Reincarnated as Gotham's beauty trash

Chapter 65 Reincarnation Day 62

I was optimistic about the location before. There is a barren hill behind Wayne Manor. They say that it is Wayne's private territory, and no one goes there.I want to hide here until my second uncle comes to pick me up.

Tall trees block the sun, leaving only large shadows on the ground.

I tried my best, using both hands and feet, and finally climbed to a tree, where the dense branches and leaves could just hide me inside.

I squatted in the recess of the branch, shrinking into a small ball.

I miss my mom and dad so much, I don't know why they don't answer my calls.I just hope that the second uncle can come to pick me up as soon as possible and take me home.

I don't know how long I hid in the tree, it may have been a long time or it may not be long, because I fell asleep curled up in the tree.I didn't lie to Kassan, I was really tired.

When I woke up, my body was very warm.I moved and realized that someone had covered me with a small blanket.

A person sat next to me, "It's a bit cold now, sleeping outside is easy to catch cold."

Bruce, who was supposed to be locked in the cupboard by me, sat on the branch and looked down, "Your traces haven't been cleaned up. It's easy to find your location by following the traces."

"I've packed it." I hugged the blanket tightly and whispered.

Bruce gave me a look, "Not good enough."

He is so annoying. But I'm wrong, so I don't care about it generously.

"How did you get out of the cupboard?" I asked him.

"I found a table knife and picked the deadbolt from the inside," Bruce said.

I sat up, moved around wrapped in a blanket, and leaned over to observe his expression.

He didn't seem to be angry, and his expression didn't change from before.

The corners of his mouth curled down, oh, he was angry.

I bowed my head sincerely, "Sorry, I shouldn't have locked you in the cupboard."

He didn't make a sound, and I pitifully kicked his calf with my foot hidden in the blanket, "Forgive me."

"You don't even know where you're wrong." Bruce shot me a little angrily.

I felt wronged and said, "But this is your home, not mine. I want to go back to my own home."

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw him secretly looking at me, and he was about to let go, so I continued my efforts, "Don't tell them, I'll hide in another place, okay?"

"Can you get down the tree by yourself?" He was sighing, I don't understand why he is always sighing, maybe it will make him look more mature.

"Don't underestimate me," I said seriously, "I can do it, I have fully mastered the tree-down technique."

"Okay," he sounded reluctant, "I forgive you, are you hungry?"

He fished out a small bag of biscuits from his pocket, which Dick had grabbed for us from the snack tray in the living room earlier. "Cookies?"

"Thank you!" I happened to be a little hungry.

Bruce is not a very pleasant guy, he always puts on a sad, taciturn expression, and starts beeping if he catches you.

If I wasn't very hungry, I would have blocked his mouth with the biscuit in my hand.

I finished the biscuit, unilaterally thought he forgave me, and we settled with the biscuit.I clapped my hands, tied the blanket around my waist, hugged the tree trunk with all fours, and slid down the tree slowly.

"What are you going to do?"

"I'm going to hide in another place," I looked up at him, "until my second uncle comes over."

"...Did you not hear a word of what I just said?"

"No." What did he just say?

He sighed for the third time, frowned like a little old man, stepped on a few trunks and kicked off the tree.

"Your second uncle is coming soon, you can go to the lobby and wait for him, I promise it's safe here."

"Be wary of bad people," I said patiently, "You said so."

"I admit that the current situation is a bit strange." Bruce took out the biscuit from his pocket again. He must be trying to bribe me.

Someone shouted faintly in the distance, I was about to run when Bruce grabbed my wrist.

"A gentleman shouldn't pull a lady's hand." I tried to shake it off, but it didn't work.

The boy had a pretty face but felt angry all the time, "Listen carefully, your second uncle is here."

"How do I know if they lied to me?"

He tightened my wrist, "If you run again, I will sue your parents."

I widened my eyes, how could he be so despicable, "No!"

"Then you and I will go!"

I shook my head, "That doesn't work either."

Just as the two of us were at a stalemate, the distant voice came a little closer, allowing me to hear the mixed voice.

The second uncle's voice can make me shudder from head to toe whenever I hear it, and I subconsciously respond, "I'll come out right away!"

This time without Bruce's urging, I dragged him forward, stumbling all the way out of the depths of the woods.

The second uncle was standing among a group of people, a bit strange, he seemed to be much older than the last time I saw him.

"Lucille, come here."

When I got here, I recalled the horror of my second uncle, trotted a few steps and stopped in front of him, unwilling to lean against him, "Uncle Abner, when are we going home?"

"You're going to be here for a while, Lucille." He took out a lollipop from his pocket and thrust it into my hand a bit forcefully. It was my favorite flavor of yogurt.

"Your parents, they have something to leave, and you have to live in Wayne Mansion for a while."

The second uncle covered my head with his hand and rubbed it, like a clumsy consolation, "It's good here, you will be happy here."

I'm a little bit, no, I'm disappointed, I thought my second uncle would take me home when he came over, but he let me stay here instead.

"Don't lose your temper," Second Uncle saw through my mood at a glance, "This matter will be over soon."

"Oh." I fiddled with the lollipop in my hand in frustration.

I don't know what the second uncle discussed with the people in the Wayne mansion. I saw him talking with the housekeepers Afu and Dick with a serious expression for a long time.

He brought me a small cake and left in a hurry.

I don't want to be in the living room, alone in the game room. The game room door was knocked three times. I hugged the pillow on the sofa and made no sound, hoping they thought I wasn't here.

The person outside the door was sure that I was in the game room, "I just walked in."

Bruce's voice.

He walked into the room with the small cake that my second uncle brought me, and put the cake on the table, "Don't you try it, it won't taste good after a long time."

I buttoned the tassel of the pillow, "You can eat it, it's my apology."

"What your second uncle gave you should be the flavor you like." He sat next to me and pushed the plate towards me, "Do you want to play a game?"

"You don't know how to coax girls at all, at all." I narrowed my eyes, "You can't deceive people just by your appearance."

"He didn't need to fool anyone," Dick came in from the door with a tired face, "or so he did."

He looked at me with embarrassment, "It's enough to cheat one."

Dick sat down next to me, picked an apple from the fruit bowl, and peeled it with a paring knife.

"I know you may not be very willing to stay here, but I promise this is the best way at present, and we don't want you to do what you don't want to do."

With a few easy turns of his hand, the apple peel rolled down from his hand smoothly, forming long and continuous strips.

"I may not be the best, but I will try my best to deal with everything. Give me a little time?"

He held the apple in his hand, pierced it with a fruit knife, scratched it a few times, stacked it on the plate, and when he took his hand away, there was a neat plate of bunnies.

Dick smiled at us, "Anyone want a bunny apple?"

No one answered, and the scene was a bit awkward.Dick smiled sarcastically, "I'll put it here, you can take it yourself if you want to eat."

After speaking, he turned to Bruce, his expression becoming serious.

Bruce couldn't react in time, he grabbed his face and pulled it back and forth like kneading dough.

"I've wanted to do this for a long time," Dick sighed. "Now I'm the head of the family."

"Master Dick," a voice interrupted his intoxication, and Ah Fu pushed open the door, "You should go down for dinner."

He nodded to Bruce, "And Master Bruce, Miss Lucille. I think lamb chops and baked lobster will suit your appetite."

This family is very strange, the oldest person besides Ah Fu is Dick.Because of Ah Fu's supervision, the people at the dinner table did not fight.

They're talking about a gun that goes back in time, and about an organization called Gotham Benevolent Society. When they found that I was staring at them in the middle of the conversation, they changed the topic tacitly.

And cell phones. They seem to be able to take out their mobile phones to take pictures anytime, anywhere, accompanied by exaggerated smiles and shaking shoulders.

I was very worried, maybe the second uncle saw me wrong and left me in some inconspicuous mental hospital.

No, I didn't mean to say Ah Fu and Kashan were bad.

When I went to bed at night, in order to prevent the incident of my escape through the window from happening again, I was arranged to sleep with Kashan.

After I showered, I changed into the flannel pajamas Cassan had given me and lay down on the sheets that Ah Fu had just changed.

"Sorry," I pulled the blanket up to my chin, "I tore your sheet."

"That's not my favorite sheet," Kassan said slowly. "You have to apologize to Fu, who cleans it. And Dick, he had a hard day."

I shrink back into the quilt, "Are you all Bruce's family members, why do you live in his house?"

Kashan turned sideways and tucked the quilt up for me, "We are your family too."

I didn't speak, and turned over with the teddy bear brought by my second uncle, facing the window.

I didn't plan to go to sleep, and I wanted to sneak out after Cassan fell asleep. But in the process of waiting, I unconsciously closed my eyes.

Fortunately, I took a light sleep on the tree branch in the afternoon, and when I woke up, it was not bright outside and it was still night.

Behind me was empty, I touched it, it was a cold bedding, Kashan was not behind me.

Where did she go?

I tiptoed out of bed, opened the doorknob, and poked my head through the crack of the door.

Left, right, nobody, safe.

I didn't bother to put on my slippers, so I closed the door and slipped out.

It went so smoothly that no one noticed me and I couldn't hear anyone else.

The mansion at night could hear the sound of a needle falling, and I headed for the gate in the dark.

It was only a few steps before I could touch the gate of Wayne House.

I don't want to be surrounded by a group of weird brothers and sisters. I'm not someone who my second uncle can get rid of with just a small cake and a lollipop!

One step, two steps, three steps, seeing that I was about to reach the handle of the door, a hand came out from the slant, and pressed my shoulder.

"Ah!" I screamed, and was scooped up and sat on his shoulder.

"A little mouse got caught," snorted Dick, "but I won't say who."

"Despicable." Jason leaned against the wall, holding the phone in his hand, "You've been squatting here for a long time."
