions class, but he didn't Did not do so.

But then Jane remembered that Snape seemed to rarely go to Gryffindor's side during Potions class, and mostly wandered among the Slytherin students.Even when Neville made the potion look like a pile of stinking mud, he just deducted the points coldly, without even going over to take a look. This is obviously not in line with Snape's previous style - he used to like to put Neville's poor potion was displayed in front of everyone, and then he made a few harsh comments, and finally deducted points from Shi Shiran.

This is abnormal!
