Chapter 8 Notice

……

Turning 11 is a special day in the wizarding world.

Nobles don't throw a party on a child's birthday because there are more important things to do.

The only magic school in the UK will send a notice on this day!

In front of adults, especially in front of Lucius, Draco, who always tried to look up to his father, was a little absent-minded, looking out the window from time to time.

Narcissa and Emma peeked at Draco a few times, covering their mouths and laughing lowly.

At noon, I finally saw a great gray owl flying over in the distance.

Draco jumped up and ran to the window, even stretching out his arms for the owl to land on his arms.

"Draco!" Lucius yelled slowly from behind.

I noticed that Draco's body was visibly stiff, and he laughed unceremoniously in his heart.

"Dad..." Draco yelled in frustration, tried his best to maintain his posture and returned to the sofa.

The owl flapped its wings and landed on the quaint coffee table, and threw a light yellow envelope in front of Draco with emerald green writing on it.

"Baby, quickly open the letter!" Narcissa said happily.

"Okay, Mom!" Draco answered with a slight lift of his chin, and opened the envelope as calmly as possible.

Curiously, I took a look.

The envelope read: "Malfoy Manor, on the sofa, Mr. Draco Malfoy!"

"My dear, it will be your turn in three days!" Emma said with a smile.

Draco opened the letter and read it, then handed it to Lucius.

After Narcissa and Emma read it with a smile in turn, Draco handed the letter in front of me like a charity, "You should read it first!"

I gave Draco a quick look, I couldn't hold back my curiosity, and took the letter.

There was a smug look on Draco's lips.

"Baby, hurry up and write a reply! We will wait for you to have lunch together!" Narcissa said cheerfully.

"Dad, Mom, I'll be back soon!" Draco stood up, tugged on his wrinkle-free robe, and walked upstairs quickly.

Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed that, at some point, that strange creature called a house-elf had fed the owl with water and owl food.

After a nice lunch and a nap, the house-elf came in to report that several friends of the same age that Draco had invited had arrived.

Although there is no birthday party, it is still necessary to invite some playmates.

"How long are you going to dawdle, hurry up!" Draco said, pushing the door open.

"Ah!" I screamed, pulling the quilt over me.

Draco was stunned for a moment, then backed out immediately, closing the door behind him with a bang.

Gritting her teeth on the bed, she quickly picked up the skirt and put it on.

Draco was still waiting outside the door.

"You didn't know to knock on the door!" I said through gritted teeth.

"Lazy pig, it's long past nap time!"

The little boy has obviously adjusted his mentality.

"Sorry!" I said, grinding my back molars.

"Your ribbed body is too scary to be seen, huh!" Draco raised his chin proudly, turned and walked towards the stairs, "By the way, you'd better pack up and dress up quickly, Pansy, Blaise... are coming soon, they Nobles who enrolled in the same year as us..."

Seeing Draco's straight back, I almost jumped up.

Ever since I came to the magic world, my sophistication and stability over the years have gradually crumbled...

"Miss, miss, master, please go to the living room!"

A sharp voice sounded outside the door.

It's a house-elf!

I breathed a sigh of relief and opened the door.

Two large bat-like ears, a pair of protruding green eyes the size of tennis balls, a long thin nose threaded like an old pillowcase, with holes cut into the arms and legs.

I've always been confused by the haunting crowd of Malfoy Manor, each seemingly identical house-elf, well, maybe more because I subconsciously don't pay attention to this strange creature.

"Miss, miss, I'm Dobby! You're back from the Muggle world, aren't you?"

There was clearly something different about this house-elf, as he was the first to ask the question.

"Yes, uh, Dobby, do you have any questions?" I asked hesitantly.

"Yes, yes, miss!" Dobby exclaimed excitedly, looking at me expectantly, "Have you seen Harry Potter? It is said that he is at a relative's house in the Muggle world..."

"Dobby, what are you doing?" Draco's voice sounded from the end of the corridor.

With a "snap", the house elf disappeared in a panic.

"Are you chatting with house elves?" Draco asked in disgust.

"Um, no, there seems to be something wrong with him." I explained reflexively.

This is the aftereffect of being taught by this brat for half a year!

"Impossible, house-elves will never disturb their master without orders," Draco said.

"I think it's probably different to call Dobby!" I said quickly.

Draco looked at me suspiciously, obviously not taking this matter to heart, "Let's go, Pansy and the others have been here for a long time!"

"Oh!" I responded and followed.

Even if the matter of taking a nap just now was interrupted like this, even if it is over, besides, I can't always care about this with a ten-year-old child seriously!

Blaise Zabini was a dark, handsome boy with a healthy vigor, a completely different type from Draco.

Although Draco is quite nasty in some ways, and has a backside hair that doesn't match his age, I have to admit that he is really a beautiful little boy!

Pansy Parkinson is a little beauty with black hair and black glasses, her proud expression is almost exactly the same as Draco's...

Crabbe, Goyle, Daphne...

"Oh, this is little cousin Sharon, no wonder Draco has been hiding until now!" Blaise said with bright eyes.

"Bracey!" Pansy yelled, holding her skirt and slightly bent her legs, "Hi, I'm Pansy Parkinson!"

"Hello!" I returned the gift as before...

With a good aristocratic upbringing, even if we met for the first time, we still got along quite happily.

When I left, I thought I had almost integrated into this circle, maybe Malfoy's name would be more useful...

With Draco up front, my birthday and matriculation letter three days later was less visible.

The envelope was made of heavy parchment and the address was written in emerald green ink.No postage stamp. The envelope bears a wax seal, a coat of arms, and a capital "H" surrounded by a lion, an eagle, a badger, and a snake.

I lay on the bed, took the letter in my hand and looked through it carefully.
