Della Bush's Love Story

Chapter 2 An Encounter at an Ice Cream Shop

Dick finished announcing what he wanted to keep secret until Christmas, jumped out of his chair, and looked back to see Della standing in the doorway.

He let out a squeal like a puppy, uncivilized: "Shit!"

Lucy's reflex: "No swearing! Dick!"

But everyone at the table froze, watching Della, waiting for her to explode.

But she didn't explode.

While her eyes look like she's about to put her little brother in the oven and bake them into little cakes, she doesn't really do it.

Dick ducked under the table.

Jack quickly felt Dick slip under his robes and ducked. "Hey son, don't pull Daddy's legs."

Everyone in the restaurant is looking at him.

"It hurts a little," he explained.

Lucy immediately said enthusiastically, "Della, do you want dinner?" She looked at her daughter and saw that she looked wonderful. She combed her hair, wore her favorite dress, washed her face, and shaved the fine hair on her forehead.

"You, you want to go out?" she asked, looking out of the kitchen window, "but it's dark now, if you want to go to Fred, how about tomorrow? Tomorrow you can go out for a day, there is nothing at home that needs you Help."

Della politely refused: "No, Mom, I don't need to go out. Thank you, I don't need dinner, I'm not hungry. I just came to tell you that I'm fine."

The people at the table said in unison: "Of course!"

"Of course you're fine, honey!" said Jack.

"Obviously!" Hans nodded cautiously, not wanting to annoy his sister.

Hana, the youngest, didn't quite understand, but nodded along.

Della gave a polite smile, stiff and murderous, and no one dared to see that she was holding on.She turned and went out.

Hearing her footsteps disappear on the stairs, Jack heaved a sigh of relief, and took his youngest son out of his wizard robes, "Dick, you kept your hair."

Hans added: "However, you'd better not let Della see you tomorrow." He thought for a while, "Before school starts, you'd better avoid her."

Everyone in the Bush family is waiting for their lovely eldest daughter, intimidating sister, and scary sister to recover from a broken relationship. They are caring, patient, and curb their curiosity.

Not an easy task for a family of Hufflepuffs.

Lucy cried several times behind Della's back. She told Jack that she couldn't think of any boy who would refuse a lover's kiss. It was no wonder Della wanted to break up. It was not her fault.

"She must have been very traumatized," she said. "You never said no to me."

Jack was also very angry, "That's a bad boy! I saw it! Red hair! Humph! Vulgar people, they are right!"

They supported Della's breakup, and the whole family supported it.

Lucy also hopes that Hans can vent his anger on Della. He was in the same grade as Fred, and he was an older brother.

"If you meet him at school, you're going to punch him hard!" said Lucy at the breakfast table, clenching her fists, and she looked good with a powerful punch.

Jack agrees, "Sometimes a little force isn't bad, and while I've always taught you not to fight, sometimes you need to use your fists."

Hans choked on his milk.

Dick knew his brother well: "He can't, he can't beat Fred, he's a head taller than him."

Hans whispered, "He's still a batter."

Dick said excitedly, "He's still a twin! Hans will be beaten into mashed potatoes by them!"

Hans first beat his little brother with his fist, and though Dick kicked him back quickly, it was hard to say who won in the end, for Lucy, in a fit of rage, refused to help them wash their clothes which had been soiled by the fight, and at last they had to be in the In the last leisure time before the end of the holiday, I was basking in the sun in the garden while washing my clothes and pants.

In the kitchen, Della said she would love to help Lucy do the shopping, "I can help you with the basket. You have to buy a lot of things, it must be heavy."

Lucy was very moved. She hugged her favorite eldest daughter and said that she would buy her a nice hat and a nice headband, "I want to dress you up beautifully!"

The two brothers in the courtyard looked enviously at Della leading Hana and Lucy from the fireplace to Diagon Alley.

"She can go out and play, but we have to do laundry here," Dick complained.

"Mom sympathizes with her and wants to comfort her, don't be jealous." Hans educated his little brother.

Diagon Alley was still bustling. School was about to start, and it was full of people, including some Muggles.

Della saw the Muggle girl in jeans, and she wanted a pair of them too, always.

Lucy was looking at the list in her hand, "We need to buy cheese, olive oil, some pepper, and a few pounds of bacon." She put away the list and smiled at Della, "Of course, we also need to buy you a hat .”

Della cleared her throat. "Can you change the hat into jeans?"

Lucy said blankly, "What pants?"

Della said quickly, "A lot of people have it. It's very popular in school... Muggle clothes." She said expectantly, "Is that okay?"

Lucy immediately said, "Of course! We'll buy you this!"

But she regrets it when she sees Della wearing pants like that, she doesn't know... oh, Muggle women wear clothes like that, it sticks to Della's legs like a second skin, witch who sells clothes Quadella looks great in it "Looks like she has a round and upturned ass and straight and long legs, boys will go crazy for you, girl!"

Lucy took out the money immediately.

Della also bought a blouse, called a T or something else, it had no sleeves, a huge neckline, no buttons, short in the front and long in the back, exposing Della's white belly and navel.

It is also said to be very popular.

At least Della was going crazy with joy!She refused to take the dress off her body.

Lucy sighed: "Okay, okay. Muggles..." She shook her head, paid the money anyway, and then handed her little daughter Hana to Della, "You take her, I'll go shopping for other things. "

Della said, "I can go buy cheese and olive oil, which are next to each other, and when I finish shopping, I will take Hana to eat ice cream. We will wait for you at the ice cream shop."

Lucy said, "Alright, then I'll come to you when I finish shopping."

Della bought a whole cheese and a large cake of olive oil, and the shopkeeper gave them a handful of toffee. With the toffee in her mouth, Hana mumbled, "Shall we go eat ice cream?"

"Go." Della couldn't hold Hana anymore, so she had to let her go by herself, "You walk in front of me, walk slowly." She followed Hana, watching her swaying and bouncing Jumping to the ice cream shop, this is her favorite shop in Diagon Alley, and it is also the most familiar, and Lu remembers it most clearly.Later Lucy taught her that if she got separated from her family in Diagon Alley, she would come to the ice cream shop.

Hana rushed to the counter of the ice cream shop, tiptoed to look at the ice cream eagerly, and turned to her and asked, "Can I have a Big Mac?"

"Okay," said Della. She couldn't finish it before she got home anyway, and Lucy wouldn't let her eat when she got home.

Hana asked for a Chocolate Big Mac.

That's when the shopkeeper recognized Della, "Oh, Della, you look like a Muggle! What do you want? Double rum ice cream?"

Della's face darkened. This is her favorite meal when she and Fred come together.

"No, strawberries for me," she said.

The store owner's eyes lit up suddenly, and he stretched out his hand to wave to the outside, "Hi! He's behind you!" He asked loudly, "Yes..." Then he suddenly became dumb, and said awkwardly to Della, "Is that strawberry? I'll get it for you right away."

Then he filled a cup for her, piled up like a mountain.

This is bigger than a Big Mac.

Then he sprinkled it with a thick, rich strawberry jam.It looks like an erupting strawberry volcano.

The kids in front of the counter all stared at this super ice cream cone.

At this time, a boy wearing glasses came up a little bit awkwardly. He deliberately didn't look at Della: "Give me three chocolate butter ice creams, and I want the biggest one."

The shopkeeper said: "I may not be able to pile it that high."

The boy said, "Anything is fine."

Della glanced at the boy, seeing that he was avoiding her sight, she didn't speak to him, but nodded to the girl next to him who was also avoiding her sight.

Girl, Hermione Granger greeted her with a somewhat deliberately cheerful voice: "Hi, Della! Is this your sister? She's so cute! Oh, we didn't notice you just now, you look so good in that!"

"Her name is Hana." Della introduced.

Hana held the ice cream that was higher than her head in both hands, licked happily, and said to Hermione, "Hello."

"Hello." Hermione knelt down to talk to her. Harry Potter behind her was even more embarrassed. He had two ice creams in his hand, and the shopkeeper had another one.

Apparently, one person didn't come in.

He kicked Hermione, "Your." Then quickly took the one from the shopkeeper, said goodbye to Della in a mess, said "see you at school" and ran away.

It seems that the news of their breakup will spread without going back to school.

After Harry and Hermione came out, they searched for a long time before finding Ron at the intersection. "Your." Harry handed another ice cream to Ron, looking at the mouse in his hand: "Is there a way?" Ron said, "I bought the medicine, I hope it will help."

Hermione said, "You should really go in, it would be embarrassing if you didn't—so they really broke up?" Ron rolled his eyes, nodded, and the three of them walked slowly down the street together.

"Mum wants to know why, she thinks it's Fred's fault. So do I." Ron couldn't wait to tell his friend about the twins' biggest accident of the last part of the summer.

"He's been hiding in his room. George came out to bring him the food. He said Fred was crying in the room—I don't believe it. Neither does Mom, nor does anyone at home." Ron Said, "But if it wasn't his fault, he would have been yelling."

Harry and Hermione nodded together, thinking of Fred. They couldn't imagine Fred crying, but they also couldn't imagine him willingly being wronged.

"No wonder he ran away just now," said Hermione.

Harry asked, "He was in the ice cream parlor just now?"

Hermione said, "Before we went in. He slipped away like a rabbit seeing a fox."

George found Fred, "Here." He handed him a large glass of iced juice.

"Why not ice cream?" Fred took a big sip.George looked at him and said nothing.

Fred: "...Della's at the ice cream shop."

George nodded.

Fred fidgeted like a cat covered in fleas, "Did she see you?"

George shook his head. "No, I ran away when I saw her at the door. She was wearing a pair of jeans, she looked like a Muggle, and she was very attractive. All the boys in the store were looking at her."

Fred covered his face, moaned in pain and squatted down. "You'll be laughed at to death by all the boys at school," George asserted.

—if the reasons for their breakup were known.

Fred gulped down the iced juice in one gulp.

George: "When are you going to go to her and explain?"

Fred sucked on the ice and didn't speak.

"You have to explain that you didn't mean to."

Fred sucked up the ice as well, squashed the paper cup, and said, "How do I explain? Sorry, because I'm inventing skipping candy, and I'm thinking about how to spit it out and how to stop it quickly, so I don't have time to go." Going on a date with you, so I let my brother go, you try to kiss him, he startled and pushed you, forgive me please?"

After he finished speaking, he looked at George.

"She'll hate me to death."

"She'll hate you to death."
