[HP] Missy and Mischief

Chapter 3 Divination Lesson

The curriculum of Hogwarts is very loose. There are only classes from Monday to Friday every week. Even the upper grades only have four classes a day at most. Feed yourself like a Tebo warthog at the desk, and self-disciplined students have more time to explore the vast magical world by themselves, but for wizards who are more thirsty for knowledge, so much spare time is not enough.

On the Monday of the first week of school, even the sleepy Hufflepuff tables were packed with students.Cassandra had to come to terms with the fact that she was going to eat in a crowd.

After a full night's sleep, she has regained her radiance, and her golden hair has become smooth and shiny. The small emerald bow hair clips securely lock the hair from her temples behind her ears. She forked a fried egg to her mouth, and found that the surroundings began to become noisy again.

If there's anything that can make a crowd of Slytherins burst into laughter, it's the burlesque act that Master Malfoy triggers when he sees Potter...

"Woohoo! Potter, the dementors are here, woohoo!" Draco pretended to faint again.

The Slytherin table was not far from the Gryffindor table, and Cassandra could clearly hear one of the twins calmly reassuring Harry Potter, saying: "... that little brat was also photographed last night. The ghost creeped into our cubicle and almost peed your pants, didn't you, Fred?"

"Precise." Fred glanced at Slytherin contemptuously, and the disdain contained in it made Cassandra frowned slightly, and touched Cassius Warrington without saying a word , motioning him to go to class together.

"I'm willing to help you..." Cassius lazily picked up his backpack, worked hard and followed the young lady to the north tower.

They're a divination class, meeting Sybill Trelawney on the first day of term.

Climbing to the top of the north tower and pushing open the circular trapdoor, Cassandra carefully sat down at a small round table with no one in it. The printed futon without any support made her feel very uncomfortable. But since there was no final assessment last semester, she couldn't decide which one to give up, arithmetic and divination, so she had to come to this breathless small classroom again.

Many students came to the classroom one after another, and this mixture of attic and teahouse filled with inferior aroma became more and more closed, and those who came later had to find a place to share a table.

"A group of three... There must be a crystal ball in front of each person..." Trelawney said in her characteristic slurred, ethereal voice.

"Excuse me, give way, there is no room in front."

With a frivolous voice, a long leg straddled Cassandra's right side, and then a tall tall man sat down carefully, the long legs had no place to rest, she could only see a fiery red head moving Moved, and finally stuck myself in place with satisfaction.

"Hello, Weasley." Cassius nodded at him, even grinning a little.

Cassandra was surprised to find that the Weasley brothers - although she didn't know which one was in front of her - were really popular. At least in front of the indifferent Slytherins, he can have a few words without any grievances.

"Hello, Warrington. I'm Fred," he said enthusiastically, "by the way, did the farting cushion that George and I gave you last time really work? I really want to give our aunt a try too. try……"

"Quiet!" Professor Trelawney widened her frighteningly large and shining eyes, "Where did I just say... Yes, very few wizards have the mysterious talent to see through the future. You have already experienced at least After one school year of study, I understand that the subject of divination is the most unfathomable existence among all magical arts... This semester, you must continue to consolidate the foundation of crystal ball divination so that you can get a score that matches your talent in the Owls exam."

It was wonderful to hear about the Ordinary WORs from the mouth of this crazy old hag.Cassandra thought calmly. But with a Gryffindor sitting next to me, the world has gone mad.

"Don't worry, the content you are going to assess is what we have learned before—interpreting tea leaves, interpreting crystal balls, and interpreting palmistry," Professor Trelawney continued, "Minerva suggested that I let you practice more , saying that this will be beneficial to your exams, but I think the most important thing is whether you can successfully open the Celestial Eye..."

"Now, in groups of three, each of you has a crystal ball, a quill, and parchment in front of you. Look at the image displayed in the crystal ball, and compare it with No. 70 to 93 of "Seeing the Future Through the Fog" Page, decipher the pattern that appears in the crystal ball, draw it on the parchment, and pass it clockwise to your partner to read the revelations for each other." She pressed the head of the restless George, who looked a lot like Stretch out your legs and squat her, "I'll walk around, help and guide you."

I'm here to get a high score, be patient.

Cassandra kept imposing spiritual hints on herself. The smoke and smell in the classroom made people dizzy, and the special perfume on Cassius couldn't save it all. Involuntarily turned to that side, as if taking in fresh air.

"I don't seem to see anything. Does this mean that the crystal ball is too high quality and too transparent?" Fred's voice sounded, accompanied by George's snickering.

Trelawney stared through thick glasses.

Cassandra pulled herself together, frowned and stared for a while, then decisively began to scribble on the parchment: a four-legged creature with no specific shape, is it a centaur?A second look seemed less certain, and Cassandra decided to redraw a vicious hippogriff, given Trelawney's penchant for strange omens and misfortunes of all kinds.

Well, another snake from their academy, it's perfect...

Cassius copied a snake on the parchment according to gourds, and argued that the abdomen was too fat because he had just eaten an elephant.

"Brother, let me say that I need four more third eyes to explain what you drew," said Fred, whose parchment showed a creature with three heads, and Cassandra thought of replacing the three-headed creature. He reads the images and feels suffocated.

There's no way in the book what a three-headed dementor portends, is there?

Fred opened the tattered and curled "Piercing the Fog to See the Future", pretending to be unfathomable, and said: "The swallowing of a snake indicates... well, you have great ambitions, but this snake looks That's not good, man, it probably means your ambitions aren't big enough, your ambitions are shrinking!"

Cassius suppressed the burst of laughter from his throat, which sounded like a hiccup, and he pretended to hold up Kassandra's parchment: "The black snake... this may symbolize the students of our academy, the status That's right, that means we escaped a huge danger, I guess it's because our windows weren't broken, and we weren't drowned by the water from the Black Lake... Hippogriff, a bigger danger is coming, it's unknown, a Danger after danger."

Fred and Cassius looked at each other and laughed wildly.Cassandra rolled her eyes, "Boys..."

Professor Trelawney suddenly squeezed in front of their desk and announced loudly, "Very good! I heard that a student has successfully predicted the omen!"

The classroom suddenly fell silent.

"The black snake hanging around the neck, the approaching danger..." She looked at Cassandra's crystal ball again with her frighteningly large eyes, and took a deep breath: "My God, Miss Wolflin, I'm afraid you'll never marry—my poor child, though you're gifted, it's cruel to you—"

"I think she has a dozen boyfriends!" Everyone gathered together, and someone muttered something, and the classroom was suddenly filled with a happy atmosphere.Afterwards, they all turned their attention to Cassandra, wanting to hear what shocking remarks this "unfortunately single and old lady" would make about the crystal ball.

Cassandra thought about her words, and finally pinched the parchment through gritted teeth and said, "Three-headed dementors mean that one of us will kill the remaining two, and the ghosts will always hang on him—"

She did not forget to lift up her blond hair arrogantly, and threw them back, "I don't know if the crystal ball will indicate when this person will strike, I can't wait, heh."

"No! My dear, it's all wrong!" cried Professor Trelawney, trying to overpower her voice. "It's not a dementor, it's a three-headed wolf, a symbol of love - it looks like you're going to be Two fine young men pursued, and then the relationship fell apart—"

There were murmurs among the schoolmates, exuberant excitement at the humiliation of Slytherin's haughty young lady by a self-contained theory, and her sad fate of being toyed with by men (and more than one).

Who would say no to gossip from famous people?

Cassandra said calmly: "Professor, get out of class is almost over, I think I must quickly reject the love letters from four men, so that 'two outstanding young men' can pursue me."

She flicked her wand, "Alahoo hole!", the trapdoor slammed open, and she walked down the north tower without looking back while stepping on her high-heeled boots.

"Hey, Cassandra—I'm sorry, I mean, Wolflin, you know I was just scribbling, and you know that old madman, full of lies—" Fred hurried after him.

"Are you okay?" Cassandra asked coldly.

"Ginny told us you helped her find her way yesterday, and I wanted to thank—"

"We need to give you a gadget, but we haven't finished it yet." George also followed.

"If you're free tomorrow, come to the Quidditch pitch and we'll give it to you after training."

Cassandra nodded irrefutably, turned around and continued to leave with her high heels.

She had to stop the gossip and gossip before it got out.

The author has something to say:

① Draco has the aura of "10% automatic intelligence reduction within 50 meters of Potter", revisiting the original book will almost make them laugh to death...

② Cassius Wallington, a character in the original novel, a fifth-year student in Slytherin, was arranged to be Kassie's new follower, but he only worked hard to copy homework;
