Chapter 31 Dragon Egg

……

Draco took me to hide in the bushes next to the door of the gamekeeper's cabin.

About 10 minutes later, I saw Potter and his party walking out of the castle from a distance.

Potter they knocked on the door.

The big Hagrid quickly opened the door to let them in, and then quickly closed the door.

The curtains of the cabins were drawn tightly.

Draco dragged me around the cabin several times, but couldn't see what was going on inside, and was so anxious that I almost didn't jump up.

I shook my head helplessly, and went straight up to knock on the door.

Draco stared at me dumbfounded, and didn't react for a long time!

The sound of something colliding in the room.

After a long while, Hagrid shouted nervously, "Who is it?"

"Mr. Hagrid, hello, I heard from Professor Flitwick that you know a lot about magical creatures. I have a few questions to ask you, may I?" I asked with a raised voice.

There was another noise in the room.

"Uh, um..." Hagrid hesitated for a long time without answering.

"No, you can't let her in..." Ron said in a low voice inside the room.

"Mr. Hagrid, I'm very sorry to disturb you! But, I really want to know about those magical creatures!" I continued to shout "guiltfully", "Can you open the door?"

"Oh, oh, of course, no!" said Hagrid incoherently, and finally opened the door a crack.

"Hello, my name is Sharon Farmly. I saw a magical creature called Hippogriff in the library. They can actually communicate with people. I mean, if we are lucky enough to meet them, we need to pay attention What?" Without waiting for Hagrid to speak, I casually asked a passage I read a few days ago.

"Yes, hippogriffs, a group of cute little guys..." Hagrid's beetle-like black eyes lit up all of a sudden.

"You really know! Can we talk slowly in the room? I still have a few questions I want to ask Mr. Hagrid!" I said, pretending to look at Hagrid eagerly.

"Of course, of course, please come in!" Hagrid moved away enthusiastically, "Be careful with Fangya, don't be afraid, it's just a timid little pity..."

Draco followed me into the house without a word.

It's hot in the house! It was almost summer now, and for some reason, Hagrid was still burning up the fireplace!

A huge dog jumped at it, but it was not malicious because its tail flicked very fast.

I reached out and touched the bridge of Yaya's nose, and scratched his chin again.

Yaya immediately whimpered comfortably, and sat down obediently on the ground.

"Malfoy!"

Of the three stunned people in the room, Weasley, who reacted first, yelled loudly.

The three of them immediately stared at us as if they were facing a formidable enemy.

"What are you doing here?" Potter asked loudly.

"As you can see!" Draco said contemptuously, "How dare I rest assured that Sharon will come here alone!"

Weasley's face flushed immediately, "Only evil Slytherins..."

"Then, if Sharon comes here alone, you won't bully her!" Draco interrupted Weasley and said maliciously.

The skeptical look of Granger beside him speaks for itself!

Weasley's face was almost bleeding.

"Sit down, everybody sit down, I'll bring some rock cakes, I just baked them..."

Only the big guy Hagrid didn't seem to notice anything, he closed the door cheerfully and said.

Draco looked around the cabin, and his eyes quickly fell on the center of the fireplace, under the kettle, where a large black egg lay.

"It's a Norwegian Ridgeback egg!" Draco exclaimed, walking quickly to the fireplace.

Hagrid, who was holding a large plate of cakes, froze.

"Oh, Merlin, it's still alive!" Draco shouted, turning his head sharply to Hagrid, "You can't hatch it in a place like this!"

"Of course, I've hatched it for almost a month! I know how to take care of it!" Hagrid said stiffly.

"Really? Sir, you are amazing!" I walked around and said in admiration.

"Uh, haha, is it?" Hagrid immediately felt embarrassed, "You don't need to call me Mr., just like Harry and the others, you can just call me Hagrid!"

"Oh, that's great, Hagrid!" I quickly received, "Actually, Draco is also very interested in magical creatures. Not only that, he has always dreamed of raising a dragon himself since he was a child!"

"Really?" Hagrid said in surprise.

"He noticed that you borrowed a lot of books about raising dragons in the library, so he came here specifically to discuss with you..." I said, winking at Draco.

"Yes, then, do you know how to feed a young Norwegian Ridgeback?" Draco glared at me quickly, looked at the huge dragon egg, and finally answered.

Hagrid immediately got excited, put down the big tray, and started talking enthusiastically with Draco.

The three of Potter, who had been forgotten, stared dumbfounded at all this.

We were bored in the cabin for almost an hour, and Granger found a gap and told Hagrid that he needed to review his homework, and Draco got up and said goodbye together.

"Okay, don't say it, you know?" Hagrid said with a grin.

"Of course!" Draco glanced at Weasley, and immediately responded, "I'll come and visit it tomorrow when I'm free!"

Hagrid nodded happily...

After entering the castle, the three of Potter walked to the Gryffindor tower, and Draco and I walked to the Slytherin cellar, neither of us said goodbye.

"Harry, I just had a terrible nightmare!" Ron said dazedly, "Merlin, we actually stayed with two little Slytherins for an hour!"

Harry, swollen from the fire in Hagrid's cabin, nodded wildly.

"Ron, don't talk nonsense!" Hermione roared angrily...

On the way down to the cellar, Draco could barely keep his mouth shut.

"I want to watch Phyllis be born!" Draco's eyes sparkled with excitement, "Then, raise her!"

Hagrid called the unhatched Norwegian Ridgeback baby Norbert, but Draco named him Phyllis.

"That's Hagrid's dragon egg," I reminded.

"Hmph!" Draco snorted disdainfully, his eyes rolled quickly.

I have no doubt that this kid is thinking about how to take that dragon back!

Draco didn't even tell Pansy or Blaise about this matter. He borrowed many books about raising dragons and the habits of young dragons, and went to Hagrid's cabin every day when he was free.

"What's Draco doing lately? I haven't talked to him properly in ages!" Pansy complained.

"He needs to study, you know, Uncle Lucius asked him to take the No. 1 exam!" I had to make excuses for Draco.

Pansy seems to believe it!

"Of course, Draco is the best!" the little girl said proudly.

Blaise winked at me.

This kid is not easy to cheat!

This afternoon, after Draco came back from Hagrid, he excitedly dragged me to an empty classroom.

"You have to help me!" Draco panted slightly with uncontrollable excitement on his face.

Before I could answer, Draco hurriedly explained his plan in a low voice.

"...I mail-ordered a rare marsupial spider...you're in charge of getting their attention..."

Draco found out that in addition to the nature of the first seal, the newly hatched baby dragon also has a way for the baby dragon to remember the caretaker.

"Benefits?" I asked unhurriedly.

To be honest, I don't think that big log cabin can raise a dragon, and it's not a bad thing to let the little dragon go to the Malfoy family, but I can't stand Draco's little face who asked for help and got his nostrils up!

"Benefits! You actually told me the benefits! Don't tell me how many times I helped you before! Just get a dragon, do you know what it means?" Draco raised his voice in shock.

As if I were an idiot!

Well, "Eating people's mouths is short, taking other people's hands short", after Emma and I came to the magic world, the Malfoy family did give us countless help...

Early the next morning, at the long table in Gryffindor, the beautiful bald eagle sent a note to Potter and the others.

Meanwhile, Draco also got a note from a pockmarked little owl who apparently belonged to the school.

It scrawled on it: "Dear Mr. Malfoy, Miss Farmily, I have good news for you. The little dragon is about to hatch. Come over as soon as possible after class!"

Potter looked over here.

Draco raised his pointed chin and gave him a rare nod.

The two are tacit understanding!

Excited for the first time in class, Draco lost his mind.

Luckily we only have one herbal class this morning!

"Hermione, how many times in our lifetime can we see little dragons come out of their shells?" Not far away, Weasley said eagerly

He wanted to skip Herbology class and go straight to Hagrid!

"We've got to go to class, or we'll get in trouble; if anyone finds out what Hagrid's doing, he'll have worse luck than us—" Granger said annoyed.

Draco sneered mockingly.

We're squatting not far from Potter and the others, Weasley can definitely hear it!

"What are you laughing at? Don't you want to hurry up and see?" Weasley asked angrily, brandishing a small shovel.

His voice was loud enough to get Mrs. Sprout's attention.

"Mr. Weasley, please pay attention to classroom discipline!"

The good-tempered Mrs. Sprout did not deduct points, but she also criticized by name.

Weasley's face instantly swelled to match the color of his hair!
