Chapter 19 Potions Class (2)

The first Potions class kicked off when Snape deliberately made things difficult for Harry, and it took 10 minutes to officially enter the class. In this class, they have to learn how to make a simple potion to treat scabies. They work in groups of two and work together.Jane was in a group with Hermione because of the seat, and Hermione was in charge of cooking, and she was in charge of crushing the teeth of the poisonous tongue.Snape dragged his long black cloak around the classroom, and all the students he passed received his personal guidance plus sneering. When he got to Jane and Hermione, he paused for a moment.

Jane knew that he was going to "guidance" their group.

Snape stood beside them for a while, and was about to speak when there was a sudden puff of acid green smoke and a loud hissing sound from the classroom. Then Jane watched as Neville knocked Moxey's cauldron to the ground, spilling the potion on the flagstones and burning holes in Harry's and Ron's shoes.Within seconds, the whole class was on the stools.Neville was drenched in the potion when the cauldron was overturned, and by this time he was screaming and screaming with red, swollen scabies all over his arms and legs.

"Idiot!" Snape growled, his face almost horrific.Swiping his wand to wipe away the potion splashed on the ground, Snape's appearance was comparable to that of an abyssal demon in hell: "I think you probably put the porcupine quill in without removing the pot from the fire. ,Yes or no!"

Neville burst into tears, Jane couldn't bear to watch it any longer, so before Snape got angry again, Jane said, "Professor, I think Neville should go to the medical wing first."

Snape turned his head and stared at her coldly with black eyes: "Then what are you waiting for here! Take him to the hospital immediately!"

Jane walked quickly to Neville's side, slipping a handkerchief to wipe his tears at the same time. The laughter in Slytherin didn't stop from the moment it started, and Jane felt that Potions class was probably the class she hated the most.

"Don't cry." Jane supported Neville and walked towards the medical wing, because there was no one in the corridor at this time because of class.

Neville whimpered and twisted his nose with a handkerchief: "Thank you, Jane."

"It's okay, I don't want to take Potions class anyway." Jane is not very familiar with the terrain of Hogwarts, especially the medical wing she has never been to: "Do you know how to get to the medical wing?"

Neville shook his head with red eyes: "I haven't been there either."

Jane felt a bit of a headache, but thankfully it didn't take them long to meet Gryffindor's resident ghost, Nearly Not Nick.

"Hello, Sir Nicholas of Mimsy," greeted Jane.

"Hello, children, oh, look what's going on here?" Nearly headless Nick circled around them, tsk-tsk said: "You are taking Potions class."

"You're right." Jane said: "We encountered a little situation, so I wanted to take Neville to the medical wing, but neither of us knew how to get there. Fortunately, we met you here."

"Yes, you guys are lucky." Nearly Headless Nick was very satisfied with Jane's polite attitude, and he enthusiastically showed them the direction to the medical wing: "Go here, and then turn a few corners arrive."

"Okay, thank you." Jane thanked Nearly Headless Nick, and then led Neville towards the direction pointed by the ghost.

When Jane came to the medical wing, she saw a witch wearing a nurse's uniform approaching. She looked very kind and stern. When she noticed Neville's injury, she couldn't help cursing: "It's Severus again. Class, three students have come this week! Don’t tell me it’s another cauldron explosion.”

The head nurse of Hogwarts Medical Wing is called Bobby Pomfrey, and the little wizards here call her Madam Pomfrey. When Jane was leading the future medical wing, she saw Madam Pomfrey's photo and introduction in the staff column on the side, so she knew that this kind and stern head nurse was an experienced medical practitioner.

Madam Pomfrey made Neville drink the potion for treating scabies, and then told Jane to go back to class as soon as possible and left.

"I don't want to go back so soon." Sitting by Neville's hospital bed, Jane said, "I don't want to take Potions class at all, what do you think, Neville."

Neville thought of Snape's face, and trembled with lingering fear: "I don't want to either."

"But... If I'm not there, Hermione should be the only one, and she has one less helper." Jane thought that she had better go back quickly, otherwise Hermione might be "favored" by Snape if she was in a hurry.

Neville drove Jane away with a pale complexion, as if he was watching a soldier who was about to die. The appearance of Ai Ai made Jane mistakenly think that she was about to die in the potions classroom.

When Jane returned to the cellar, Snape just glanced at her and said nothing.

Hermione breathed a sigh of relief: "Thank goodness you're finally back. I don't have time to get the teeth of these vipers. I have to watch the cauldron to count the time."

"I'll do it." Jane took the props and continued to smash them there, then she lowered her voice and said, "How is it? Nothing earth-shattering happened, right?"

Hermione took a sneak look at Snape, who was on the Slytherin side, and said in a low voice, "He deducted a point from Harry for not reminding Neville to put the porcupine quill."

Jane was not surprised by this at all: "Two points were deducted for a class, so it seems that we should be able to live in peace next time."

As Jane said, nothing unexpected happened until after the Potions class.Jane and Hermione got an 'A' for the potion they brewed and a 'D' for Harry and Ron when they turned in their homework.

When leaving the classroom, Jane walked behind Ron and Harry and heard Ron complain: "Even the potion that Goyle boiled out of no one can get a 'P', but we actually Just got a 'D'. This is too much!"

Jane thought this was normal, because anyone with a brain could tell that Snape didn't like Gryffindor, and he hated Harry Potter even more.As for the reason, maybe only he himself knows.

"How is Neville?" Hermione asked, walking beside Jane.

Jane shrugged, and said relaxedly: "It is estimated that he will stay in the medical wing for one night. I think he will be able to enjoy his weekend normally tomorrow."
