[HP] The girl with black hair
Chapter 32
As expected, Artemia came to the entrance of the principal's office on the third floor early in the morning, and read out the password in the letter sent by the owl in the morning to the golden eagle.
"Lemon fudge."
Following her words, the stairs on the golden eagle slowly turned upwards, taking her all the way to the eighth floor.
Artemia exhaled lightly, raised her hand and knocked on the door: "Professor Dumbledore, Artemia Box, come to visit."
It took a long time before Dumbledore's old voice came through the door: "Come in, kid."
Artemia opened the door as she said, and closed the door when she walked in. She walked slowly to Professor Dumbledore who was sitting at the table eating candy, and showed a harmless smile: "Dumbledore Professor, are you looking for me?" She glanced at Phoenix standing on the pole beside her.
"Oh, yes." Dumbledore put down the mints in his hand. He followed Artemia's gaze and introduced to her with a smile: "His name is Fawkes, and he is a phoenix."
Artemia nodded, and eagerly asked the white-haired old man, "Can I touch him?" She stroked her hair shyly, "I've never seen a phoenix before."
Dumbledore picked up the candy he had put down just now, unpacked it, and chewed it into pieces. The coolness of mint filled his mouth. He smiled kindly: "Of course, Miss Box."
Artemia walked over cautiously, and Fox stood on the pole with his head held high, feeling the little witch's gentle caress along his feathers under his eyelids, Fox squinted his eyes, and let out a nice chirping sound.
Professor Dumbledore looked at them, stuffing the candy into his mouth one by one.
Artemia stroked all of Fox's hair before stopping, "Sorry, Professor Dumbledore, I was a little excited when I saw Phoenix for the first time."
"It's okay, Miss Box, you must know that the phoenix is a firebird, and even its feathers are warm. I hope you are all right."
Artemia smiled: "Then what do you want me to do?"
Dumbledore waved his wand, and a glass of pumpkin juice appeared on the table, "Would you like something to drink, Miss Box."
"No," Artemia shook her head, "I'm not thirsty, professor."
"Then, do you want some small cakes?" He said, and another plate of small cream cakes appeared on the table.
"Sorry, professor, I'm not hungry." Artemia still refused with a smile.
Dumbledore nodded, didn't insist anymore, and asked her with a smile: "I saw your grades, your Potions class is excellent, and Severus often praises you to me."
The corners of Artemia's mouth twitched slightly, she looked like the kind of person who was easy to deceive, she still kept smiling.
"Have you thought about what you want to do after graduation?"
Artemia was taken aback: "I don't know, it's still a long time before graduation."
Dumbledore put his palms together on the table, his eyes still fixed on the girl opposite, "I know there is a potion shop in your family, maybe you will continue to operate it?"
Artemia thought for a while: "Maybe?" If she didn't know that her father was the mysterious man who killed the old lady's son, maybe she would. Now she doesn't know how to go back to face her grandmother.
"If that's the case, then I think your Potions professor would be happy to guide you outside of class." Dumbledore winked at her.
"What?" Artemia raised one eyebrow in doubt.
"That's right, Professor Snape has agreed that he will provide you with some evening potion guidance next semester." Dumbledore looked at Artemia through his glasses with sharp eyes.
Artemia opened her mouth, and finally smiled: "It's my honor, Professor."
'Bang' the door of the principal's room was pushed open, and a well-dressed big Malfoy was standing there with a snake-headed cane. He glanced at Artemia, and then strode in without looking sideways, "I hope I didn't disturb to you."
"We just finished talking, Lucius," Dumbledore smiled, and looked at Artemia, "Miss Box, you can go back, I hope you can catch up with breakfast."
Artemia glanced at them and nodded: "Then I will take my leave." She turned to Lucius, "Goodbye, Mr. Malfoy."
After Lucius gave her a perfunctory look, she walked out of the principal's office, and as soon as she came down the stairs, she saw Draco leaning against the wall, and Artemia was a little startled: "Draco, you Why are you here?"
When Draco saw Artemia come down, he quickly stood up straight and coughed lightly: "I asked Millicent, and she said you're not in the dormitory."
Artemia looked into his eyes, "Did you not sleep well last night?"
Hearing this, Draco quickly stretched out his hand to cover his face, thought for a while and put it down confidently, and complained: "It's not your snake, he insists on climbing into bed!"
"Eh..." Artemia thought for a while, probably because Herman slept next to her since she was a child, and slept in the usual bed position.
Draco continued to complain: "He climbed into a Malfoy's bed!"
Artemia tugged on the boy's robe: "Okay, I'll take him away tonight."
Draco snorted twice, just as he was about to say something when he saw a bright red in her sleeve, he frowned and asked, "What is this?"
Artemia looked around and made a 'shush' gesture to him, and she leaned into his ear: "You will know in the evening."
The girl's approach made the boy blush, and he looked away: "Let's go, if it's later, I can guarantee that the three idiots of Gore must have finished eating."

After Artemia left, Lucius glanced over the cup of pumpkin juice and cream cake on the table, and slightly twitched the corner of his mouth: "I didn't expect you to come back so soon."
"I've let you down, Lucius." Dumbledore smiled.
Lucius raised his chin, his light pupils looked down at the old man sitting there: "It seems that you have caught the prisoner, who is it?"
"I think you should be very clear, Lucius." Dumbledore took out the diary with a big hole in it from the drawer: "It's him, Voldemort to be precise." His eyes looked sternly He, but he didn't see Lucius' panic, only the fear when he heard that name.
"Ridiculous, we all know he disappeared 12 years ago."
Dumbledore looked at him in warning and raised his eyebrows: "However, I hope that in the future, there will be no more items from his school days."
Lucius gripped the snake-headed cane tightly: "Of course I hope, after all, I am the director of this school." He pursed his lips, "I'll go first." After he finished speaking, he raised his snake-headed cane and strode forward. out.
After he left, Snape came down the stairs with a gloomy face, his face was more gloomy than usual, and he looked at Dumbledore coldly: "I don't know myself, when will I agree?" I gave Boxers tutoring outside of class."
Dumbledore sighed: "Apart from Ginny's words, we can't find any reason to doubt her. She is like a student who knows nothing."
Snape spit out a sentence gloomily: "Miss Weasley didn't even know what she had done at the time."
"But Harry was knocked down by the Stunning Curse." Dumbledore raised his hand and picked up the diary. "In Harry's last memory, this diary has not been what it is now."
"So," Snape picked up the glass of pumpkin juice, "you want to use Veritaserum on her."
"Yes, isn't she very vigilant?" The white-haired old man narrowed his eyes.
Snape put down his glass and snorted coldly, "What does that have to do with after-school tutoring?"
"The portraits at Hogwarts have always told me that Pox is like an ordinary student every day. I can't just trust those portraits." Dumbledore stood up and looked directly at the sullen Snape: "Severus For Harry's sake, we're all going to keep an eye on her."
Snape's chest rose and fell violently, and it took him a long time to squeeze one out between his teeth, "Okay."
